Now that I've written like 2 drabbles of the EBG week (thanks to @.zhongrin's post abt it because it is FUELING my lore hungry brain) I have... A sort of theory to put it here.

Mostly to compose my own thoughts because after EBG I will most likely just compose it all in a neat little master list for future reading purposes + to hopefully continue on this little AU in my own pleasure. Yes I am very well aware it's just a game and no one has seen this little side blog (thank the Gods) so don't mind me just having this little thing running around wwwww)

That aside, I've been taking notes so far and it seems I can gather a few thoughts... One being that:

'Albedo' (Dorian) is sentient. He seems to be well aware of what's going on and on one of the posts, he has tampered with the system enough so that it would censor any sort of incriminating evidence that can crack his reality with Rin. It's a very interesting concept because he is also aware that the other anons (and mutuals) are growing concerned and are most likely trying to get Rin out of the situation.

As of February 19, 2023 (Day 2 of EBG), Albedo has tampered the system of Tumblr. He has also shown signs of doing it via blank asks and is actually smug about it on @.ainescribe's ask at exactly February 18, 2023. Upon looking closer on the photo, he has also neglected showing the star on his neck.

In one of the asks, @.mixed-kester seem to ask on how long they've been together, and it is implied that it has been forever. Alongside that, there was something interesting in a sense that the following words, "I barely remember what my life was like before meeting him". This can be taken by face value as an exaggeration, but now that we know he's sentient, it is possible that he has tampered with Rin's own memories.

On one of the answers from Rin, there was one brief moment where they wrote, "a cry for help? Comrade no one's crying for help" wherein the word 'help' has been glitched out. This came from @.annoyinglyboredpoet as they brought up another point wherein the words, "all is good :)" was in bold.

There's more to dig up but as of right now, this is the current leading points of evidence. If Albedo (Dorian) is a smart individual, he must've done a lot of preparation to get Rin and maybe even dug deep into the research of locking a person's memories... Or erasing them.

UPDATE ON MY THEORY: I FOUND MORE EVIDENCE AND I THINK I JUST GOT A BREAKTHROUGH

After rechecking every post, seeing what clues was left behind and EVEN down to the first few posts when EBG started, I found so many things I need to list out:

From the first 2 letters from Albedo, he seem to write with the ending of:

Knights of Favonius' Chief Alchemist,

Albedo ⭐

However, on his third and more recent letter, it has already changed into a more cursive format without the title AND the absence of the star.

The first sighting of the blank ask was from @.kurikurikurisu, who talked about their husband asking them if they were alright, even detailing Zhongli's arrival. However, due to the matters of 'Albedo' tampering with the system of Tumblr (at least by the evidence, it seems minimally...), the ask was considered blank and it was the first sightings of many blank asks in the blog.

Interestingly, however, the first few before the blank ask phenomenon during the challenge had Rin talk about Albedo instead, with one post featuring Zhongli's back by @.haliyamori and the name Albedo highlighted in bold.

During the events of day 2 in one of @.mixed-kester's ask, Rin began to bring up to Albedo about the phenomenon (blank asks) and he mentioned that it could be some type of curse, leading him to say, "perhaps I should examine all letters before passing them to you from now on"

(interestingly, the word adorable was in italics, but it's not as relevant of a hint)

Because of those words, it is very clear that 'Albedo' shows his signs of being self aware in the dawn of day 2 AND he is already actively working on sabotaging each attempt during that point in time. It is very clear from when he had tossed the letter into the fire when Rin left to make him coffee.

On @.silkjade's ask, the words jade help me is crossed out.

On @.kurikurikurisu's second message, they talk about having to draw an old art and had a bit of a conversation with Alhaitham. However, due to the system being "broken" which honestly I doubt it is, if it was actually because of Albedo and... Many others... Rin only sees it as Risu talking to themselves and in the tags, they mentioned, "this physically pains me send help".

