It was true, the two didn't hang around one another as often as they no doubt would like but there was a good reason for that. At least in his mind there was, even if he knew it wasn't something he should use for much longer to keep the two friends apart. Sure him having a girlfriend now meant that time had to be split but that wasn't going to stop them from hanging out. It was jut right now he had been bad at spending time outside of her with others. Jo was just glad the other wasn't mad at him for it. He knew Davina would understand if he took a knight to hang out with his friends, there was no worry there, but the two just had a hard time not being caught up in one another most of the time. Now, however, he would try his best to make time for more things. "He's been a legend. He is, I'm just glad we got to play with and know him." But that would be enough talking up Alex for now in his mind, no doubt his ears were ringing by the two's conversation already. But he was happy to hear the other wasn't actually upset with him, even if he felt a little guilty. "No I know, but still. I can't forget about you guys too. I'm working on how to balance both again." He shrugs though what else he says registers in the mind of the midfielder, causing him to give a small shove to the larger figure.
"Hey be careful there." Jo chuckles as he shakes his head. "But thanks, I mean we want it to work. I am not questioning any of it so I'd say we are safe on that." It was nice actually being happy in his personal life for once as of late. Ever since his last engagement ended, Jo hadn't really been of the positive attitude when it came to him but tried his best to leave it away from the pitch. "Wait you heard them talking? So you knew too? Was that before everything between Vee and me?" Trying to get everything together was like putting a puzzle piece into place with each piece of information. How many people knew that the two had feelings for one another before he even made a move? Jo hadn't thought he was that obvious or at least it hadn't been in general. A hand lifts to run through short blond hair. "So most of you were in on this plan." His head shakes finding it unbelievable that so many would be in on this without even accidentally letting a word slip to him. Arms moved to cross over his chest as he looked at Nik and then away as he lets out a huff. "Well, nice to know it was that obvious to everyone." It's a weak smile but it was there nonetheless. "Well, at least it all worked out." It's half mumbled with a small chuckle. "But thank you, honestly. I mean that's the goal right? Dating to marry and so far I can see that. And of course you would be, who else??"
he missed how much the two of them use to hang around but nik understood. Jo had someone now. someone who made him so very happy and that made the other midfielder happy for him. he deserved that. after everything he'd been through the last year – on top of a season that seemed to be a let down. regardless, the two of them would have a guy's night sometime. and nik wanted to make sure Jo knew not to feel bad for spending less time with him. ❝ damn right. very lucky. he's already a legend . the guy is all class on and off the pitch. ❞ nik replied before shooting the other a playful glare in return. ❝ i'm kidding, Jo. take all the time you need with one another. that helps with the getting to know one another process. not to mention, the suspense of certain wonders? ja – you two are being smart on that. don't wanna rush into all that and it not work. which , by the way – judging by the way you've been lately, I can see it working out for sure. ❞ he couldn't help but point out how much more livelier Joshua had been and how the midfielder seemed far less down when it came to romantic topics. a laugh came from him as Jo shoved him a little. ❝ holy fuck, really? that explains things though. I know he shut a guy out a few weeks ago , out for trying to get him to talk to Davina for him. which had me and king a bit confused. we didn't know though. not until like a week later. when Ansel and him were talking. we overheard a bit. ❞ he couldn't help but grin, shoving him in return. ❝ figured I wouldn't question you about it until you brought it up and all. but ja, it worked out perfectly then. you like her , she likes you. ❞ nik couldn't help but hope one day, he'd have something like what his friend and vee had. for now though, his attention was on trying to improve considering this season was just not too kind to him. an eyebrow raised towards the other before he folded his arms over his chest. ❝ jealousy and women in bikinis will do that to someone. trust me, it was very noticed by some of the other guys at alex's party. and oktoberfest? Bambi pointed it out quick. he hasn't recalled seeing you look at someone the way you looked at her. ❞ he chuckled. ❝ but seriously, bruder. I am so happy for you and her. you deserve that happiness. if there ends up being wedding bells in the future, I better be a groomsman. ❞

