got a really awesome pride month icon from saltine / salt ! @iirvings they're really good at makin' things and i'm very happy. as i said in my meta / hc yesterday that uh, got longer as i kept going whoops that yuri is demi-panromantic / pansexual. ironically this is also my sexuality, and i think the flag is pretty fun looking with its variations. plus my favorite color, purple is in it! so far it's been a fun month and i hope it has for everyone and they've been staying safe an' happy.

that time when yuri and best battle buddy judy literally met through staging a jail break to free countless innocent people and started dramatically acting out how the other was torturing them and i can hear it as plain as day with t.roy baker screaming ' get this psycho off me ! ' also how yuri literally is looking anywhere but at judy's outfit because he's a good boy. also the hilarity of them always meeting in the middle of the night because they're unable to sleep and yuri has so much adhd karol even pretty much implies it if you sleep at an inn in dahngrest.

also just love how yuri doesn't hold back at all which should be normal in games at this point with male heroes / protagonists but like ....it's not which is weird but anyway! no matter the gender, etc, judy is a beautiful lady just like estelle but he's measuring her skill as a warrior, not as a woman. he fully honors and respects her and holds nothing back.

and then she punches him again in the face afterwards and all he does is laugh. their friendship doesn't get explored enough but he really loves judy like a little sister, in the same vein as rita albeit rita he has to keep from setting shit on fire.

also that comic where they go out at night and raven and the others think yuri and judith are dating / going on a date and hiding it and they're actually just fighting each other like fiends. it's great. and of course raven gets trolled.

just back from a trip so i'm a little slow on replaying, taking my time and i'm glad i'm limiting my space. working on replies in general. thanks everyone for being patient ! i'll get to them soon. also would tumblr not reset my tags please --

i love kauf.man but honestly i have to laugh that every place yuri goes, the guy who doesn't give a damn about looks, someone is subconsciously flirting or hinting flirty comments or point blank going oh hey it's an unnaturally handsome man. and with kauf.man she has ulterior motives. she sees yuri as useful to her business and a potential worthwhile investment. she's just teasing him. but it's still hilarious. yuri obviously doesn't care about looks, save he does like to maintain his long long hair. the more people tell him to cut it i imagine the more he pulls an 'adult' little shit move and grows it out more, similar to how it was in fi.rst strike, which he still binds his hair like that sometimes ... if he can even afford cloth that is.

i also noted that the designer for yuri's design according to mars was basically, 'make him as attractive as possible' and i spit out my water i feel horribly bad for him and also laughed my ass off. like that's literally in his design notes of the art book i could never translate. and yet yuri is so uncomfortable and humble about things mostly due to his environment, personality and life experiences and the people who probably knew he was what, gonna be a serious looker? so they kept him humble. he's not a flirt. estelle point blank comments how awkward and uncomfortable he is showing any vulnerability which is a big damn mood. so someone telling him he's handsome just....yeah that is a big step away because he couldn't give a damn about looks when so many people are in need. but beauty is subjective so. yeah count him out.

went from a large number to 35 and it feels really good. feels...freeing tbh? not anything anyone did but i can't handle that many and i want this to be friends only / private / nonaffiliated . so yuri will be slowly inching his way back, rules revamped, tags edited if i feel it, and if you're here, then you're here! sure, i hope everyone understands, but this i've been holding back on for like almost two years.
