Okay, I forgot if I've mentioned this idea, I don't think so.

I have seen this idea going around that Floro Sprout roots are red. Blood red. This has inspired a new headcannon.

TW: Mentions of blood loss, brain death, possibly decay.

So, the floro sprout roots looks blood red because they are stained with actual blood, like how normal plant roots look weirdly water-stained. Now, where does this blood come from?

The part(s) of the brain that control conscious thoughts, free will, and emotion.

But what happens with a human circulatory system which connects the entire bloodstream together, now includes the Floro Sprout itself?

The human body gets slowly drained of blood while the Sprout feeds.

This means that the Sprout will take blood from the body, starting with the brain, and as more parts of the body die from lack of oxygen (blood carries oxygen around the body), the Sprout starts impacting the actual brain, making IT die as well.

Now, if, say... this Sprout were magically modified, then it could keep the body moving long after death, allowing for a fun little puppet that is completely dependant on the thing that is killing it.

🍽️ Solo Time w/ Yunho 🌱

🌟i was expecting… you know… some OUTDOOR FUN WITH MY WOLF TODAY!! but when i walked came down this morning to wake the all my darlings up i found…. a naked Yunho in the den ((laughs)) a very shocking surprise actually. we had to check over his injuries since we don’t actually know when he shifted back to his human form. his stitches stayed in tack thankfully, we put some bandages over them so his clothes wouldn’t rub against them.

he’s also very… calm (?) compared to his wolf counterpart. he speaks very slow and pronounces all of the syllables in the words he’s speaking. he told me he doesn’t know much english words, so we’re going to start him some lessons pretty soon. i am amazed at his mannerisms. i didn’t think he would have many but he knew how to behave while we were out walking around the town (per his request)

we had a very nice time out today~ we.. well he ate a lot today. he must have been starving having been in his wolf form for this long. he told me a lot of things about his old pack that we have some digging to do about that later.. he really likes these sticky buns this woman was selling while we were out. we bought so many~ after our dinner we walked around for a while and came on home. for now he’s bunked with Mingi until we can get an actual bed in his room and not just a fluffy dog bed 😅

i was asked very politely by Yeosang if we could have his solo time tomorrow so that’s who i will be with tomorrow ☺️

I was lukewarm to BATB: TEC, feeling the writing and canon it presented could have been far better than what we got, but your interpretation of Forte really knocked it out of the park, and then some, to the point that he's pretty much an OC I fell in love with lmao. He's definitely a case of a character I love to see even out of the BATB verse, which doesn't happen too often with any canon character, honestly. That's how much I enjoy him lmao.

I'd love to RP with more characters with deep connections with the mystica/supernatural as how tradition understands it instead of pop media. Less "Disney Tinkerbell"s and more asshole capricious fairies, so to speak. I'd love to interact with more mermaids who are petty bitches, or actual ugly-ass Gorgons, etc. If we're going by classic Hollywood monsters, then I want the actual Bram Stoker's Dracula, or the Victor Frankenstein's Creature as written by Mary Shelly. The truer to the roots, the better.

But of course, I'm not going to be an elitist tightwad prick about "canon" and all that good stuff, because just like with pop media canon characters, I'd like to see the writer's interpretation of that traditional/old school fantasy and have fun with it. I want to see how someone interprets the creation of life into the Monster that isn't nails in the dude's neck, or how their vampire gets around crossing moving water. I feel these sort of characters have been long lost, seeing the old traditions as stuffy, cliche, and predictable. And it saddens me.

I've pretty much abandoned all ideas with Giovanni because, honestly, I am enjoying Forte's interactions with Guy MUCH MUCH more. Without sounding like a "fixer" arc, I am hoping for Guy to discover being a more positive presence in Forte's life as Forte is in his despite both (and arguably especially Forte all the more) being complete and utter hot messes. I just love seeing completely fucked up dumpster fires somehow becoming better people just by seeing a bit of each other that needs to improve/heal. And this can be in any verse with Forte, with or without Cogsworth being around or with Rose or vampire or BATB. Guy's flexible!

That, or Forte meets the other Seven, but I picture they wouldn't get along all too well xD

Full disclosure: I plot about as well as a penguin flies. That being said I would love to play a few things if they interest you!

