✧ ⭒  𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚈𝚃𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶   𝙰𝙱𝙾𝚄𝚃   𝙷𝙸𝙼   𝚄𝙽𝚂𝙴𝚃𝚃𝙻𝙴𝙳   anyone  with  an  ounce  of  strong  intuition.     Even  so,     his  charisma  made  it  hard  to  notice  unless  one  was  putting  him  under  the  microscope,     of  which  Silas  made  into  a  habit.      Anyone  who  stepped  foot  onto  the  Violet  Crystal  compound  would  𝘏𝘈𝘝𝘌  to  endure  that  scrutinizing  gaze  to  ensure  they  were  the  real  deal  and  not  some  faux - zealot  looking  to  hitch  a  ride  on  Silas’  coattails.     From  day  one  this  𝙹𝙴𝙳   𝙾𝙻𝚂𝙴𝙽  gave  him  a  sinking  feeling  in  his  stomach;     And  Silas  didn’t  like  it,     but  would  keep  up  appearances  regardless.      It  was  those  strange  little  sentiments  he  would  come  out  with,     it  was  in  the  way  he  seemed  to  lack  respect  for  where  he  could  or  couldn’t  be,     like  he  quietly  expected  𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘊𝘐𝘈𝘓  treatment  for  simply  knowing  his  stuff.      Still,    Jed  was  tactful,     that  was  undeniable  yet  somehow  that  irked  Silas  even  more.

Forcing  a  smile  as  though  judgement  wasn’t  simultaneously  being  passed  on  the  other  Silas  took  his  remark  into  consideration.     It  was  true  enough,    but  his  𝘐𝘕𝘍𝘓𝘌𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕  made  the  pastor  flinch  internally.     He  just  couldn’t  put  his  finger  on  it   ―  Not  yet,    anyway.      Silas  crossed  his  legs,     tailored  suit  moving  with  him.      ❛ That’s  true.     Heck,    I  took  risks  by  building  this  community  up  from  the  ground.      Everything  we’ve  made,      everything  I  teach,     even  if  the  foundation  was  there  ‘n  all,     I  took  𝘚𝘌𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘈𝘓  risks  in  augmenting  that  foundation  into  somethin’  bigger  ‘n  better. ❜     Short  silence  and  a  strong  stare.      ❛ What  about  you?      What  risks  have  you  posed  in  your  life?     A  wayfarer  like  yourself  .  .  .  I  bet  there’s  a  lot  you  ain’t  tellin’. ❜
