&&.       𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 she knew her best friend better than anyone. that is after all how she earned such a title. perhaps the fact that they’d grown up together also contributed. she loved the rider family and she liked to think that they loved her as well . . it was almost hard not to. the first day had slipped away from her and she was not able to connect with the prince. but this was a new day and she refused to have another second pass where they didn’t see one another. there were very few places harlow could be found . . but if she knew him like she claimed, he’d be in the library with his nose deep in books. as she entered the large building, it took her no time to make her way to the section he favored. keeping her steps silent . . she moved behind the boy, using her hands to cover his eyes lightly. “ guess who . . “ she smiled while resting her chin ontop of his head.  // @tidalswept​

&&.        𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 at the base of her neck in the seemingly perfect bun. she wore a dress that stopped just at her knee with not a single wrinkle in sight. her makeup was soft and natural . . nothing like her usual smokey eye. everything about how she looked in that current moment felt so wrong . . yet it was what she had to do every second she went to class or in this case payed her eldest brother a visit. catching him in passing she so swiftly moved her arm into his a smiled on her lips. “ dearest brother . . i’m quite upset. not once have you payed me a visit. or were you unaware i was joining you . . “ she let out a soft gasp, her fingertips covering her mouth. “ have i ruined the surprise . . ? “ // @tidalswept​

&&.           𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐃 through the small room which candice held to herself. she found herself waiting for a portion of her meal to cook . . so what better way to pass the time than to sing ? turning up the volume a few notches, she grabbed her hairbrush giving a performance of a lifetime. belting out the lyrics to black magic . . she swayed her hips wiggling her fingers. as she was jumping around she screamed from the presence of the other at her side seemingly out of nowhere . . “ harlow ! almost gave me a heart attack . . “ she clutched a hand to her chest as she took a step away from him. 

it had been . . a little while since the two of them spoke. it was her fault really . . she just needed to build herself back up from the news he’d given her that night. sure . . it still stung, but he was still her best friend and at the end of the day she wanted him to be . . happy. “ i . . i didn’t know you were comin’ over . . “ she blushed . . embarrassed as she put the brush down, dialing down the volume. glancing down . . she took a small breath before letting her gaze meet his. “ how . . how’ve you been ? “
