Jo wasn't surprised to hear the other speak up on that, another chuckle leaving him as arms crossed over his chest. "I can do that, I'd be happy to. I know what it is like to have them attack you with little to nothing to back it up outside of the best effort on the pitch." He'd experienced it far too often in the past to know how that felt. "The media, in the end, are just someone you have to ignore. They look for anything to bother you." A shrug leaves the midfielder. "It is what I do, they love to make up anything to get to you."
Xander hated it when people did ruin it for others and took it too far. He noticed the other's eyebrow raise and then chuckle. He gave him a look. "I should have known you would say that." He laughed. "Can you tell the media that, please? I seem to keep hearing that when I don't score in a game, its because I am declining with how I play." He said. Xander didn't really let what was written about him et to him. But he couldn't understand how they were saying this when he was doing really well.

Jo knew he could lean on the other's shoulders, the man was family to him and that was even before he started seeing Davina. If anything, they had gotten closer which wasn't something the blond thought would be possible. What he was thankful for, however, was that the nature of their relationship hadn't changed. Then again, why would it? He had helped push him to take that step with his cousin and now here they were. It was the one positive he could say about this season so far, finding her. Everything else felt like it had been staked against him from the moment the new coach was hired. Jo knew he didn't like him from the beginning, not that he could figure out why. As far as he knew, he had been doing everything right but that man was dead set on throwing Jo under the bus every chance he got despite some of his better games. Of course he hadn't been in his best form either, but he could account for the mismanagement of him and his talent as well. It was all a mess. Thankfully he had people in his corner that mattered more to him. And that was something he greatly appreciated, trying to show it in his own way at the same time. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea. I will take you up on that." He says with a small nod of his head and a smile to accompany it. "I do want to improve, always. It's why I am practicing on my own too. Since he wants me at right back then I need to brush up on that." He shrugs, knowing the other understood doing what was needed. He often did in games and Jo fully trusted the keeper to make those calls despite what others outside thought. A chuckle left him as he once more nodded in agreement. "No I know, you're the only one I trust to do that. You invented it after all." It was true, it was something Jo had watched when he was younger even before joining the club. "Even if sometimes it makes my heart stop just a little bit." A small tease with a nudge. "But I know you can read those situations without issue. Most of the time."
he loved the team – loved the game. despite the rough moments , he did what he could to help sooth those moments out. that was one thing that made him good at being captain. along with his smart decision making and other leadership qualities. and he knew that most on the team looked up to him as a mentor. jo being one of them. as well as a brother figure. he adored the midfielder maybe a bit more than most of the others on the team. but that was also because of how much time they were around one another and the fact that now , he was soon to be apart of his actual family. especially since he was dating Davina. that already made him that though. jo hadn't had a great season. it wasn't just season wise but – also the criticism he continuously got. Alex had been there but maybe not as bad as jo. but there was a time when it got leaked to the media that he was signing with Bayern – the fans hated him. at least until they saw him in their own goal and Bayern had won. jo getting thrown under the bus by their current coach though – that was another story he hadn't been through. but seeing his friend and teammate having to deal with it , made him want to speak up more. ❝ great then. i'll even grill. and – you can get some time with vee. after though. ❞ the goalkeeper grinned. he meant his words though. ❝ no need to thank me. you know i'm honest and I know you're not the giving up type. we'll work on things. there is always room for improvement. ❞ on the topic of risky , Alex was notarious for it. and sometimes that landed him in hot water after the game – when it came to lockerroom speeches. however , it was just his thing. something he'd always done. and he wasn't planning on stopping now. a laugh came from him before he shrugged. ❝ let's be honest , no one could pull what I do off. period. they try but – it doesn't work well. ❞