On day 2, I sent an ask about 'Albedo' showing signs of being a yandere and am the first to bring up Dorian, which sparked the seed of doubt by the response:

"it's normal to want to keep someone around you constantly if you love them, surely?"

"... Right?"

This hints how the dynamic works between 'Albedo' and Rin, and although it is considered normal for most to have your lover closest to you, this can also be used as an excuse for those with malicious intent to keep their victims close so they don't find out what is really going on.

On @.mixed-kester's ask, they mentioned about the blank asks and the answer from Rin, interestingly, had the word 'something' italicized.

It also mentioned in that ask that Albedo can sense something in the papers and implied it may be dangerous (which is the others trying to help them from being manipulated and being twisted in being the bad guys).

Another ask from anon that had Rin mention about the trend of people talking and looking at empty air and asking them if they're okay (implying that they can't see/don't recognize the existence of their original biases as per the game's rules).

Another ask I sent about Dorian, and having to wish to talk to Rin about this. In the response however, the word 'totally' is italicized.

A random post from Rin saying "everything reminds me of him", followed by @.silkjade speaking about cryptic posts deserving a strike. This gets dealt with by Rin clarifying that they meant 'Albedo', though the statement without context is worrisome.

In an ask with ❤️ ⚰️ anon, Rin mentions about memory loss, and they described it as:

"oh that's normal, I have that room it's kind of like a fogginess in your head, right? like you can't exactly remember certain events clearly and stuff..."

It is rather clear from that and the explanation Albedo gave them (which sounds like an excuse so he can keep those memories locked away or worse) that they're already losing memories from day 2.

An ask was sent during day 2 about the URL. The excuse that was given to @.nohrenvia was that it was their other chinese name, and yes, the other was italicized.

In @.silkjade's ask, they mentioned that everything they said about Albedo sounded sarcastic. In response, they behemently denied it. Interestingly, 'dare' was italicized.

On an anonymous ask by the 🌼 anon, Rin briefly gets interrupted by Albedo and talks nervously about not destroying things.

An anon asked if posting/sending Zhongli related stuff is prohibited, which is led to another blank ask.

(Clarification on the all is good part: only e was glitched out!)

In one of the asks from @.ansy-tea, the tags mentioned, "ansy I hate you", "I mean love" and "not as much as I love albedo tho". In the response, though, 'Albedo' keeps his star (when we are aware he doesn't have it.)

On one of @.ainescribe's ask (which was a batch of photos of Zhongli), a conversation was sparked between Ansy and 'Albedo'. In the second to last photos, he neglected showing his star- and in the last photo had a smug, almost victorious look on his face. This may just imply that he's very aware and can contribute to the fact he's sentient.

on one of the asks by @.dustofthedailylife, they asked how does it feel to deal with withdrawals and if they're okay (in day 2). The response was normal as Rin answered about caffeine withdrawals, but the tags only had ":)" ":))" ":)))"

@.queen-belial first sent an ask to Rin which is basically "Rin blink twice if Albedo is holding you captive". The following conversation ensued with Rin saying they weren't kept captive, and Queen mentions the blanks in their memories and the fact they can't see messages (most likely implying of Zhongli). This ended with Queen saying that they mixed them up with someone, but it seems dragonli was not happy of the outcome and Rin mentions to keep their 'mascot' in check.

On one of the asks sent by @.kurikurikurisu, they had letters colored in their ask. If formed, it reads, 'good luck, Rin <3'. However, Rin's response is concerning as they mentioned about how they act like they're in danger and said 'everything is fine'.

On one of my asks that I sent (which Xiao intercepted), it seems that they couldn't read most of his message and had thought that someone (Zhongli) died.

2 of @.cuddleluc's asks were seen as blanks.

In a conversation with @.the-travelling-snitch and Rin, they mentioned in their tags that everything is fine, and even on their response. As usual, it is in bold with an additional :).

