She takes a second, crossing her arms before letting out a quiet puff. Focus moving from the woman to the art piece.

"You don't travel here much."

Dorothy admittedly suspects that she likely travels around a lot for inspiration. She wasn't especially well versed in art, but she suspected sitting in one place wasn't likely to be super helpful for finding a muse.

WITH HOW SAFE Sanctuary had become since the reformation of the Minutemen's ranks & boot camps, Dorothy found that most days she and her siblings were here unless their parents went back to the Castle. Rose had always said it was for the best, but Dorothy found herself occasionally wondering what the outside world might look like.

"...So I am surprised is all. I take it you've got business here or...are maybe looking for more inspiration in town?"

She offers a small grin as she pokes her head around the corner. It's her first real visit to the Castle, and given that Rose had been pestering their dad about ACTUALLY enlisting, Dorothy herself had decided to at least give it a shot if nothing else.

"Oh no––"

SHE PAUSES, seeing Eliana seated seemingly uncomfortably in the infirmary as she approaches, a small frown on her face.

"Are you ok Aunt El? What happened?"

Jamie's kids ( rose, dorothy, adam, wes, and roxie ) all have some ties to the Minutemen, EVEN if they don't fully join.

Rose, Dorothy & Adam do all enlist, with Rose winding up as a Lieutenant relatively quickly, Dorothy enlisting as a nurse, and Adam as a weaponsmith.

Roxie & Wes, while not enlisting directly, do actually contribute by Roxie performing across a couple of the Minutemen's settlements, and Wes being a sort of traveling merchant who uses his scavenging to help whatever Minutemen he comes across

"How did you and dad meet?"

It occurs to her that she has no real idea how her parents met ( she wonders if she's the first one to ask, but she's quick to dismiss that thought considering it didn't really matter ). She eyes Jax expectantly, hoping he'll humor the question.

"I've been trying to play up scenarios in my head, but none of them feel right...and I figured I'd ask rather than daydream about it."