It felt natural, being by her side. Time spent with her was never a chore but something he thoroughly looked forward to doing. It was why he was always excited thinking of where to take her, what to do, what to show her. This had been one of the top ones, seeing as he wasn't with her at the time of Oktoberfest. This was tied up there for him for favorite time of the year and he was more than ready to show her why. Even if everything already felt so natural with her, he couldn't help the way his heart hammered away in his chest when they spent time together. Maybe it was because he wanted everything to go perfectly for her, no mistakes, and that she enjoyed it all. Of course the dates were planned with that in mind, but he couldn't control everything. All Jo knew for sure was, he didn't want to mess anything up with her. Not when he felt this level of connection with someone, more than he had with his previous fiancée. There's a chuckle that leaves the midfielder as he nods, knowing what Davina meant because in a way he was experiencing it too. "Yeah, but that's how he shows he cares. I'd like to think since we both experience it with him." Jo replies, his smile remaining as he showed this wasn't something she was alone in. Hell, everything he told her had been done so with honesty. The last several months, even before the real dating took place, had been the truth. Nothing had been hidden from her. The kiss only caused his smile to grow more, something he didn't think possible but always managed to do with him. "Oh a year?" He teased a bit, squeezing her hand. "I believe I will." She wasn't the only one who saw this long term.
"Of course you're still learning you've only been here not even half a year." He replied, wanting to show there was no pressure. This was her life and a new huge adjustment on top of it. He didn't expect her to know everything right away. Besides, he was more than happy to answer her questions when she asked. This might be one of the easier things to show her that was tradition outside of what she already saw earlier in the year. Tourists came from that and this and now this would just be something that was a part of her home to enjoy at her leisure. Well, and with him. This didn't have to be their only stop at the market. That and there were others they could go to on different days. "Davina." He turns his head to look at her more. "You don't have to be nervous, you've spent a good amount of time with me. It's okay." He says with a warm smile, ironic how he couldn't listen to himself. If anything he wanted to see her relax and he knew as the night went on that she would. She'd settle in, find her comfort and groove as they moved about the market and had food and drink. And it was why he was letting her dictate where and what they got first as they got closer. "Currywurst? Yeah sure, I don't see why not. And I can't blame you, it's very good." He chuckled with a nod as they kept walking. "Ja, it is why I'm not worried about time. We can do what we want here, enjoy it, take our time and do what interests you." Finally the doors to the train opened the two were able to make their exit as children ran by, him taking her hand to move through it all until they got up the stairs and to the market itself. Thankfully, it wasn't at all far, if anything it was right next to it.
"Of course I do, who wouldn't?" He answers, as if it is obvious. "Oh..me? I mean food, drink, some of the games are fun." Jo shrugs. "The little shops are cute. I just enjoy the feeling over all I think." He leads her out of the station and moves a bit to the side so she could take in the cool air and the view of the tree with lights on all the vendors set up. "Well, was it what you imagined?"
being happy about him didn't even begin to cover how she really felt about him. sure she was very happy but also , excited. and for once felt desired. every moment with the midfielder , she found herself never wanting to be away from him. and wanting to experience everything with him. he made things fun and made her smile every step of the way. marriage was certainly crossing her mind already. though, that was something she didn't want to bring up. not yet anyways. out of the fear of making him uncomfortable. she wasn't fully sure if that was something he wanted. sure, they knew how bad they wanted one another but marriage was a huge step. and from what she gathered , majority of men cringed at that sort of talk. especially this early into a relationship. she smiled as he spoke before letting out a small laugh. ❝ he's great though. even if I want to fight him sometimes for the amount of teasing I endure daily. ❞ Davina replied , rolling her eyes. at his command , she looked at him with a soft smile. his words , being ever so perfect as normal. the honesty in his voice. she believed him. but hell, she's never doubted anything he's said since meeting him. nodding , she leaned in, placing a chaste kiss to his lips. ❝ i'm glad and I hope you can say that same thing to me in a year. ❞ she replied softly. the growing urge to blurt out that she loved him – seemed to never end. especially moments like this. instead , she swallowed hard before straightening herself up and smiling at him. ❝ you haven't been wrong at all. I can't say the same for myself. you know i'm still learning. ❞ Davina said. no doubt , she knew she was going to love it. this time of the year was always magical in its own way. maybe more this year considering where she was and the fact that she felt more at home than she had ever felt in her entire life. another chuckle fell from her as he pulled her onto the train and lead her to an area to stand. ❝ can you blame me for being a bit nervous? ❞ not that she was going to go full detail with why. a new place in some ways, loads of people, a night of hoping she wouldn't screw anything up . . . and the fact that she didn't want to be overly nervous on the way back to his place. confidence was key. she had to remind herself of that. ❝ we can do that. i'd love that. maybe . . . currywurst? that's actually one of my favorites. Alex is to blame on that. ❞ Davina said ,tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. ❝ let's just see . . how tonight goes. I mean at this one. we might get caught up having fun and lose time. besides, we can always go to another one at another time , right? ❞ at least she hoped. she glanced at his hand before smiling at him just the train stopped and the doors opened. ❝ you like seeing me smile , huh ? ❞ not that she complained. she loved smiling around him. hell, that's all she ever did. standing next to him, her eyes glanced around before noticing his gaze staying on her. ❝ so tell me what you like doing at this Christmas market. ❞

