To expect God to obey his own rules of engagement is more than Alastor has ever bothered to do. Deities are tricksters in that way. And though he had not been certain as to how the being intended to circumvent his own countdown, the answer comes in the form of the quake of the ground and the clanging of the bells within the clock tower that looms over the Pentagram.

It draws the radio demon to the roof where he allows his gaze to traverse down the hill to the remainder of the city. As expected, he is greeted with calamity. A beast or otherwise distinctly un-Hellish creature - presumably of God's design - is making light work of the surrounding area. He cannot quite make it out - it's too far in the distance for him to do so. But he knows that this is no run-of-the-mill Hell noise. Alastor does nothing in his observation, only making a brief note of the rush of allies, Charlie included, to take on the impending threat.

Anxiety for her safety grasps at his lungs, but he swallows back any external response. His place is here, designated solely to protect the Hazbin and its current inhabitants. But his pupils narrow in dangerous awareness. If God is willing to bring forth obstacles before the time they've been given is concluded, then there is little that can keep him from doing more of the same.

They will have to be ready, even now. Especially if the first defenses fail.

Alastor can only hope that they will not.

To Kenji's surprise, Blaze was not in bed, it was a surprise to him as she was usually the second to get up. And on a bright Sunday like today, she'd usually sleep in.

However, he didn't pay any mind to this, slipping into his pink bathrobe and walking down the short hallway to find...

[🔥] "It's May the 12th...Sunday..." another swig of her Sprite.

It took Kenji a moment to know what she meant by that, but his expression dimmed upon the realization that today was...