(Curiously, under that same thread, @.lychniis put in the tags, "*looks at albedo*" and "i don't trust you-")

On the ask sent by @.2broschilininahottub (long url), they had certain words highlighted and it reads, "You are brainwashed by Albedo". The response seem to show confusion as they said that they weren't brainwashed and to not slander Albedo like that.

On the third day of EBG, 'Albedo' goes over to Rin's laptop and seem to start manipulating it so that colored asks will now be considered uncolored. This proves his sentience, and the fact he has tampered with Rin's Tumblr more to the point they can't see it.

(As another note, the words, "amusing" has s being glitched out. And yes, he neglected showing his star right there.)

This is shown from an update to Rin when (in the video they recorded) that the asks became blank and shows the uncolored version right below.

Under the comments of the post update of 'Albedo' by day 3, peopled mentioned about the star and one of them said to write ta name and they'd rescue them (as a follow up to their first words being 'is that a cry for help').

To Rin however, when they checked it, it looked to be blanked out and they asked what they were saying because they couldn't figure it out.

On my ask, I sent a hidden message that reads, 'Wake up, Rin. Albedo is keeping your memories hidden away'. However, due to his tampering, it looked normal with the original being deleted.

(Rin also mentions that the wind from Dragonspine is a little too loud, but they will try to listen to it in hopes thaty they can get some words or even make out what it was saying.)

@.2broschilininahottub sent another ask that mentioned that theis might be deleted, but the next words were glitched out.

@.the-travelling-witch sent an ask about Rin choosing Albedo, but they said that the stars chose him for them.

On the fourth letter by 'Albedo', it shows his sentience and the word 'fun' had f glitched out.

(He also briefly mentioned that he would be arriving at the place in around four to five days, which is the end of EBG.)

(Yes, it does prove he's a yandere).

The next ask sent by @.bi-inkstone had their messages glitched out, which seem to be them saying that 'Albedo' is self-aware/sentient and the song 'mastermind' was mentioned.

@.annoyinglyboredpoet sent 2 asks: one was a warning that was completely blacked out, and the other being to clarify with the words 'come back rin' glitched out, and 'KLEE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING RIN ITS ALBEDO WHO'S DOING THIS!! BELIEVE ME PLEASE!' scratched out.

In a post, Rin hosted a poll for an 'after-party' at the end of EBG. Although, the tags seem to read "and it can maybe act as a transition back to the normal blog..." "if y'all succeed that is" ":)", which DEFINITELY implies for everyone to try their hardest to snap Rin out of it and get them away from 'Albedo'.

The first person that was blocked by Albedo was @.abyssmal-skies, one of Rin's closest friends. They sent an ask to get 'Albedo', with the next saying that they know what he's up to and that Rin will remember. 'Albedo', though, seem to smugly say that it was unfair to indiscriminately blame him for the gaps in her memory.

UPDATE 2:

On day 4 of EBG, 'Albedo' makes another update and blocks @.abyssmal-skies. The word 'you' had y glitched out, and in the tags, 'he's' is glitched. As usual, he neglected showing the star on his neck.

(The update from Rin confirms this happening.)

@.astranne sent an ask which is a letter from Zhongli, but Rin was unable to hear it and ends up gushing about 'Albedo' instead.

On the fifth letter, he and Rin wrote it back to Capitano and on the P.S. section, 'Albedo' mentions that he will keep what he said in mind. Interestingly, the signature had his star back.

@.mixed-kester seem to have the same glitch affect them for their asks as well and mentioned Rin to it.

On @.ainescribe's ask, they wrote something in binary, but it doesn't form cohesive sentences or words.

At the bottom, however, 'Albedo' mentions about their 'troublesome' friends. Interesting enough, the word o was glitched out.

(If anyone is curious, 'rhm zfnmdkhs wghthmd cnr ynu egoj gt fnlbpkbgsb ynu mbba tn wgjb up' was translated. Maybe its a cypher?)

The sixth letter came as 'Albedo' took a photo of sleeping Rin, writing the simple words, 'I would never harm her'. It is signed the same way as the fifth letter had.

