.ᐟ    bambi!reader is the sweetest girl in kildare. she's soft spoken and shy, skiddish like a little deer. she's easily spooked and gets nervous very easily, small giggles falling past her lips when she starts to feel her skin heating up and the anxiety creeping in.

.ᐟ    bambi!reader is as sentimental as they get. she has a little box of all the birthday cards she's ever recieved, and she holds every gift she's ever been given near and dear to her heart. she loves giving the people she loves random little gifts and trinkets, whether it be a flower she picked on her way to see them or some baked goods she whipped up.

.ᐟ    bambi!reader is a master at chess. she picked it up playing with her father growing up, and she was fascinated by the strategy of it, the anticipation of your opponent's move and the reaction to what they eventually decide to do. you wouldn't expect it by looking at her, but she's surprisingly competitive.

.ᐟ    bambi!reader is a lover girl. she wears her heart on her sleeve and is often very trusting. she's a people pleaser that values how other people see her more than anything else, which often ends up in her getting hurt by people who take advantage of that. still, she continues to try and see the good in people, despite the pain it causes her.

i can't believe i reached 1k omg !! i started october with like 300 and started november with 1k, which is so insane to me. i am so so so insanely grateful to all of you who have liked, reblogged, followed, and honestly, just even spared my account a second glance. i literally love you guys so bad, and it means the world to me that you enjoy my silly little stories.

   You had known Sonny for a very long time, picked up on his little quirks and habits. You could read him better than anyone else, and right now, you could tell that something was weighing on his mind. Sitting across from him in the diner that you two had frequented often to catch up and talk when you had particularly busy weeks and couldn't make time for each other, you noted the distinct furrow in his brow and the way that he kept drawing in a sharp breath, his lips kept parting ever so slightly and then closing again like he was going to say something but thought better of it.

"You know," he said after a long pause, "I don’t really believe in coincidences." He glanced down, his pointer finger tracing the rim of his coffee cup, seemingly mulling over his words and deciding what to say before he said it. "I mean, every day, I see how things happen, one tiny choice leading to another." He glanced back up at you, a vulnerability in his eyes that made your heart flutter. "Sometimes, it makes me think that maybe all of this… maybe everything that happens is always leading us somewhere."

"Like... fate?" You asked softly, your brows furrowing as you processed his words. You didn't really peg him for the type of guy to believe that everything happened for a reason.

"I know it sounds crazy," he added, feeling a little silly, but the words kept spilling out of him before he could stop them, like he's been holding it in for a long time and just needed to get it out. "But I feel like I’ve known you long before I actually did. Like everything that's happened has happened just so I could sit here, across from you."

Your breath caught in your throat at his words, hanging onto every syllable. There was something so romantic, so utterly raw and exposed about the way he was baring his soul to you. "Do you really believe that?" You questioned him quietly, your grip on your own coffee cup tightening as the warmth seeped through the ceramic onto your skin.

He laughed nervously, running his hand through his hair in that familiar, endearing way. Your eyes tracked his movement momentarily before snapping back to his face, searching for any signs of insincerity, but you knew Sonny. He was anything but insincere. "I never really thought about it much before, but..." he trailed off, his gaze sliding away to look around the small diner.

Everything around you—the sounds of dishes clattering, silverware scraping against porcelain, the enthusiastic chatter of people talking with their families and friends—it all seemed to fade into the background as you hung on his every word, staring intently at him as if urging him to continue.

"It’s like… all my life, I’ve been chasing something. Justice, maybe. A purpose." He stopped briefly, struggling to vocalize the swarm of emotions and feelings and thoughts that he was experiencing in that moment. "And then, you show up, and it’s like suddenly, things make sense. Like maybe.... maybe I was always meant to find you, no matter what."

You felt a warmth spread through you, a relief for an ache you didn't even know you had. All the nights you'd spent with him, laughing and talking, his comfort and presence seeping into the fabric of your life like he belonged there, like he'd always been there. You didn't realize until this moment, until he had taken the first step, that you were unfathomably in love with him.

"I think... I think I feel the same way. That maybe, somehow, we were meant to be... together," you said hesitantly. There were definitely romantic undertones to his whole speech, and you were hoping he meant it that way, but there was always the possibility that Sonny, the sweet and sometimes oblivious man that he was, had just been trying to explain his gratitude for your friendship.

The furrow in Sonny's brows softened, relief flooding him at your words. You had been silent for such a long moment that he thought he said something wrong, ruined the friendship that you two shared by attempting to make it something more. "Yeah?" He asked gently, seeking that little bit of conformation as he offered his hand to you.

"Yeah," you nodded, a warm smile tugging at your lips as you placed your hand in his. And in that moment, you two just stared at each other, sharing an understanding that didn't require the spoken word. You were meant to be here. You were meant to be with him and him with you.

—🐞 swan!reader’s favorite music genere/artists? ∩^ω^∩

surprisingly, swan!reader's musical tastes are actually pretty versatile. she loves classical music and instrumentals because that's pretty much all her mother would play growing up. she listens to that mostly when she's studying or doing something that requires focus and attention. she specifically loves the song je te laisserai des mots by patrick watson.

however, she's also a big pop and indie/folk music girl. she'll listen to it while she bakes and prances around the kitchen—to the behest of her mother—and while she's in the shower or the car, pretty much anytime she's in a singing mood.

her guilty pleasure, which you wouldn't guess from her prim and proper upbringing and attitude, is hip hop. her parents would probably have an aneurysm if they heard half the lyrics in the hip hop songs she likes, so she makes sure to only listen when she's alone and with headphones on.

some of her favorite artists are taylor swift, gracie abrams, phoebe bridgers, noah kahan, gigi perez, sir-mix-a-lot, nicki manaj, snoop dogg, and tupac, so she definitely has more range than people give her credit for or would even expect from her.

i love to lay on the ground, on my stomach, next to my heater. But my feet have to be in direct contact to the heat

this was a very interesting one because i could totally see a couple of different characters finding this quirky and endearing, but i think ultimately, i might have to say pope. i think he would find it odd and definitely tease you about it a little bit, but i also think he'd be sort of understanding about it, especially if it was a comfort thing. and, if you two are hanging out, he'd probably chill on the ground with you while he's reading or doing whatever.
