working on a draft 4 leatherhead so, small hc/study

Leatherhead does have an anger problem but it’s like. Very different compared to their brothers. It’s more like... tightly wound and bound to snap when provoked. Like, a product of trying to keep themself under control. They may use flagrant and often violent threats but rarely go through with them- unless they feel like they need to. When loosing control it’s more an outburst where all of the bad energy stored up in their body needs out- and things get broken. that's only for worst case scenarios.

Under that same lieu I think. As much as I prefer this design and general vibe of MM leatherhead I also love a lot of the portrayals of mirage+idw comics plus the 2003 and 2012 show. That kinda conflict of trying not to be a monster while grappling what monster even means. It’s something I think leatherhead does contend with sometimes. Being the only true carnivore, being mutated from one of the oldest apex predators in the world. They don’t know how to really talk about it without- all of the baggage that comes with it.

What is your motif?

The lightning rod.

Whether it’s your turbulent nature, your flash quick mind, or the air of unknown about you, your undercurrent is the lightning rod. you are somewhat unpredictable, but if we unravelled we’d see you know exactly what you’re doing, but it’s makes you feel less vulnerable to pretend it wasn’t planned. some people stay back from you, but others would follow you cross country, for the very same reason. they don’t know enough about you. the difference is in who wants to learn more. keep your golden nature, it’s exciting, but don’t be afraid to admit what you know. matshona dhliwayo said “lightning strikes but does not roar” your bite will always be worse than your bark, keep that close to your chest.