There were so many reasons he found himself falling more and more in love with her. The way she was so determined and dedicated while being caring and positive, there was no one else like her. She was with him through the ups and downs of this season and this was a season that was filled with that more than any other since he joined Bayern. Sure, he's had his dark moments and that was more with the national team rather than Bayern, but now he had her here with him to help with Bayern now. This trip was just another way for the two to remain close, be there for one another as they worked at their job. But of course they also couldn't help but give into personal temptations as well. It was team building but it also didn't just have to be with his teammates but with her as well. It was how he currently found himself now in her room with what little free time the two had before dinner was to be served with the whole time. If they arrived a little behind schedule then so be it, because right now it couldn't be helped and the way both looked was not how they would like to be in front of other people. They had an hour, maybe a little more and he knew the both of them were of the same mindset that the time would be taken for them to enjoy one another and to be ready in time before they got in trouble. However, right now, he couldn't help but be focused solely on her and her needs. It was no doubt obvious in how he kept her close, lips claimed over and over as he pressed against her.
Jo was more than happy the two found themselves here and now. After the want to take things slow, the desire to learn one another and not go beyond that until the time was right, all of it had been worth it. All in all, it only made every intimate moment between them seem more and more. His smile was genuine, these acts done for pleasure but more importantly because they loved one another. It was obvious in the way he looked at her, the smile that pulled at his lips before a low moan left him as he felt her take him in. This felt perfect, every single time it felt perfect. This was where they were meant to be "You always do, Schatz." He says in a breathy response, letting her finish her adjustment before beginning to move. After waiting for as long as they had, finally getting to be with one another after a few days then this was heaven and he needed to make up for lost time. His movements not doubt showed her that, the more he thrust in and out of her. His pace ever increasing as time went on, the fingers digging into his skin along with her words told him enough. Clearly he was getting the message nad had no signs of stopping, instead only moving harder and faster. Lips found her's again, the two as close as they could be while enjoying how they felt pressed together. He wasn't sure how long they had been spending their time in the sheets of her hotel bed before he feels her tighten around him. His own curse leaving his lips as she bites into his shoulder. Jo knew what that meant and it didn't stop him from moving, instead thrusting and moving through her orgasm. "I had no intentions of stopping." He mumbles against her lips when she frees herself from his shoulder. A mark he his teammates would no doubt comment during this little team trip. However, he knew he was close but he wasn't going to stop until he had her cum again and only then would he finish.
she still had quite a ways to go when it came to learning German and the culture there but she was learning quick. which , it also helped to have others there , teaching her and introducing her to things. that included the team. she was basically their sister for the most part. and the majority of them treated her that way. it didn't take her long to warm up to nearly all the players. and then there was schooling – she had learned to balance that and working with the team. something that seemed to be very respected. Davina found herself wanting to constantly be around joshua. and that even meant those times when he was low. after all , they'd became official at this point and she made a promise to him that no matter what , she would be there for him. supporting him. aware of how busy he'd be , she wasn't going to shy away from moments like this. time together a bit on the tighter side and she was so understanding of that. after all, this trip was for team building. but that didn't mean they couldn't steal an hour or two away just to cater to what each other desired. in this case , each other. and the way their lips claimed to one another's in a heated manner only meant one thing – the next hour in a half would be spent making each other feel good.
funny how all of this started off – slowly and how insecure she was to allow herself to be completely naked the first time they messed around. and here she was , completely comfortable. as he was with her. feeling herself stretch around him , she couldn't help but purse her lips and let a hum vibrate her throat. the feeling never got old – it was one that always felt as if it was a relief. lips forming into a grin and she let out a small chuckle at the sound of his whispered curse. ❝ I feel that good , huh? ❞ she knew the answer but hearing him actually say it – even more of a confidence boost for her. after a moment , she noticed the smirk forming and the harshness of his thrust into her caused her to whimper. most certainly , setting the mood for how all of this would go. and she was looking forward to it all. finger nails gently digging into his shoulders before feeling him move slower . ❝ I know – then take advantage of what time we do have , baby . ❞ she breathed before feeling him thrust harsh once again. legs tightening around his waist, wanting to feel every inch of him. lips met his before her hands moved from his shoulders , and gripped the sheets beneath them. each thrust , bringing out moans , gasps and labored breathing against his lips before she felt herself caving – walls tightening around his cock . ❝ j--josh . . . . holy fuck ! ❞ kiss broke before she leaned forward , biting down a bit on his shoulder as her arousal let loose. both a wave of pleasure and relief. however , she didn't want him to stop – eyes locked onto his before lips met his again , feeling him continue thrusting into her fast . ❝ fuck , you feel so incredible. keep going , baby . . . ❞ the urge to start moaning his name – growing each second and it was hard not to do so – to not scream , instead she moaned more against his lips feeling herself wanting to cum for him again.

