working together without bickering or complications hasn't exactly been the strong suit of the odinson brothers. neither has communication, but thor would like to think that there has always been a silent understanding between the brothers. a certain level of respect and comradery. they have fought beside one another for centuries and there have been some extremely close calls. many times they have put their lives on the line for the good of asgard and at their father's bidding but always have they done so together.

when the dust settles on this battlefield in a realm far far from asgard there is a smile on the thunderer's face. he is out of breath and covered in blood with mjolnir gripped in his grasp but they have been VICTORIOUS once again . across the field he sees his brother with the same smug expression with more layers of dirt covering him that he will complain about , surely. what a relief it is every single time a battle is over to see his dear brother and once that distance is closed between them, @silvertongued-trickster presses their foreheads together. thor presses a palm against loki's bicep as he tries to catch his breath. they will need a good rest after this but at least they are together once again.

[ EXHAUSTION ]: having just overcome a massive obstacle (e.g. using a massive display of their powers, fighting through a sizable army, embarking on a perilous journey, writing up a PhD thesis etc.) the sender and receiver reunite, and the sender drops their head forward to rest against the receivers, thoroughly exhausted but glad to be reunited at last. // battle bros ??

THE GOD OF THUNDER is covered in muck and ash by the time he emerges from the ruins of the collapsed building. tossed into it by the enemy causing it to come crumbling down around him. if he were merely human then the life in his chest would have most certainly been snuffed out. not on this day.

with the rest of the team distracting the remnants of the enemy force, tony descends on thor with a look of concern thor is not quite sure he has beared witness to. ❝ hey. . .hey . . . hey . . . ❞ there's room for a quit-witted remark in there somewhere but the god refrains in favor of placing a hand at the back of tony's neck to find that grounding force the moment @ircnmn places their foreheads together. save the wit for another day perhaps. ❝ do not act so surprised. you know as well as i that i am not so easy to kill , ❞ he says with a grin. at least the remark wasn't so testy right?

the idea that there may still be a person inside the body of the infected is a hopeful thing. it doesn't surprise him that lainey might be curious enough or optimistic enough to believe that someone might still inhabit them that possibly cannot fight back against a parasite. for now, they are safe but there are runners lurking in the distance so as long as they are quiet they will be fine. thor hands @herleads a piece of fruit while watching the runners twitch and wander. they may be safe but that doesn't mean he's going to let his guard down. not with his daughter right here. ❝ whoever they were. . . they aren't in there anymore. there's nothing left of the person that used to be there. as much as i wish there was, i don't see how it could be. ❞

Ignoring a person's asks is extremely rude.

what's also really rude is not respecting someone's rules when it says mutuals only. i know exactly who you are and by the end of the day you'll be blocked. imagine following someone. bombarding their notifications instantly with weird questions on anon and dms without ever bothering to say HI . AND THEN continue to demand attention when i ignore you because I'M MUTUAL'S ONLY and you instantly made me uncomfortable. i didn't bother replying cause i never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings and honestly that is my right.

YOU EVEN SAID YOU WOULD RESPECT MY RULES and then continued to keep messaging me. where's the logic??

i don't owe you anything and the entitlement of still demanding it after you unfollowed and then refollowed and bombarded my notifications AGAIN continuing to make me uncomfortable. that was me being NICE by just leaving you there instead of blocking like i was told to do by several people.

i have had problems with people in the past not respecting the boundaries i have for myself and i won't stand for it. especially when this is the return for it. i think it's YOU who needs to reevaluate how you approach people because not everyone is going to act the same. if you had led with hi . how are you or even that message you sent about admiring my character portrayal long after i'd already gotten annoyed might have gotten you anywhere but here.