Alex was a mentor to everyone, something that the entire team was thankful for because there was a wealth of knowledge and experience there that could be taken advantage of at any given time. It was something Jo used as often as he could considering he saw the other as a mentor and older brother. This was something Jo would be forever grateful for, even when he was down he could count on Alex to be there for him. That included now when he was going through several things of his own, the criticism from outside voices being the worst. No one was perfect, everyone had bad games and missteps no matter how hard they tried. It couldn't be helped and yet they had to pick it all up and learn how to do better the next day. It wasn't easy being a footballer but Jo wasn't going to trade that life for anything. Even if right now it seemed Jo couldn't do anything right in the eyes of the media or fans. He knew there were some out there but they were nearly drowned out. The blond just had to do better at ignoring them than before. It would have been easier to handle if he had some backup but it only fell to Alex, both only could do so much in the end. It had to fall to ignoring it over all, but he appreciated how Alex was there for him. Still, he was surprised at the offer. Jo's brow furrowed a moment before nodding as how could he turn down the chance? "Yeah, yeah, I'll be there." It was once more just another example of how kind and how much of a leader Alex was. His smile grew just a bit bigger at the kind words, no doubt the taller figure knowing how much that meant to him in the moment. "Thank you, that means a lot. If I did give up, I know I wouldn't be here." His head turned, looking over at him now after the small shove given. "I know you do, it gives us a heart attack sometimes, bruder." He was serious about that. "But unlike other goalkeepers, I trust you still when you do that."

the goalkeeper would never give a teammate criticism for no reason. and most of the team who knew how he was, knew that already. Alex was one of the players who had been on the pitch the longest. which made him fairly knowledgeable when it came to the game. that didn't mean though that he didn't have his fuck ups. those happened. he wasn't perfect and sometimes he received criticism for it as well. it only made him want to correct whatever it was that he messed up. strive harder and become better. Jo took things a bit harder that he did though when it came to criticism. but often, with good reason. lately it seemed that he got nothing but that. and Alex was rather annoyed by it. simply because he hadn't done really anything at all to deserve it. sure, this hadn't been his best season but it also hasn't been anyone on the team's best season. and something else the goalkeeper noticed was the fact that no one seemed to defend the midfielder outside of him. he couldn't quite understand it. seeing his friend and teammate constantly get thrown under the bus was exhausting. and no matter what, Alex made sure to constantly take up for him each chance he was able to. Alex frowned a bit towards the other, knowing he wasn't being honest. still, he wasn't going to push that. ❝ you will be. for now , we can work on things. how about this weekend sometime, you swing by? ❞ he asked, shooting him a soft smile. no doubt about it, Jo was one of the most determined players on the team. and his hard work often paid off. a small chuckle came from alex once again. ❝ you're right but that's why I don't doubt you , bruder. you never give up. ❞ and he meant that. he never doubted the other. he knew that Joshua would get better due to how hungry he was. ❝ I can't make any promises but we'll see. i'll keep my faith. ❞ Alex laughed as the other shoved him playfully. ❝ insane huh? I get that a lot. but hey , I enjoy it. sometimes I like to play the risky game. ❞