It was true, the two didn't hang around one another as often as they no doubt would like but there was a good reason for that. At least in his mind there was, even if he knew it wasn't something he should use for much longer to keep the two friends apart. Sure him having a girlfriend now meant that time had to be split but that wasn't going to stop them from hanging out. It was jut right now he had been bad at spending time outside of her with others. Jo was just glad the other wasn't mad at him for it. He knew Davina would understand if he took a knight to hang out with his friends, there was no worry there, but the two just had a hard time not being caught up in one another most of the time. Now, however, he would try his best to make time for more things. "He's been a legend. He is, I'm just glad we got to play with and know him." But that would be enough talking up Alex for now in his mind, no doubt his ears were ringing by the two's conversation already. But he was happy to hear the other wasn't actually upset with him, even if he felt a little guilty. "No I know, but still. I can't forget about you guys too. I'm working on how to balance both again." He shrugs though what else he says registers in the mind of the midfielder, causing him to give a small shove to the larger figure.
"Hey be careful there." Jo chuckles as he shakes his head. "But thanks, I mean we want it to work. I am not questioning any of it so I'd say we are safe on that." It was nice actually being happy in his personal life for once as of late. Ever since his last engagement ended, Jo hadn't really been of the positive attitude when it came to him but tried his best to leave it away from the pitch. "Wait you heard them talking? So you knew too? Was that before everything between Vee and me?" Trying to get everything together was like putting a puzzle piece into place with each piece of information. How many people knew that the two had feelings for one another before he even made a move? Jo hadn't thought he was that obvious or at least it hadn't been in general. A hand lifts to run through short blond hair. "So most of you were in on this plan." His head shakes finding it unbelievable that so many would be in on this without even accidentally letting a word slip to him. Arms moved to cross over his chest as he looked at Nik and then away as he lets out a huff. "Well, nice to know it was that obvious to everyone." It's a weak smile but it was there nonetheless. "Well, at least it all worked out." It's half mumbled with a small chuckle. "But thank you, honestly. I mean that's the goal right? Dating to marry and so far I can see that. And of course you would be, who else??"
@diemauer
he missed how much the two of them use to hang around but nik understood. Jo had someone now. someone who made him so very happy and that made the other midfielder happy for him. he deserved that. after everything he'd been through the last year – on top of a season that seemed to be a let down. regardless, the two of them would have a guy's night sometime. and nik wanted to make sure Jo knew not to feel bad for spending less time with him. ❝ damn right. very lucky. he's already a legend . the guy is all class on and off the pitch. ❞ nik replied before shooting the other a playful glare in return. ❝ i'm kidding, Jo. take all the time you need with one another. that helps with the getting to know one another process. not to mention, the suspense of certain wonders? ja – you two are being smart on that. don't wanna rush into all that and it not work. which , by the way – judging by the way you've been lately, I can see it working out for sure. ❞ he couldn't help but point out how much more livelier Joshua had been and how the midfielder seemed far less down when it came to romantic topics. a laugh came from him as Jo shoved him a little. ❝ holy fuck, really? that explains things though. I know he shut a guy out a few weeks ago , out for trying to get him to talk to Davina for him. which had me and king a bit confused. we didn't know though. not until like a week later. when Ansel and him were talking. we overheard a bit. ❞ he couldn't help but grin, shoving him in return. ❝ figured I wouldn't question you about it until you brought it up and all. but ja, it worked out perfectly then. you like her , she likes you. ❞ nik couldn't help but hope one day, he'd have something like what his friend and vee had. for now though, his attention was on trying to improve considering this season was just not too kind to him. an eyebrow raised towards the other before he folded his arms over his chest. ❝ jealousy and women in bikinis will do that to someone. trust me, it was very noticed by some of the other guys at alex's party. and oktoberfest? Bambi pointed it out quick. he hasn't recalled seeing you look at someone the way you looked at her. ❞ he chuckled. ❝ but seriously, bruder. I am so happy for you and her. you deserve that happiness. if there ends up being wedding bells in the future, I better be a groomsman. ❞