And finally, on the 5th day of EBG (RECENT UPDATE), 'Albedo' checks Rin's laptop again and seem to find something unpleasant. the dots at the end of both paragraphs were glitched, and his words were, 'how dare you try and break her...?'.

The letters 'w' and 'b' are glitched, and 'k' had a different font and color from his usual response.

on the tags, the word 'going' is now glitched.

As of right now, that is our current update on the situation. It's still ongoing as we speak, but there's already a plan in motion.

UPDATE 3:

Anyways hi yes hello here's update 3 from days 5 to 7... I'm very excited to share what happened this time :>

Picking up from the last recent update, @..2broschilininahottub had sent an ask detailing about the children that Rin and 'Albedo' will have, alongside other details on 'Albedo' and his brother.

However, this ask had been blocked and Rin took it as an opportunity to talk about 'Albedo' and shown earrings that they found.

An anon sent another ask (possibly from @.annoyinglyboredpoet due to the ending being a heart), and the letters were colored in the letter. Forming these letters will reveal the message "come back".

However, this led to Rin having to ask 'Albedo' to take a look at the errors due to her being unable to fix them. He seems to agree and proceeds to check around the pages with ease. Rin points that fact out as he found the settings button despite not seeing her blog, which makes him stop for a moment.

He seems to explain (read: excuse) it as simply having to study for a living, and he would be sensitive to some patterns and be able to infer correct deductions from his own trained insights.

(to translate what he said in layman's terms: he can pick up patterns and how people do it so he'll be able to mimic their actions, thus learn how to navigate and do other things by himself.)

This was ended with Rin giggling and saying that she loved a man who can show how knowledgeable they speak, followed by 'Albedo' inquiring if he should be wary of such men, to which was diffused and the two ending on a more positive and sweeter note.

Baizhu sent a letter since day 5, which is him inquiring about her dealing with her memory loss and asking what she remembers 4 days ago (day 1). However, Rin seem to be suspicious of him and asked for proof that he is a real doctor. This is due to the fact they refuse to reveal their medical records and had been warned not to do that to any random person, alongside mentioning a rumor about 'medical professionals' scamming others.

Interestingly, the tags from the post below seem to read, "why would anyone send a doctor to me? i'm fine really??"

@.vermillionbun had sent a letter to Rin and it seems to be asking for advice. They mentioned on how they wish to approach Xiao as they didn't knew how and went to them for dating advice, while offhandedly mentioning that they went to Zhongli but to no avail.

However, to Rin, the letter seem to reveal that the brief mention/segment of Zhongli was erased.

A joke ask(?) from an anon was sent in day 5 and it was signed from Alhaitham. The ask simply reads, "hello my dearest rin and albedo ig what the actual fuvk??? sincerely, your love Alhaitham (ples dont hurt me albedo)"

However, when Rin received it, half of it was erased (the sender's name).

An anon sent an interesting message to Rin, which goes into detail about how Rin was originally with Zhongli from the brief descriptions alone. They also mentioned about the existence of two Albedos and the fact that one is to be trusted, while the other is to be avoided. However, much like the rest, Rin has received a completely altered ask which only goes into detail of their meeting with 'Albedo' and erased any brief mention of him or the counterpart (Subject 2).

As an interesting thing to note, Rin mentioned something in her response in the ask, which was about the ring that Sucrose had made and the design had reminded her of 'Albedo'.

An anon sent a message to 'Albedo', which is simply them apologizing for all the stuff that they have told him and that they have sent him some facts. In response, 'Albedo' actually mentioned about an interesting tidbit of information: "Did you know that there's a synthetic opiod called fentanyl, which, if inhaled- for a mere amount of two-to-three milligrams- could not only make anyone forget their name, but also reduces or turns off the urge to breathe?"

(the reason why it's interesting is because it can definitely be used against a person, and knowing 'Albedo'... He may have the capacity to do so, if prompted.)