She was bringing him a sense of peace he really needed during the off season, something he hadn't really had as of late. Before her, Jo was letting stress after stress reach him until she walked into his life. She brought that sense of calm that he never thought he'd have despite how he appeared to those around him. No doubt the others could see the weight lifted off of his shoulders all because he had a partner who understood him, was there for him. It was more than his former fiancée did. After this, however, he knew his attention would be taken from her for some time. The Euros would have all of it, wanting to win the trophy in their own country and for those who would no doubt retire from national duty once it was all over. But for now? Jo fully was focused on the way she felt against him, the way she looked in a bikini, and how her lips felt against his. She was entirely distracting in the bet ways possible.
Right now she was proving his thought, the way she looked at him and smiled was a perfect example. "Oh I have no doubt about that." The blond replied with a chuckle as the smile continued to pull at his lips. There was no hiding he knew what she was doing. Another chuckle easily follows as he knew that would be her answer, involving him no matter what had been on her mind. "I think you know the answer to that question." He answers, keeping her close and leaning into her touch as she cupped his cheek in her hand. Though it leaves soon after but he remains as close as he can. There's a look of thought that finds its way across his features, looking her over once more all as she speaks before attention shifts to where her hand begins to trail. "You've given this some thought." The grin never falters, blue gaze lifting to meet her's looking up at him. "I say we see if those rumors are true and if they are well, maybe try that out. If not, then we do that when we get back to the house." He shrugs. "Either way, you know you have me no matter what, Vee."
@diemauer
their entire vacation so far had been perfect. and something that she was enjoying more than anything. to be away from everyone – everything and just to be with him, alone. no worries at all. davina was making sure to keep his mind well relaxed. after all, he deserved all the relaxation in the world. and the brunette just knew her midfielder would be nonstop once the euros started. for now , she wanted his mind off of it and would do anything to keep it. rather that was those soft moments , the linger kisses, the exploring islands around Greece or – those hours spent , making her scream his name over and over. either way, he hadn't complained not once and that made her happy.
a smug expression formed on davina's face as well as a more devious smirk. she knew what she was doing and he wasn't blind to it at all. ❝ I could convince more you shortly. ❞ she teased, hands moving to rest on her hips after the cover up fell to the deck. no subtle at all – from either of them. both of them , constantly wanting one another – and Davina wasn't shy at the way she looked at her future husband. ❝ whatever huh? what if – that whatever includes you? ❞ she smiled against his lips, a hand moving to rest a long his jawline. ❝ deal then. ❞ she removes her hand before watching him take a sip of his drink, only to let out a soft sigh. ❝ it does – but also, anything involving you is fun. we'll explore – come back, shower , eat dinner – and then . . . . ❞ she trailed a finger down his chest , only to hook a finger on the waistband of his shorts. ❝ you can let me ride you. or we can just fit the sex into exploring. after all, I hear the caves make for a very romantic experience. ❞

There's a nod as he walks forward, half leading the way while making sure the other wasn't too far off as they walked.The nudge, however, made the German let out a laugh as he kept walking. Jaime was clearly looking forward to it and honestly Jo couldn't blame him at all. "Ja, each room is different so whatever you want to listen to or dance to I guess." He looks over at the other, his own grin growing. Somehow the other's excitement was infectious. "Nein, which ever you want to go to will be fine. I've been plenty of times so I'll let you decide. Do you have a preference? Club or electronic I guess, techno, hip hop, or just party hits?"
"I insist," Jamie doubles down. He's good at keeping a level head. And it's just clubbing, Jamie fucking loves clubbing, he's been to Ibiza a handful of times, he's sure he'll be fine. Jamie nudges Jo's arm with his own, his eyes bright with excitement. "Different DJs, I'm guessing?" he says without the context of the fact that he's asking what makes the rooms different. Jo'll catch on. He follows at Jo's side, refusing to fall behind him even if he doesn't know exactly where he's going. "D'you have any preference about the rooms?"