Jo wasn't sure what the two did to get on the bad side of their coach, at least on Jo's end it was even before the coach even got here. Now the other was experiencing it with him and Jo hated that for Lucas. Both of them had the shit end of the stick for far too long and for no reason in the mind of the midfielder. Both of them were of a high skill, one that should be respected and used and yet their coach never saw that. He wanted all of them to adapt to the play style he had in mind and not the one that truly fit the Bayern style. He could only hope that whatever new coach that came in would be one to restore that very essence that they once had because it hasn't been around for over a year. It did bring a lighter mood, however, knowing that man would be leaving them when all was said and done. He hadn't even thought about how his words could be misinterpreted to his relationship when he spoke them, having mainly meant them for that purpose on the coach. It was just another reason why Jo was quick to correct, to fix the wording in a sense to clear up the true intended meaning. Though he did appreciate the other's words and support, it brought out a small smile to the blond. "Thanks, I mean we are glad to know how much everyone supports us." He chuckled a bit as he continued. "It was definitely not expected but it is appreciated." It was also nice, being able to have these conversations without so much of a worry or complaint. Sure there were some here and there but it was growing less now that they would be free at the end of the season. "I'm making sure, alright?" He gives a soft smile as hand falls from his back and returns to his side. "Who knows, but let them know you want to stay if that is something you do want." It was the best advice he could give in the moment. "Always communicate with them. And for now, we will both work towards a start, yeah?"
it sucked – that two of the best players on the team were getting the shit end of the stick when it came to starting and treatment. Lucas hadn't done anything to deserve this shit – nor had Jo. but obviously, the coach had his favorites and it wasn't ignored. with them being on the bench , it was obvious as to the fact that they weren't like. and neither could understand it. which after the news of the coach leaving at the end of the season came as more of a relief to them both. no more locker room division. no more shitty seasons. he had at least hoped. both of the missed their old style of playing and this way that the coach had them playing was just not at all working for anyone. he never would show any disrespect towards Jo and Davina. after all, him and Davina were good friends. hell, he supported the two. and were one of the first to say “finally” when they became official. ❝ good because – I wouldn't. you two have a good thing going on. and I support it. ❞ Lucas replied , grinning as Jo gave him a clap on the back. ❝ ja, i'm good. promise. and I know – let's see if they actually live up to it. I feel like – they want to though. they have been a bit cold towards me. I don't recall doing or saying anything to make them that way. ❞ at least he hoped he hadn't. he was abit stressed over the situation, honestly. giving Jo a nod , he looked around the field. ❝ I will do my best. we both deserve to start. ❞

There's a nod as he walks forward, half leading the way while making sure the other wasn't too far off as they walked.The nudge, however, made the German let out a laugh as he kept walking. Jaime was clearly looking forward to it and honestly Jo couldn't blame him at all. "Ja, each room is different so whatever you want to listen to or dance to I guess." He looks over at the other, his own grin growing. Somehow the other's excitement was infectious. "Nein, which ever you want to go to will be fine. I've been plenty of times so I'll let you decide. Do you have a preference? Club or electronic I guess, techno, hip hop, or just party hits?"
"I insist," Jamie doubles down. He's good at keeping a level head. And it's just clubbing, Jamie fucking loves clubbing, he's been to Ibiza a handful of times, he's sure he'll be fine. Jamie nudges Jo's arm with his own, his eyes bright with excitement. "Different DJs, I'm guessing?" he says without the context of the fact that he's asking what makes the rooms different. Jo'll catch on. He follows at Jo's side, refusing to fall behind him even if he doesn't know exactly where he's going. "D'you have any preference about the rooms?"

"Fingers crossed for sure." Jo finds himself saying, though he knew it was better to just let people talk and ignore it. That was his tactic and it was also why he was barely on social media to begin with. "...You didn't think we said that here or know what it is?" His brow furrowed a bit as head tilted to the side. He lets it slide for a moment to answer his next question with a shrug. "Do you mean professionally, in general, or with Bayern?" He asks. "Because I've been with Bayern since 2015 but I've been playing since I was a little kid. Yourself?"
“Yeah, I hope so. Fingers crossed.” For a moment a smile crosses his face, but it’s quickly replaced by an expression of mild confusion. “Is that still a saying here?” Maybe it isn’t and this guy has no idea why he just said that. Why do they say fingers crossed? It’s not like crossing your fingers actually does anything. That’s not the point. They have other things to talk about. “So, how long have you been playing?”