Breaking out of character on day 5, Rin mentions that they received an interesting ask, and in the tags, they said: "is that who i think it is...? i-" "hmmmmmmmmmm" "sQUINTS"

In the comments as well, @.kurikurikurisu mentions that they were about to head to sleep early but now they're super curious.

Dainsleif sent an ask to Rin during that day to update on how Aziel's condition is faring. However, in that message, certain words were highlighted. If formed, they read (roughly), "the problem its those pills your taking".

Rin responds in kind and mentions about the pills that 'Albedo' created, alongside mentioning that taking 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day would affect them that badly.

(Small pause here to mention that it could be a bad sign, but... It could also mean something else. Perhaps 'Albedo' tampered it? Maybe not, though.)

In the bottom under the read more, she mentions the words she red that was highlighted, and the response was: "the problem is those pills you're taking...?"

An anon sent a letter directed to 'Albedo', though it seems to be received negatively by 'Albedo' as the photo reveals to have blood on his cheek.

(It is also confirmed in day 6 that he killed the fox.)

@.silkjade sent an ask which mostly insists on having Rin tag along with them on their expedition to Liyue, with a small snippet of them saying to the alchemist that he's just an alchemist and if he wanted the best for Rin). The last part was crossed out as they mentioned on why he was letting him tell them what to do and to blink if they needed help.

The response was from 'Albedo' saying that they were right that he's an alchemist, and Rin mentioned that they had caffeine withdrawals. At the mention of a boyfriend and how they met multiple times, they tried to recall who it was, but came up with nothing.

(As a funny side note, one of the tags had the letter "b" on it. Probably not as relevant though.)

@.ainescribe sent a message to Rin, which shows a hint to the cryptic message that was sent to them. The keyword that was written was geo.

As an update (and an honorary mention to this!), the message was actually translated for Rin and the cipher actually reads: 'Rin, Zhongli's waiting for you back at home. Please you need to wake up.'

UPDATE 4:

When it was translated, Rin seem to show their confusion on the message and says that they're awake. They also mentioned that the place they're in was their home, followed by them doubting their statement.

In the tags, the word t was glitched out.

When day 6 came, 'Albedo' seem to express his frustration on why the message wasn't censored, followed by someone else who spoke up (perhaps the ACTUAL Albedo? Or Zhongli?) who mentioned that it didn't violate the guidelines.

The update continues as the two began to speak about the development, with the mention of a specific trigger word that can wake her.

'Albedo' mentions about the friend (@.silkjade), the letter (dead fox), and even that from @.ainescribe. They mentioned on how they now know how to deal with that method to be able to fixed the flawed algorithm, alongside dealing the same method as usual to other threats.

Interestingly, the word focus was highlighted, indicating the post about the pills that Dainsleif mentioned in his letter.

The conversation seem to end when they both noticed that things were starting to escalate, with them pausing when they realized they (us) were listening and 'Albedo' promptly left.

In the word 'they', he was glitched out. And in the tags, o was glitched out.

@.vermillionbun sent an ask to update about their ventures with Xiao and how it went, but underneath the letter was them grabbing Zhongli's earring to attach it inside the letter. They hoped that it can help jog her memory at the very least.

However, when it was received, Rin asked if that was all of it and 'Albedo' confirmed for it to be the case. He asked if they were expecting more, and she mentioned that the enveloped was too big for such a letter. After shaking it upside down, she brings up about continuing his investigation after killing the fox, and he mentioned that whoever did it would pose no threat to them.

He did mentioned about using its body parts for alchemy, to which she mentioned offhandedly that he was lucky that he was handsome, as it sounded creepy. She wrote a response back which mentioned having an influx of letters, with some being misaddressed and missing packages.

🐠 anon sent an ask to the two if 'Albedo' or Rin wanted a knife as they make some, and they can even make it as a sword. As a response, Rin mentioned that they never received one before, pausing to ask 'Albedo' if he used knives in alchemy and stating they had no idea about it.

