“Stella, hurry up already.” Eva muttered under her breath, having changed into a pair of cotton shorts and a tank top while she waited for the other. The woman let out a loud sigh, finding her way over to the couch to sit down. “I’m about to start without you!” The older woman called out, reaching for a blunt that was laid on her coffee table, as well as a lighter as she hoped her words would make Stella finish whatever she was doing.

       her  eyes  glisten  with  tears,  eva  quick  to  look  away  from  him.  she  does  not  feel  like  she  deserves  any  of  this.  not  gio’s  kindness  or  his  attention,  much  less  his  comfort.  but  it  is  what  she  craves.  his  arms  around  her  so  she  can  feel  like  she  is  home.  ❝  fidati,  è  vero.  ❞  she  mumbles,  sniffling  quietly  as  her  eyes  seek  his  again.  ❝  he’s  cheating  on  me.  silvia  got  proof.  ❞

“Stellaaaa.” Eva sung out softly as she headed to the bedroom after getting herself ready for bed. She plopped down onto the bed and groaned. “Today was such a pain.”

“I figured this was the best costume I could go with. I couldn’t go as a sexy librarian because I’m always that.” Eva grinned as she pressed a soft kiss to Stella’s cheek. “Do you wanna do the haunted house tonight?”

      shy  smile  graces  delicate  lips,  slow  steps  taking  her  closer  to  him.  she  is  still  in  silence  as  she  sits  down  by  his  side,  fingers  brushing  away  loose  strands  of  hair.  it  should  not  be  so  awkward  to  talk  to  him,  but  it  is.  ❝  you  look  happy  today,  marti.  ❞  she  whispers  quietly,  the  eva  version  of  a  white  flag.

“Oh c’mon, I love this song!” Eva grinned, her hands resting on Stella’s waist as she pulled the other close. With the tune of the song, she moved slowly with the other, a smile plastered on her face. There’s a moment where Eva hums a bit to the song playing before she pulled the other beta even closer. “See, it’s not that weird to slow dance in an apartment.”

“Alright, I need to get back to work. I’ll see you later, yeah?” Mint smiled as he squeezed Thorn’s hand gently. He began to move in to kiss his boyfriend, but stopped when he heard the bell on the door jingle. He looked back towards the source of the noise, a blush growing on his cheeks as he greeted the customer from afar. Once the new customer was out of sight, Mint sighed in relief.