His brow arches but the smile doesn't fade, he was in too good of a mood. Mainly because he really did miss being on the pitch and in his comeback he had an actual good game. It had come together, in his mind anyway. Besides, he knew there was no insult there. This was just how their friendship went. "Natürlich. It is written all over your face." A tease of his own. "Ja, I didn't think they did." This time a small chuckle leaves him before he shrugs. "Just a bit, that and since I'm in such a good mood because of my play. It just all came out."
“Oh yeah, couldn’t you tell? I’m ecstatic,” she says dryly, with an equally bland expression to match. Even if she’s friends with him, a good game for Bayern means a harder time for Dortmund, after all. She can’t start rooting against her favorite team’s interests. But between them, personally, there’s no hard feelings. A smile crosses her face. “Well, the lyrics didn’t help. What, was the song so stuck in your head that the words just fell out of your mouth?”

Alex was a mentor to everyone, something that the entire team was thankful for because there was a wealth of knowledge and experience there that could be taken advantage of at any given time. It was something Jo used as often as he could considering he saw the other as a mentor and older brother. This was something Jo would be forever grateful for, even when he was down he could count on Alex to be there for him. That included now when he was going through several things of his own, the criticism from outside voices being the worst. No one was perfect, everyone had bad games and missteps no matter how hard they tried. It couldn't be helped and yet they had to pick it all up and learn how to do better the next day. It wasn't easy being a footballer but Jo wasn't going to trade that life for anything. Even if right now it seemed Jo couldn't do anything right in the eyes of the media or fans. He knew there were some out there but they were nearly drowned out. The blond just had to do better at ignoring them than before. It would have been easier to handle if he had some backup but it only fell to Alex, both only could do so much in the end. It had to fall to ignoring it over all, but he appreciated how Alex was there for him. Still, he was surprised at the offer. Jo's brow furrowed a moment before nodding as how could he turn down the chance? "Yeah, yeah, I'll be there." It was once more just another example of how kind and how much of a leader Alex was. His smile grew just a bit bigger at the kind words, no doubt the taller figure knowing how much that meant to him in the moment. "Thank you, that means a lot. If I did give up, I know I wouldn't be here." His head turned, looking over at him now after the small shove given. "I know you do, it gives us a heart attack sometimes, bruder." He was serious about that. "But unlike other goalkeepers, I trust you still when you do that."
@diemauer
the goalkeeper would never give a teammate criticism for no reason. and most of the team who knew how he was, knew that already. Alex was one of the players who had been on the pitch the longest. which made him fairly knowledgeable when it came to the game. that didn't mean though that he didn't have his fuck ups. those happened. he wasn't perfect and sometimes he received criticism for it as well. it only made him want to correct whatever it was that he messed up. strive harder and become better. Jo took things a bit harder that he did though when it came to criticism. but often, with good reason. lately it seemed that he got nothing but that. and Alex was rather annoyed by it. simply because he hadn't done really anything at all to deserve it. sure, this hadn't been his best season but it also hasn't been anyone on the team's best season. and something else the goalkeeper noticed was the fact that no one seemed to defend the midfielder outside of him. he couldn't quite understand it. seeing his friend and teammate constantly get thrown under the bus was exhausting. and no matter what, Alex made sure to constantly take up for him each chance he was able to. Alex frowned a bit towards the other, knowing he wasn't being honest. still, he wasn't going to push that. ❝ you will be. for now , we can work on things. how about this weekend sometime, you swing by? ❞ he asked, shooting him a soft smile. no doubt about it, Jo was one of the most determined players on the team. and his hard work often paid off. a small chuckle came from alex once again. ❝ you're right but that's why I don't doubt you , bruder. you never give up. ❞ and he meant that. he never doubted the other. he knew that Joshua would get better due to how hungry he was. ❝ I can't make any promises but we'll see. i'll keep my faith. ❞ Alex laughed as the other shoved him playfully. ❝ insane huh? I get that a lot. but hey , I enjoy it. sometimes I like to play the risky game. ❞