I'm super interested in doing any RP with young Alma just because I would love to explore her more as a new mother age for the triplets could very well be adjusted, anywhere between pre-gift (3-5 ish) to before Bruno left. (Literally any age 5-40)

I would also RP Julieta in any of this age range. Just because sibling interactions have my heart. It would also be fun to see how she handles him returning. Just. SIBLINGS.

Last but not least, Casita. I very much would like to explore both previous interactions with Bruno (I feel like before Mira she would have a similar relationship with him) As well as after he went in the walls before the magic faded enough that she couldn't anymore. I want her helping him with food and furniture and with trying to warn the family as well as (when she finally just gives in to it) helping him avoid the family.

🍩 DONUT - favourite sweet treat?

Wylan isn’t picky about the things he indulges in when he’s being naughty with snacks. He’ll prefer fruit candies over chocolate but definitely wouldn’t turn any of that down either. Jolly ranchers and gobstoppers, things he can leave in there to nurse over a period of time are nice. Same with lollipops. Blow > Tootsie.

As an aside, because he’d think it’s hilarious- Wylan will make a point to enjoy Hersheys chocolate when he’s in Novoselic, scoffing and turning his nose up at their local specialties just to spite them and get them angry. As if they need MORE reasons to want to punch him!

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

The first time he had to kill someone. I’ve got a mini drabble I wrote of it somewhere in the form of a nightmare. Completely innocent guy that he was forced to pull the trigger on out in the middle of the Nevada desert. More or less the tipping point where Zach started to become Wylan. Loss of that childhood innocence and cresting the peak where he was no longer just a kid doing dirty deeds and now he was a killer.

There was never really any closure for that event. The people who made him do it didn’t get away or anything in the end, but comeuppance wasn’t done by his hand. So one day he was simply free of that binding moment but still turned into the person he was. Of course, by then, he’d killed and done plenty more.

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

Wylan started as a gratuitous edgy self-insert for a forum RP with some friends and my ex. He had DARKNESS powers wore a COOL COAT (still does) (this was the first thing I gave him btw) and was a RAD ARCHER with an EDGY BOW. . . his wit used to be a lot drier and ‘heh, nothing personnel…’ too. Served as a good vent for whatever I was enthusiastic about at the moment. Like any gary stu SI he also had way too many skills and abilities that had no congruence for his own good. Medicine. Alcohol making. All kinds of weapons. He got mashed with tons of anime shit depending on what I was watching at the time. Like giving him alchemy abilities with a special metal he carried on him to make all sorts of weapons after I first watched FMA. That was a thing.

I wrote so many fight RPs it heavily outweighed anything else. It was fun.

And I don’t regret any of it despite how embarrassing it was. By throwing all those things together into his character and chipping away and filing down those rough edges over the years across multiple verses and platforms he came to be the character he is today. The version I play now on tumblr is unrecognizable from how he started and his early years. Would you believe by dissecting Wylan’s amalgamation of backstories and other things I made two distinct OCs? Yeah, that happened. Though I don’t use the other OC anymore.

💗 GROWING HEART - if they have a crush, is it noticable? what changes when they're in love?

It’s not noticeable in the typical sense if you’re looking for the usual tells. Wylan is not the blushy flustery sort in most situations, and is really good at controlling his reactions so prodding questions won’t get him stuttering or giving away how his heart is feeling. There are of course exceptions. But if anything when he’s crushing he seems more frustrated with the person. You’ve seen it with Sonia! Playful and fun personality suddenly becomes more pensive and wary. What sort of magic are you working on me, she devil?! Etc. etc.

Wylan in a crush or when confronted with actual romance can be deflecting and distracting for his own sake. He doesn’t want to fall in love! That’s a problem in several of his verses. A free spirit like him isn’t supposed to be chained particularly with all that nasty baggage. This is when it comes to romantic attraction anyway. Sexual attraction is standard fare Wylan. There isn’t nearly as much to worry about there.

💔 BROKEN HEART - what could their partner do that would absolutely break their heart?

I don’t have anything out of the ordinary to put here. Once Wylan is in love he’s vulnerable to the same things as any other guy. Cheating and lying (keeping secrets is one thing). Dying on him. Betraying him would make him angrier more than it would break his heart.