@.silkjade's third ask was to continue on their previous discussion, with them speaking up about caffeine withdrawals and them saying what was stopping her to come by.

(they mentioned about how 'Albedo' is keeping Rin from her friends and said that that was toxic behavior).

However, when Rin received it, it was blocked and Rin wished them well on their travels to home safely.

In a letter by Aiko, they sent one to explain about leaving Snezhnaya on short notice and that they had a greenhouse built on their estate to help their flower shop. They mentioned about sending some for Klee, Rin, and 'Albedo', with the words 'no funny business with my mother, chalk. I know what you're doing' crossed out.

They finally mentioned in their letter to not push themselves and how would they recover from their own memory loss without rest.

Rin replied to the letter in kind as they attached the photo of Klee and 'Albedo' with a flower crown on his head. He also said that he'll take good care of Rin.

On Dainsleif's third message (or fourth? I don't have much time to check, please correct me if I'm wrong :" /gen), he gave an update on Aziel's sickness and had specific words highlighted. Forming them together, it reads, "I wouldn't take those pills if I was you."

As usual, the message has the colored text removed when Rin received it to conceal what they were warned, and Rin responds to it by mentioning about seeing doctor Baizhu, muttering if he's the real deal or an impersonator.

In @.nohrenvia's ask, they mentioned that their letters were blocked off by something and tried to say what was happening in case they found their letter via their secret methods. However, before they can say what was going on, it cuts short, and the bottom reads: "the letter ends here, with splotches of blood near the last sentences, a trace of golden yellow is found on the bottom page."

To Rin, they got a blank ask and asked if everything was alright from their end. Underneath was a conversation between Rin and 'Albedo', where she brings up about the feathers he has and he agrees, speaking about it having a fine sheen to them.

(I'm betting my entire life that he killed those ravens)

Rin asked what he'll use it for but stopped themselves as they figured out to be alchemy, and 'Albedo' agrees before thinking of pounding them to be used as paint. On a morbid note, he mentions that it would make a beautiful color when paired with red.

HE KILLED THEM IM TELLING YOU-

An anon sent a letter, which seems more like a rhyme of sorts. When Rin received it, the pills were erased and dragon was blocked off.

'Albedo' seem to mention that he wasn't well-versed in poetry and the like, adding that it could be chain mails or spam. Rin, though, said that it seem more like a code and wondered what it meant, with 'Albedo' saying it doesnt mean anything and they ended up apologizing as they were probably overthinking it.

@.barbatoskisser had sent an ask, which was them commenting on @.nohrenvia's where 'Albedo' said about using it and being paired with red. They said that it seem like a threat and added to not kill their partner's friend as it isn't ungentlemanly.

Rin seem to notice this but they were more concerned as it was another blank ask.

@.queen-belial sent a snow fox to deliver a letter to the two (which was named Antares), and they mentioned their deal with Capitano being a slow burn of sorts. They also asked how they are with 'Albedo', and mentioned that they couldn't... Remember (with a smile at the end).

The fox seem to be tense at the sight of 'Albedo' but refrained itself from trying to pounce on the latter, with the words 'if you harm her you will suffer' being written below.

Now that I've written like 2 drabbles of the EBG week (thanks to @.zhongrin's post abt it because it is FUELING my lore hungry brain) I have... A sort of theory to put it here.

Mostly to compose my own thoughts because after EBG I will most likely just compose it all in a neat little master list for future reading purposes + to hopefully continue on this little AU in my own pleasure. Yes I am very well aware it's just a game and no one has seen this little side blog (thank the Gods) so don't mind me just having this little thing running around wwwww)

That aside, I've been taking notes so far and it seems I can gather a few thoughts... One being that:

'Albedo' (Dorian) is sentient. He seems to be well aware of what's going on and on one of the posts, he has tampered with the system enough so that it would censor any sort of incriminating evidence that can crack his reality with Rin. It's a very interesting concept because he is also aware that the other anons (and mutuals) are growing concerned and are most likely trying to get Rin out of the situation.