It felt natural, being by her side. Time spent with her was never a chore but something he thoroughly looked forward to doing. It was why he was always excited thinking of where to take her, what to do, what to show her. This had been one of the top ones, seeing as he wasn't with her at the time of Oktoberfest. This was tied up there for him for favorite time of the year and he was more than ready to show her why. Even if everything already felt so natural with her, he couldn't help the way his heart hammered away in his chest when they spent time together. Maybe it was because he wanted everything to go perfectly for her, no mistakes, and that she enjoyed it all. Of course the dates were planned with that in mind, but he couldn't control everything. All Jo knew for sure was, he didn't want to mess anything up with her. Not when he felt this level of connection with someone, more than he had with his previous fiancée. There's a chuckle that leaves the midfielder as he nods, knowing what Davina meant because in a way he was experiencing it too. "Yeah, but that's how he shows he cares. I'd like to think since we both experience it with him." Jo replies, his smile remaining as he showed this wasn't something she was alone in. Hell, everything he told her had been done so with honesty. The last several months, even before the real dating took place, had been the truth. Nothing had been hidden from her. The kiss only caused his smile to grow more, something he didn't think possible but always managed to do with him. "Oh a year?" He teased a bit, squeezing her hand. "I believe I will." She wasn't the only one who saw this long term.
"Of course you're still learning you've only been here not even half a year." He replied, wanting to show there was no pressure. This was her life and a new huge adjustment on top of it. He didn't expect her to know everything right away. Besides, he was more than happy to answer her questions when she asked. This might be one of the easier things to show her that was tradition outside of what she already saw earlier in the year. Tourists came from that and this and now this would just be something that was a part of her home to enjoy at her leisure. Well, and with him. This didn't have to be their only stop at the market. That and there were others they could go to on different days. "Davina." He turns his head to look at her more. "You don't have to be nervous, you've spent a good amount of time with me. It's okay." He says with a warm smile, ironic how he couldn't listen to himself. If anything he wanted to see her relax and he knew as the night went on that she would. She'd settle in, find her comfort and groove as they moved about the market and had food and drink. And it was why he was letting her dictate where and what they got first as they got closer. "Currywurst? Yeah sure, I don't see why not. And I can't blame you, it's very good." He chuckled with a nod as they kept walking. "Ja, it is why I'm not worried about time. We can do what we want here, enjoy it, take our time and do what interests you." Finally the doors to the train opened the two were able to make their exit as children ran by, him taking her hand to move through it all until they got up the stairs and to the market itself. Thankfully, it wasn't at all far, if anything it was right next to it.
"Of course I do, who wouldn't?" He answers, as if it is obvious. "Oh..me? I mean food, drink, some of the games are fun." Jo shrugs. "The little shops are cute. I just enjoy the feeling over all I think." He leads her out of the station and moves a bit to the side so she could take in the cool air and the view of the tree with lights on all the vendors set up. "Well, was it what you imagined?"
being happy about him didn't even begin to cover how she really felt about him. sure she was very happy but also , excited. and for once felt desired. every moment with the midfielder , she found herself never wanting to be away from him. and wanting to experience everything with him. he made things fun and made her smile every step of the way. marriage was certainly crossing her mind already. though, that was something she didn't want to bring up. not yet anyways. out of the fear of making him uncomfortable. she wasn't fully sure if that was something he wanted. sure, they knew how bad they wanted one another but marriage was a huge step. and from what she gathered , majority of men cringed at that sort of talk. especially this early into a relationship. she smiled as he spoke before letting out a small laugh. ❝ he's great though. even if I want to fight him sometimes for the amount of teasing I endure daily. ❞ Davina replied , rolling her eyes. at his command , she looked at him with a soft smile. his words , being ever so perfect as normal. the honesty in his voice. she believed him. but hell, she's never doubted anything he's said since meeting him. nodding , she leaned in, placing a chaste kiss to his lips. ❝ i'm glad and I hope you can say that same thing to me in a year. ❞ she replied softly. the growing urge to blurt out that she loved him – seemed to never end. especially moments like this. instead , she swallowed hard before straightening herself up and smiling at him. ❝ you haven't been wrong at all. I can't say the same for myself. you know i'm still learning. ❞ Davina said. no doubt , she knew she was going to love it. this time of the year was always magical in its own way. maybe more this year considering where she was and the fact that she felt more at home than she had ever felt in her entire life. another chuckle fell from her as he pulled her onto the train and lead her to an area to stand. ❝ can you blame me for being a bit nervous? ❞ not that she was going to go full detail with why. a new place in some ways, loads of people, a night of hoping she wouldn't screw anything up . . . and the fact that she didn't want to be overly nervous on the way back to his place. confidence was key. she had to remind herself of that. ❝ we can do that. i'd love that. maybe . . . currywurst? that's actually one of my favorites. Alex is to blame on that. ❞ Davina said ,tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. ❝ let's just see . . how tonight goes. I mean at this one. we might get caught up having fun and lose time. besides, we can always go to another one at another time , right? ❞ at least she hoped. she glanced at his hand before smiling at him just the train stopped and the doors opened. ❝ you like seeing me smile , huh ? ❞ not that she complained. she loved smiling around him. hell, that's all she ever did. standing next to him, her eyes glanced around before noticing his gaze staying on her. ❝ so tell me what you like doing at this Christmas market. ❞