"Fingers crossed for sure." Jo finds himself saying, though he knew it was better to just let people talk and ignore it. That was his tactic and it was also why he was barely on social media to begin with. "...You didn't think we said that here or know what it is?" His brow furrowed a bit as head tilted to the side. He lets it slide for a moment to answer his next question with a shrug. "Do you mean professionally, in general, or with Bayern?" He asks. "Because I've been with Bayern since 2015 but I've been playing since I was a little kid. Yourself?"
“Yeah, I hope so. Fingers crossed.” For a moment a smile crosses his face, but it’s quickly replaced by an expression of mild confusion. “Is that still a saying here?” Maybe it isn’t and this guy has no idea why he just said that. Why do they say fingers crossed? It’s not like crossing your fingers actually does anything. That’s not the point. They have other things to talk about. “So, how long have you been playing?”

His brow arches but the smile doesn't fade, he was in too good of a mood. Mainly because he really did miss being on the pitch and in his comeback he had an actual good game. It had come together, in his mind anyway. Besides, he knew there was no insult there. This was just how their friendship went. "Natürlich. It is written all over your face." A tease of his own. "Ja, I didn't think they did." This time a small chuckle leaves him before he shrugs. "Just a bit, that and since I'm in such a good mood because of my play. It just all came out."
“Oh yeah, couldn’t you tell? I’m ecstatic,” she says dryly, with an equally bland expression to match. Even if she’s friends with him, a good game for Bayern means a harder time for Dortmund, after all. She can’t start rooting against her favorite team’s interests. But between them, personally, there’s no hard feelings. A smile crosses her face. “Well, the lyrics didn’t help. What, was the song so stuck in your head that the words just fell out of your mouth?”

"I know what you mean, Xander." Jo replies, tone turning to a more serious one than before. "But it's hard to prevent people from fighting, they are passionate. They take it seriously." He shrugs, not that people fought outside or in the arena that he has seen but they seemed ready for it. Though the other's words make him smile just a bit again. "Good, I'm glad to here it. We need to win more, after all. You're a key to that."
"Oh, there is. It just shouldn't happen in the first place." Xander told him. "Football games are supposed to be fun. When things like that happen, it just ruins it. Derby or not." He said. Xander couldn't help but smile. "I don't plan on going anywhere just yet."

Despite the idea of knowing the other was enjoying this, Jo knew he couldn't help his temper. It was what the other was no doubt counting on as this kept going. But the smaller blond's patience could only go on for so long. Sure bringing in Alex wasn't unusual, that was who Oliver was gunning for in the end. It was hilarious to Jo that he thought he could surpass Alex, amusing even. Easy to brush off and eventually walk away but the more he egged it on, the more he couldn't. That was one of his closest friends after all. "And you're not good enough. If you were then you'd have the second or third spot but you don't." He counters, Alex didn't control the decisions, the other just didn't have what it took to be there. "I don't think anyone wants you, from what I've seen." He gives the other a look over with a glare, one that immediately shifts to burning anger as blue gaze lands back onto the other. Talking about his relationship with Davina was a line he should have never crossed, it was the final straw that broke the camel's back. He snapped, his fist connecting with the other's jaw, watching as he stumbled back with his heavy breaths. "Don't you fucking go near her." He growls out, ready to throw another punch before he feels a teammate's hand on his shoulder while others begin to pull Oliver away. "You won't like how that ends for you." He spits on the ground between them before rolling his shoulder harshly to remove the hand on his shoulder before turning and walking away.
ruffling the midfielder's feathers seemed to be working perfectly. oliver knew very well how joshua was on the pitch. and despite that , the goalkeeper wasn't about to back down from this conversation. his goal was to piss him off. but wasn't that his goal when it came to anyone that alex was close to ? he was most certainly going to pry his way into davina's good graces . and with jo's reaction, it fueled that desire more. there's a smirk forming a bit more on the goalkeeper's face as he watch jo's reaction to his words . " only reason i'm not on the national team is because of alex. " he replied with a light shrug. " give it time though . before long – after your perfect goalkeeper retires , they'll want me . " as far as he is concerned , he wasn't about to extend his contract unless he was the new number one come 2025. and that was his goal. alex retires or else , he was leaving. a laugh came from him before he rolled his eyes . " are you sure about that ? she hasn't met me. i'm sure i can show her a better time than you could. " he was so fucking full of himself at this point. " i know all about loyalty. " another laugh fell from him before he feels jo's fist slam into the left side of his face. oliver stumbles back hand reached to rub his cheek and rubbing it. " huh , i think i will . " he spits before he feels a hand of one of his teammates tugging on his jacket .

