Is this a block for people generating AI art only, or is stuff like reblogging it also at risk of a block. It's your rules, but I want to know how strict you are about it.

it's mostly for generating AI art, true. i don't know if people who reblog AI art know that it's AI art, or if they are aware of the harms AI-generated art ( be it art or writing ) does.

that being said, IF YOU REBLOG TOO MUCH OF IT I'LL HAVE TO BLOCK NONETHELESS. if you're not aware of what AI art does, please educate yourselves ! if you want, you can take a look at this article, this one (ai stealing art), and this one ( ai stealing jobs ). be aware that a lot if not all ai-generating websites actively ressource their """work""" from ACTUAL ART MADE BY ARTISTS that NEVER AGREED to have their work ripped off. an example of this is artstation: people simply put "artstation" as a key word in their generator, and the bot will pick from there.

i understand the curiousity, i understand ""not having the skills"". there are many artists out there with affordable commissions, or, you can simply pick up a pencil like a lot of other people did. worst case scenario, look at the thousands of fanarts and possible faceclaims out there and take your pick !

you cannot enjoy art and decide you want some for yourself while going against the work of thousands of artists and disrespecting them by pushing the norm that their hard work doesn't matter. and if that doesn't mean anything to you, know that i, personally, will respect you less and will see you as someone with no integrity nor respect for me.