As of February 19, 2023 (Day 2 of EBG), Albedo has tampered the system of Tumblr. He has also shown signs of doing it via blank asks and is actually smug about it on @.ainescribe's ask at exactly February 18, 2023. Upon looking closer on the photo, he has also neglected showing the star on his neck.

In one of the asks, @.mixed-kester seem to ask on how long they've been together, and it is implied that it has been forever. Alongside that, there was something interesting in a sense that the following words, "I barely remember what my life was like before meeting him". This can be taken by face value as an exaggeration, but now that we know he's sentient, it is possible that he has tampered with Rin's own memories.

On one of the answers from Rin, there was one brief moment where they wrote, "a cry for help? Comrade no one's crying for help" wherein the word 'help' has been glitched out. This came from @.annoyinglyboredpoet as they brought up another point wherein the words, "all is good :)" was in bold.

There's more to dig up but as of right now, this is the current leading points of evidence. If Albedo (Dorian) is a smart individual, he must've done a lot of preparation to get Rin and maybe even dug deep into the research of locking a person's memories... Or erasing them.

UPDATE 5: (Gdi theres so much to write holy shit help me God-)

Rin seem to respond the letter in kind as they mentioned about Antares letting them pet him, and she began to explain their own tale of romance. She also mentioned that 'Albedo' had added something to the package as well.

'Albedo' had wrote the words, "I do not wish to do so, but do not provoke me" before tucking it inside the envelope.

The two began to have a conversation on sending the letter back as 'Albedo' mentioned of him putting something in the box, which was the animal fur from the dead fox (yikes). When it was wrapped with other gifts and placed in the box, Rin tried to put it in the casket, but the fox seem to recoil (most likely due to the fox fur cause what the hell dude)

As they watched the fox leave, 'Albedo' asks if Rin was alright as they looked absent-minded, and Rin replied that they stayed up late last night and were feeling sleepy as a result. When 'Albedo' asked about the codes and if she cracked it, she lied and said no.

As they concluded their talk, the words "'albedo'... huh" were written below, signifying the doubt Rin has with the blonde alchemist.

In the next ask, an anon seem to send one to 'Albedo' which was a recording device made from Fontaine. He was told in the note to listen to it once and he began to ponder over the message in it.

After a while, he had concluded that the anemo archon was somewhat connected in this before expressing distaste and destroying the device. He soon mentions that none of you (the people trying to help Rin) had the key to undo what they've done.

Lycoris has sent approximately 3 messages which was transmitted over the radio signals, and they tried to help Rin remember Zhongli and had Cyno involved to help them. However, all is for naught because Rin can only hear static with 'Albedo'.

The first had the two talk about the snowstorm, the second being 'Albedo' mentioning to turn the radio off (the pause being evident as he understood what was being transmitted), and Rin turned it off. Finally, Rin asked if 'Albedo' said anything as he said no, before muttering that they thought they heard something before saying "nevermind".

To conclude day 6 (thank God cause writing updates can take ages /exag), @.ansy-tea sent an ask that opens a whole treasure trove of answers during the interview with 'Albedo'. They both had an interrogation about if he had loved Rin, if this was to spite the Gods, and what would he do after the timer is up (aka the end of EBG).

During this segment, it also shows the fact that Rin had never got their vision on their belt on their hip, which greatly explains their memory loss.

During the interrogation, 'Albedo' speaks of being interrogated while being conscious in the timeline they're in, before speaking that he saw them as a peculiar subject as first. He soon mentioned that as they spent time together, they became curious. He also mentioned about the fact that he never truly wanted or wished to harm Rin (which is... True, but to others, it seems less likely).

He mentioned that he actually didn't want to mess with the divinity by doing this, and he expressed that he didnt understood why everyone was so hostile to him because of the knowledge of their relationship.

