● — || @dontcherish sent : 'baby...d'you have to get up so early ??' is cloud pouting because his favorite heat source is gone from bed ?? maybe a little bit. but he hopes it'll at least get him a proper kiss, if not a few more minutes of cuddling.

● — || The sun danced through the curtains that morning , casting an [ [ a m b i e n t ] ] glow around the room . As always , Zack was up with the sun . He had things to do , most of it involved doing things before Cloud's pretty blue eyes ever faced the world . The sound of sheets [ [ s h u f f l i n g ] ] could be heard as Zack moved to place a kiss just beneath the other's messy , blonde bangs on his forehead . For a moment , fond eyes watched the peace that had painted itself across Cloud's features while he slept . He looked so . . . calm when he finally got to have rest . The last thing Zack ever wanted to do was disturb that .

He [ [ d r a g g e d ] ] himself up into a sitting position , then stretched his arms and back to wake himself up more . He lazily bent forward towards the floor , feeling around for his shirt and when he was [ [ a b o u t ] ] to grab it , a familiar sleepy voice caught his attention. He laughed quietly as he turned to look at Cloud , his eyes soft with love and light that were reserved only for someone special .

" You know as well as I do that a morning run is not going to happen by itself . "

But , who was he to deny more time in bed with Cloud ? Even if it did put him behind schedule just a little bit .

The dark - haired - brunette moved further back into the bed . He moved so that he was hovering over Cloud , one forearm resting on either side of his head on the pillow while he smiled down at him , noses barely touching . Mindless fingers [ [ t o y e d ] ] with straggled blonde locks as he hummed .

" But for you , sweetheart , I suppose it can wait . "

He leaned further down just so their lips brushed against one another .

" You're worth it . "

His words became mumbles as he sealed their distance with a feather - like kiss , allowing his soul to melt into the stars he loved so dearly .