Nik was his closest friend, outside of Alex. He was someone Jo could turn to who was of the same age as him and helped encourage his chaos that he couldn't hold in all the time. Of course that was always a pain in the ass for their coach and teammates at times, but it couldn't be helped. There needed to be fun every now and then. Though he had been spending less time with the other now that he had Davina, something he felt a tad bad for but he knew the other could understand. He'd apologize for it in a moment but he wanted to find the right time. "No their won't, hell we are lucky to play with him." Jo replied as arms crossed over his chest as he looked over at the other with a bit of a playful glare. "We will take the pace we are both comfortable with, thank you." He shoves him slightly at that. At his next question, Jo nodded as if it was rather obvious. "Yeah, he saw it right away. Said he knew Davina liked me and that he could see I liked her so he encouraged it." There's a bit of a shrug as he answers. "I didn't either but I won't complain, seeing how it worked out in the end." He small chuckle left him at that before his smile fell a little bit. A hand lifted to scratch at the back of his head. "Uh, yeah, I didn't like how that looked and that's when things kind of started. I mean same with the party at Alex's. It was just one thing after another, you know?"

jo was always one he knew could take a joke. often sharing advice to one another as well as helping each other at practice. and there were days when they didn't have practice that they hung out. of course lately , not entirely . but it made sense. nik being single while jo now had a girl in his life. he was happy for them. really . and davina was a great catch. he remembered her from her first visit a few years ago. " there won't be another like him, let's be real on that . " nik replied. alex was one of a kind. he had shaped goalkeeping into something completely new . no doubt , that man would be forever a legend. " let's hope it does . " nik raised a brow towards jo before laughing . " just don't take it too slow . " of course he was joking. slow was certainly a good thing. especially when two people were getting to know one another. okay , consider him shock. and here he thought alex didn't have any idea. " alex helped you two get together ? " his smile grew. " well i'll be damn. that's not something i expected but that's also a good sign. " nik nodded . " did it start at oktoberfest? bambi and i both seen the way you were looking at her with ansel. "