(Editor Navina here to answer that question: we would have been accepting- or, well, at least for me. I don't mind if you have been in a relationship w/ Rin because honestly, fair. However, there is a fine line between that and taking what isn't yours while actively trying to conceal any recollection of their original s/o. Like seriously, dude- that's one thing you should never do to someone you like. At least just say you wanna be in a poly relationship or something, goddamn. Anyway, rant over.)

When he answers the final question, he mentions that he had countermeasures set in place, and after the interview was over, he said that Ansy had issues to deal with as well and spoke about them having an opportunity to continue speaking with him directly very soon.

On the end of day 6, 'Albedo' checks Rin's page to see if anyone had noticed and saw that no one had. Looking amused, he mentioned on how they seem rather docile now and said that they must've lost vision on what they ought to be doing, before leaving while speaking, "it'll just make things easier for me."

And finally, on day 7 (RECENT UPDATE), 'Albedo' checks in again but this time opens the drawer, raising the vision that he took from Rin. Putting it back inside, he leaves. The words below were all glitched, but it (roughly at least) translates into: "I need to find a way to delete(?) // it soon" (the // is parts I cant roughly translate)

Our current glitched message from Rin is: he's going to take ____. My assumption? It's either your memories, you, or even your vision. But due to time constraints, it can also be me (aka Rin).

I'll be updating this again once day 7 concludes because tomorrow is the end of EBG, so... Hopefully? We can get answers.

... In the meantime, I will try my best to dig up answers as well on my end with 'Albedo'. I need to know the truth at the very least, and I'll do anything to get answers.

UPDATE 6:

So... Unfortunately, there is too much to day 7.

Like I genuinely can't tell you the amount of asks that was given, but I will do my utmost best to summarize most— if not, all— of the asks at hand.

To start off, the final comic was delivered with Dorian handing over the geo vision that was retrieved to Albedo, with the word "o████" being the last of the message we got that was glitched.

The entire message is basically "he's going to take o████", and thanks to after-party, it is over.

The rest after that had most asks trying to reach to Rin, but some were mostly them trying to find where Rin is and utilizing many methods to do so.

I sent an ask during this time but not to look for Rin at first, but to ask about the missing vision. Rin seems confused upon receiving the ask because the vision got glitched out, expressing that she didn't knew what she needed to look for.

The rest, however... It ended into chaos.

Yes, it spiraled to chaos that even I can't simplify it. It's that chaotic.

(like genuinely I'm telling you, I'm seeing the posts and God does it really hurt my brain. If you wanna see day 7, check the tag because I cannot summarize anything now that it's over and my brain being already fried HAHAHAHA)

As an honorary mention, however, before the start of the after party, Rin made a post about them getting 3 strikes. Thus, this concluded the event, and in the tags had them say "now everything can get back to no—" with the rest cut off.

... needless to say, the after party started after that.

FINAL THOUGHTS?

This event has been a wild ride to take note of.

I genuinely had never expected for this to go from a silly game to an actual AU and had it's own story to boot, and I genuinely can't say enough on how I felt during this event now that it's finally over.

Yes, after party was genuinely worse in intensity. Yes, piecing together lore and realizing clues before in previous days was hectic.

Yes... Documenting this took a lot of effort and I gave up on day 7.

But it was fun.

As someone who loves mysteries, this was a really good case study of how a yandere spirals down to their own madness is fascinating, and how a community unites as one no matter what.

In all honesty? This has prove itself as a useful and beneficial study of solidarity, manipulation, gaslighting, drugs... And finally, unity.

...

So, what do I make of this?

Personally?

This event is wild.

But I think it's thanks to this that I met Rin and even got the confidence to step into the network... And even down to making this AU.

I still have plans to make this AU its own shape thanks to her, but after this and the epilogue, I'll be compiling everything and tying it off in a neat little bow for the master list.

And after that, I think I can get to working on this blog and what else it needs.

But to end things, I'd like to say this:

Thank you, Rin, and everyone else in her blog that made this event fun and worthwhile.

This whole event would never have achieved its own happy ending without everyone's efforts.