Jo was more than proud to see how far she has come since she first moved here. The way she took to working with the team, the arena, and balancing her studies? She was admirable. It was something that only added to his love for her. Seeing her be happy and succeeding was more than he could have wished for. Not to mention with the ups and downs of the season, her being there for him in general, meant the world. It showed Jo that she was trying her best to be with him no matter what and he was trying to do the best for her in the process. They were a team and in their busiest times, supporting one another, they knew when they had to buckle down and focus. Unfortunately that also meant some time together was meant either helping her study, him recovering from a game physically, and also recovering mentally. Thankfully, this little trip was meant to be something for the whole team to mentally recoup and in turn that also meant some alone time with her when they could find it. Like right now, this was one of the rare times they were going to get that and they two seemed more than ready to take advantage of the situation. Clothes already tossed aside, bodies pressed against one another as lips claimed each other's over and over again. The want he had for her couldn't be denied and it was plenty obvious when he was standing bare before her.
Lips easily find her's again as he hovers over her, grinding against her as if asking for the moment they both wanted. But it seemed, between his lips claiming her's in a kiss, she had taken the initiative and helped guide him inside her. At the feeling of slowly sliding inside, Jo couldn't help but let out a whispered curse in his mother tongue as she adjusted to him. Both had been impatient, wanting this since the had landed, but duties had called and left them occupied and apart until now. A smirk began to tug at his lips as he harshly thrusted forward, almost setting the tone for what free time they had. "We don't have a lot of time." He makes his point even further with another harsh thrust, though his movements were slow leading up to them. "So we'll do what we can to enjoy this, baby." He leans in against, lips meeting her's in a lustful kiss as she starts to thrust faster into her, over and over again. He hoped too that the kiss would keep her from being too loud, as the last thing they needed was for the whole team to know what was currently happening in her room despite the fact they had been given this free time before the team meal. Still, Jo wanted her badly and it was showing in how desperately he lips claimed her's over and over again while moving to make her moan. That was like music to his ears, showing him he was doing something right, she was enjoying this as much as he was. Of course he needed it be on a more subdued level than when they were at his place, but he wasn't going to complain one bit of she decided to make some noise. Then again, it was also incentive to word harder at getting her to moan and say his name mumbled against his lips.

if this is what she wanted her future to be , then she would do whatever it took to make sure she worked her way up. sure , having a foot through the door helped , all thanks to alex – but davina made sure to let it be known that she didn't want just handouts or favors. though ,it seemed like some of the people in charge admired her ambitious and loyalty that she had developed ever so quickly to the team. it wasn't an easy start though. considering she had to win people's respect . . and still was but it seemed like the team and coaches had came around. which meant a lot to her. because she was trying. the team , and everything about it was important to her. she wasn't shying away from helping when she got the chance. and no doubt , if she wasn't doing her own thing , she was there at säbener. which is why she was there now. to help since the trip was short staffed. and just in case she needed to help. that didn't mean though she wasn't going to not steal any chance to be with him. god knows , that free time would be spent with him as much as they were able to be together. and they weren't wasting a second more once they got there. despite being a bit pressed for time , davina's mind was nonstop on him. and how bad she needed him. and it seemed like they both had the exact same thing on their minds.
she couldn't help but chuckle at his words. he wasn't wrong. he had learned her rather quickly. and it didn't take her long to drop that innocent thing she played. him taking charge was something she enjoyed very much. and it was hard not to admire him when he removed his own shirt. kisses growing more heated. he was far more patient than she was. especially when it came to how bad that desire was. hand moved back to his shoulders as she felt him pressed into her more. whimper escaping , against his lips until the kiss broke, fingers hooking into the hem of her skirt, sliding it from her hips. davina's eyes closed , back arching as joshua's lips moved down her jaw and to her neck, nipping gently . had it not been for the lack of time , she would have been far more welcoming to him leaving a few marks. there was no denying that she had a thing for that. the lower he moved down her body , davina raised up just a bit , watching him closely. he made this all so good feeling. jaw staying open as his lips moved to her stomach and his hands push her skirt completely off , only to toss it with the rest of her clothing. no time wasted again . lips met his before he moved the two of them further up the bed. he was teasing though – the way his hand moved to her thigh, tracing up and down before wrapping it around his waist. and before she could even start begging for him , he pulled away. " guess it's a good thing i'm very worked up. " she smirked , watching as he finished sliding his sweatpants off. teeth sunk into her bottom lip as her eyes trailed his body before he began to move back to their previous position. her leg hooking around him almost instantly . his hips rocking into her , making her feel his hard length against her , davina couldn't help but shift under him a bit. hand slipping in between their bodies so she could gently help guide him into her. using her leg that was hooked to his waist , she pushed him further into her , breaking the kiss and letting out a soft shaky sigh over how good he felt. for a moment , she tilted her head back , eyes closing before moving her hands to his waist . " fuck . . . Josh. you have no idea how bad i've been needing to feel you . " davina breathed , eyes locking onto his as lips pursed for a moment. " i'm fine with any pace you want to go with. "

