Another pair of wings joined the pile. Cleaned, marrow sucked and chewed dry. Broken bones littered one of the many... many plates before her. "Excuse me," she exhaled, gaining the attention of the closest waitress. Taking a napkin and wiping her saliva cleaned fingers. "May I have some water?"

Instead of acknowledging her request, however, the waitress turned back to the table she was hovering over. Malaika leaned back on her chair. A small restaurant far from her own, in another country. Perhaps it was rude in this country to call on the wait staff. Once more, she raised her hand, her accent heavy in broken Japanese. "Excuse me, drink, please."

“You can slow down, dear. There’s more coming.” There was always more where that came from. The kitchen was always at its busiest when guests came around but this was ridiculous. Lesser demons worked hard to carry dishes in and out of the dining room as the chef and master of the house looked on proudly. 

Only another being with a bottomless appetite can feed a demon with the same affliction. Only Gluttony can feed Gluttony ‘properly’. “No biting cutlery~” Malaika chided as a mother should when bad table manners are displayed. 

“If I hear it again, I’ll stop feeding you.”

 Sloth has been dumped, again, by another lover that has lasted less than a month. He is a sobbing mess being comforted by Queen whilst Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Diamond and Heart watch his theatrics with expressions ranging from mild amusement to boredom. 

GREED : ... May I give you a piece or advice so that you may enjoy a more lasting relationship? Perhaps you should focus on yourself rather than searching for someone else to– 

SLOTH : I don't wanna hear tha' from the one guy tha' can't keep a wife! In fact, none o' you have any right t' judge me! 

SLOTH, pointing to Lust: you like actin' like your hot shit bu' you barely love yourself an' you actively sabotage your own chances at relationships by proclaimin' you're above it all. Grow up an' touch some grass. 

SLOTH, pointing to Gluttony: fix your underlyin' fear o' losin' loved ones! You suffocate other people wit’ your version o’ ‘love’ bu’ it’s just smotherin’. Your husband died over 20 years ago. Move on an’ quit pushin' your fears onto your son! An' speakin' of- 

SLOTH, pointing to Heart: you need t' stand up for yourself for once instead o' lettin your mamma's trauma dictate whether or not you experience love. You’re too scared t’ get into a relationship jus’ like your mom. You’re a fuckin’ coward.

SLOTH, pointing to Envy: you're so obsessed wit' how people perceive you tha' you manage to push everyone tha' ever cared about you away! Look a’ what y’ did t’ half of your clan. You got rid of the one man tha’ considered you a daughter an’ took you in an’ usurped him like the snake you are an’ eventually, you’ll get the same. No one loves you ‘cause you ripped all tha’ away yourself.

SLOTH, pointing to Diamond: you're fuckin' insufferable. Not ‘cause you wanna be the ‘best idol uwu’. Not ‘cause you act all fake while backstabbin’ your peers like a two faced bitch. ‘s ‘cause you wanna be adored, not loved, you don't even know what love is. You think people worshipin' you is love an' by the time you discover it’s all empty words, you'll have nothin'!
