everyone  thinks  that  the  casey  family  has  everything  figured  out.  there's  a  well  rehearsed  show  they've  put  on  for  years , but  the  reality  is  that  the  casey  family  has  been  falling  apart  for  a  long  time  now.  a  dead  beat  father  who  can't  seem  to  quit  chasing  pipe  dreams  and  a  mother  at  her  wits  end , rebecca  was  expected  to  make  sure  the  house  was  cared  for  from  a  young  age.  working  part  time  jobs  as  soon  as  she  got  into  highschool , everyone  thought  it  was  for  her  to  save  up  for  college.  with  college  too  much  to  think  about  rebecca  puts  on  the  act  that  she's  got  it  all  together , when  her  hope  is  to  just  get  the  hell  out  of  hawkins  and  start  her  own  life.  away  from  her  family.  it's  not  until  all  the  chaos  in  hawkins  happens , flipping  the  table  upside  down , that  she  realizes  she  has  more  to  keep  her  around  hawkins.  people  who  actually  care  about  her.
