announcement! charli goes on vacay!

starting july 28th - aug 6th , i will be down in the florida keys doing some fishing ! specifically islamorada for a very much needed vacation ( spa , fishing , just . . me time ya know ) which means , activity will be here and there. my blog will be running off queue quite a bit but i will be around during the evenings somewhat. i really need this vacation tbh after a rocky half of the year and it gives me some time to chill and just ya know , get away. i will still be available to rp on discord and wire!

𖤐 ⸻ SHE DIDN'T BUY IT AT FIRST. not from someone on the other side of the tracks . outside of select few shadysiders , most of them didn't give two shits about the blonde. it's why she chose to sneak off from the groups and have a moment . emotions ran high . including her own. and so maybe she was mad about a few things. and the only way she could get that out was to cry and skip rocks over the lake. what she didn't expect was ziggy to be there. and she snapped at the redhead. which caroline instantly regretted. eyes glanced down as she kept a distance from the redhead. " i'm sorry for snapping at you." caroline replied. " just not use to someone being nice to me like that. "

OTHER ARCH-SIBLINGS ,

when it comes to azrael's relationship with her fellow archangel siblings, she's the closest to gabriel. raphael : she is a bit more distant towards simply because of how serious he can be and he wasn't one of the siblings she spent the most time around. lucifer: she adored him so very much before his fall. and at one point prior to his fall, they were close. even after everything, she adores him but over the years, she has grown more of a fear towards him. finding herself a bit hesitant in his presence. because he can simply end her with a snap of his fingers. michael : azrael respects him. there's always a constant look of admiration from her when he's present ( i mean hello!? it's michael!! who wouldn't be in total awh of him? ). gabriel : basically the one archangel she has the most respect for in a constant manner. gabriel was the one who took care of her when she was younger. the one who taught her all the tricks lucifer taught him. she spent a lot more time with gabriel ( alongside of balthazar as well ) out of every sibling she has. though with him leaving heaven, she was upset but completely understanding of it unlike the others.

𖤐 ⸻  SHE TRIED BITING BACK A SMILE AND BLUSH AT HIS COMPLIMENT OVER HER NAME . and she failed at it . " thanks . i was named after my great grandmother . " the blonde replied .  perhaps asking how long he'd been a vampire wasn't the most respectful question. but her interests were peaked.  caroline took a seat across from him and listened . " wait . . . you're -- an alpha ? " eyebrows raised . " that's . . . actually cool . i've only been one for  . . let's see, about 20 years. " 

ㅤㅤ❛ caroline, ❜ he echoed, dimples digging into his cheeks as a slow smirk pulled at his lips. ❛ that is a lovely name. ❜ he considered the question, unable to truly calculate his age beyond very old. ❛ from the beginning, though i would be unable to give you an exact number. time hasn't always been recorded so accurately, and i have lost track after so many millennia. it would be fair to say i am old as dirt, however, ❜ he added, obvious mirth twinkling in his ocean gaze.

𖤐 ⸻ SHE HATED HERSELF FOR HURTING HIM. for hurting anyone in general. and allowing herself to do the worst . turning her humanity off . crazy how the regret  and pain hit her all at once , the moment that switch flipped back on .  and here he was . not holding a single thing she'd done against her . caroline had lost control of herself . and that was another thing she hated she had done .  her eyes lingered on him , bloodshot from the crying. " yeah -- yeah i did . " because the regret of  hurting him was right up there with the pain she felt for the loss of her mother .   her eyes closed as she felt his lips against her forehead . " i'm so so sorry. " caroline whispered , hands reaching to rest on his chest . " yeah , i do . you and everyone else i've hurt. " she looked back up at him as he took her hand and the blood she offered . " there's no fixing this, is there? i mean the damage . " 

Nick shook his head a bit, though his gaze on her was still soft. She could have hurt him far worse and he still would have looked at his wife as if she hung the stars. Because for him, she did. She hung every single one by hand and placed them exactly where she wished them to be. It was just how the world worked, according to him. “You didn’t hurt me.” He replied, though he wasn’t really considering the broken arm as hurting him. Physical hurts had remedies. Mental hurts were harder to fix. That’s what Caroline was living through right now, and he knew how hard she was taking it. “Hey. Shh. It’s okay. I’m good.” He gave her a crooked little smile and leaned in to kiss her forehead, ignoring the offer for her blood for the moment. “And you never have to apologize to me.” He promised before taking her hand and the offered blood in turn.