Jo preferred the blunt criticism but only when it came with something to help him do better, advice to help him improve. He wasn't getting that most of the time and even when he could drown it out, it still weight a bit heavy on the blond. What hurt more so was the lack of defense he was getting from those around him. Outside of Alex, no one else was really saying much of anything. It showed him that yes they were a team but he had some work to do to once more show everyone, including the team, why he was here and deserved everything he had. Jo was putting his foot down, he wasn't going to let himself be the scapegoat. He was done. "It isn't too bad." A bit of a lie but hey, he had to keep looking ahead. "I'll be back soon." He starts to nod, almost as if talking to himself in the process. "I am trying, but as you know it is easier said than done. But I don't give up, I never let myself do that." This game meant far too much to him, it was his passion and livelihood, he wasn't going to just lay down and take it when things got tough. No, that wasn't who he was. The chuckle from the other was at least something that made the attitude of the midfielder improve just a bit. He even let out his own weak chuckle as he nodded. "You better because I don't like how this is going." He shoves the other a bit, lightly. "If anything, sitting up there let's me see how insane you are for being out of the box so often. I'm used to it, of course, but you are still crazy."
alex was blunt but – he meant well when he showed his teammates tough love and was honest with them. no one on the team was perfect , he got that. hell , even he wasn't but – they all had to try to do their best. and jo was still growing and had grown so much since he first joined the team years ago. there was no reason to throw harsh criticism and demand a player to be sold from the team due to a few bad games. it was ridiculous and truthfully , one thing that irked him. he had his fair share in the past of that but lately , jo was getting far too much of it. and it was unnecessary. plus , he wasn't the only player on the team who was having a few bad games. several of them were. all the goalkeeper could do is reassure the team that they were doing well and that they could do better when those moments came. " sadly . " alex sighed softly . " time will fly though . and you'll be back . " at least he was able to attend practices and champions league games. he shifted his gaze onto jo , taking notice of his reaction to what davina had said about him . and a hint of a small smile cracked before the subject was changed. " see , you got this . i believe that you will . it's always our mistakes that make us stronger. keep that attitude , jo . " alex replied. the midfielder's next words though caused the goalkeeper to laugh again . " yeah , i'd imagine you are. when you return though , we'll be winning better . "