Jo was thankful to have as close of a friend as he did in Nik. Sure, he was also close with Alex but there was a different level of friendship he had with Nik, the two had to be on the same wavelength as they shared the midfield together. He was thankful for that, of course being closer in age and not dating someone in his family helped with that as well. There was some level of talking he could do with Nik that he wouldn't do with the goalkeeper. Besides, the two could also goof together while Alex seemed just a little more serious at times. And he could goof off with his close friend in Müller. A chuckle left him in return, tossing the sock back. "Good." He begins to reply back. "You're focused too, Bruder. We all are, it's just hard to play how we want to when the coach won't let us play properly. His tactics don't work, we all know that." He shrugs, knowing fully well that the coach preferred a different style of play that just wasn't Bayern. What he hadn't entirely expected, in his thought process here, was for those words to leave his lips in a way that seemed easier to interpret than he thought. "I mean, yeah, I have." He shifts a bit in his seat before shrugging. That wasn't entirely something he openly admitted just yet to others so he hoped Nik could keep it to himself. "I think he'd be happy to hear that for that exact reason. I mean he's been one of the people cheering us on. I think he is our number one supporter, honestly." He chuckles a bit at that. "But I plan on talking to him about that eventually."
picking on his teammate and friend was always fun considering jo knew him well enough to not take him serious. the two had been close since both signed with the team. nik of course, later than jo but he was one of the ones he instantly clicked with on the team. and over the years , their friendship grew more and more. especially when they shared the midfield. jo could trust him. especially when it came to his personal life. a laugh came from once the sock landed on the other. ❝ oh ? I know you will. never doubt that. you're focused and that's a good thing. just wish – we could change things ya know. win more and not have all this shit go on during practice from the coaches. ❞ yeah , sure nik had been a bit better this season in some aspects but still, there wasn't much confidence there. but he also wasn't the only one on the team struggling. a smirk grew at the corner of his lips though over jo's next words. ❝ yet? so you've thought about it huh? ❞ he had to admit, he envied his teammate for having a stable relationship but was also more happy to see jo get what he deserved – someone who made him happy and who was supportive. ❝ that's going to make for an interesting talk with Alex. then again – he did set you two up so he'll probably support the hell out of that. ❞

Little treats were like incentive to most of the team, it couldn't be helped that at times they were all giant children. He gives her a look and a nod before a little sarcastic, "Oh okay." But a chuckle follows to show he meant no harm by it. It was a little clever but he wasn't about to openly admit it. This time the smile grew a little as she seemed rather satisfied with being called the boss. He'd let it happen. "Only a little." He lifts his hand and uses his index finger and thumb to show little space between the two to illustrate that. Talking with his hands, it couldn't be helped. And so he did as instructed, moving to warm himself up and stretched just a bit before bending down and removing his shoes. "See, I can follow instructions. What's next?"
the reaction doesn't go unnoticed and it's incredible how easily persuaded most of the team is, even when none of them were going to admit it. " it was very clever, actually. " sure, she could probably go through a single day without making soccer related puns but why would she do that ? she flips to through the papers on the clipboard until she gets to the right one, smile growing a bit more when he calls her the boss. " that i am. " jess affirms with a nod. " perfect. agility and flexibility it is. i'm gonna assume you're warmed up already but if not give me a couple of jumps and hops. hips and torso rotations. you know the gist. and then i'm gonna need you to take your shoes off. "

Jo's smirk wasn't fading, rather enjoying the reactions he was getting from the other. He was pretty expressive, not that Jo wasn't but he was more so on the pitch. "If you say so." The German replies with a small chuckle as he lifts his shoulders in a small shrug. He can see, however, how excited the other was and that he had something catch his attention. And it was when he pointed towards Neuraum that Jo caught on that he had seen what he looked towards. "Well, that one it is then." He claps the other on the back before returning it to his jacket pocket. "Let's get going." He grins, beginning to lead the way. "It's got four rooms, so you got your pick."
"Me? Over m'head?" Jamie asks, pointing at his chest in disbelief. "Never." He's someone who's very comfortable in new situations and places, someone willing to try just about anything at any given time. It's part of what makes him such a good footballer - he's adaptable. Sure, he can't speak any fucking German, but he thinks he'll be fine tonight, getting by on good looks [ and English ] alone. Another thing that makes him as good at his job as he is is his perceptiveness. He watches Jo's eyes flick up the street and then back to him. Jamie wiggles his eyebrows, a playful smirk rising onto his face. "That one?" he asks, pointing at the club Jo had just looked at. "Seems good t'me."

As far as Jo was concerned, Xander was one of the best he's played with and he was completely fine with admitting that. Jo felt fortunate enough that he was placed on this team and able to play alongside world class players like him and Alex and so on. Which is another reason he wanted to play against Xander and see what would come of it. "I think it could be fun too." Jo says with a smirk. "How do you think it would go?"
Xander had never been like that. He was confident about what he did but he wasn't going to call himself one of the best at what he did. Others may say he was in some way, but he didn't. "Yes. We will see how that goes. It would be interesting." He said. Xander knew what was being said about England when it came to the Euros but they weren't getting ahead of themselves.