It had been nice, just being a normal couple without the worry of the press or the sport. It was why vacations after a season were a reset that was desperately needed. And it was nice being able to take one this year with someone he loved instead of tagging along with a teammate. This had been the most refreshed he's felt in a long time and he was sure the only reason for that was her. It was why he couldn't help but keep her close, arms around her middle and looking down at her in the moonlight with a smile. Jo did not think it possible for his smile to grow and yet her answer only makes it so, the kiss something he wanted as well because he could never get enough of her. Though to make sure they followed through, he did sadly have to let go and get some things ready. "So I'll make two then." He answers, looking over his shoulder before grabbing his swim trunks and changing into them. The dark blue material replacing the black sweatpants he had on before with white shirt tossed aside, he headed downstairs only then to begin their drinks. It didn't take long to do, both were simple in that regard which he was thankful for. It was when he heard her stop moving that shifted his attention from the glasses and over to her. A chuckle leaving him as he saw her standing there. "I can say the same to you, Schatz." Both hands wrap around the glasses before he makes way to her, left hand outstretched for her to take one. "Ready?"
@diemauer
she hated that this would soon end – considering both of them were enjoying the vacation and one another. davina hadn't felt this content and relaxed in so long. not that she wasn't already content with Joshua but – being away from most everything certainly helped heighten the feeling. his arms around her petite framed felt so good. smile remaining soft as blue eyes stared up at him. she felt extremely happy and loved by him. and nothing would change that at all. tongue ran over her lips as she nodded at his words. ❝ I thought it would. ❞ Davina replied , just as he leaned in and placed a quick soft kiss to her lips. ❝ that's fine , baby. i'll take whiskey – on the rocks, please.❞ her eyes glanced him over as he walked away and towards the closet. and after a moment, Davina did the same. moving to the dresser where she had placed her bathing suits and such in. stripping out of what she wore , she then put on the tropical floral printed bikini before reaching for one of the cover ups and heading downstairs to meet Jo. of course she couldn't resist but to stare at Jo. smile forming. ❝ in case I haven't told you enough already, you look so good.❞

Jo's smirk wasn't fading, rather enjoying the reactions he was getting from the other. He was pretty expressive, not that Jo wasn't but he was more so on the pitch. "If you say so." The German replies with a small chuckle as he lifts his shoulders in a small shrug. He can see, however, how excited the other was and that he had something catch his attention. And it was when he pointed towards Neuraum that Jo caught on that he had seen what he looked towards. "Well, that one it is then." He claps the other on the back before returning it to his jacket pocket. "Let's get going." He grins, beginning to lead the way. "It's got four rooms, so you got your pick."
"Me? Over m'head?" Jamie asks, pointing at his chest in disbelief. "Never." He's someone who's very comfortable in new situations and places, someone willing to try just about anything at any given time. It's part of what makes him such a good footballer - he's adaptable. Sure, he can't speak any fucking German, but he thinks he'll be fine tonight, getting by on good looks [ and English ] alone. Another thing that makes him as good at his job as he is is his perceptiveness. He watches Jo's eyes flick up the street and then back to him. Jamie wiggles his eyebrows, a playful smirk rising onto his face. "That one?" he asks, pointing at the club Jo had just looked at. "Seems good t'me."

As far as Jo was concerned, Xander was one of the best he's played with and he was completely fine with admitting that. Jo felt fortunate enough that he was placed on this team and able to play alongside world class players like him and Alex and so on. Which is another reason he wanted to play against Xander and see what would come of it. "I think it could be fun too." Jo says with a smirk. "How do you think it would go?"
Xander had never been like that. He was confident about what he did but he wasn't going to call himself one of the best at what he did. Others may say he was in some way, but he didn't. "Yes. We will see how that goes. It would be interesting." He said. Xander knew what was being said about England when it came to the Euros but they weren't getting ahead of themselves.

"Englischer Garten?" Jo questions, knowing most weren't far from rivers but that was the biggest one and was the easiest to job. Also in his mind one of the better options. A chuckle follows as he nods. "That one I think is what you mean so we will go there." He was about ready to start the walk to it when she handed out the leash. Jo had to do practically a double take. A hand lifted to point at himself before taking the leash. "Well, danke, I feel honored." He adds with a smile. "And I suppose I'll lead the way there?" He questions, start to take a few steps forward which Leonie seemed to enjoy. It meant they were getting a move on rather than just standing still.
sofia nodded, it certainly would. she'd known that when she decided to pack herself and leonie up and move. she knew she wouldn't have her family there to take leonie when she had to work. they made do with dog sitters and friends. and she did love that all her friends loved leonie. "the gardens by the river? leonie found a sandwich under a bush once. she likes to check for others." she held out leonie's leash to jo, the ultimate sign of trust. he wanted to be her favorite, he could certainly win leonie's favor by being the one with the leash while they jogged.
