THE RING'S IRE : Sett's pit has and always been exclusively tailored to luxury and fame given the till he's accrued in wealth from the men and women who fight tooth and nail for a title and unlimited recognition from the crowd. Bets are placed, and the victor is earned the wealth accrued, and this wealth given to the Boss. The till.

The delirium of seeing the defeated being smothered by their own blood, easily washed with a gulp of Ionian wine, obfuscating his peripheral of seeing it. On the daily, Sett is reminded to represent his position as the boss; make it clear anyone who demeans his authority or his till, he will knock out a tooth. Despite needing to be reminded of keeping his toxic masculinity on the line ( while managing to stay truthful to his kindness ), he offers the opposing party to apologize and go on their merrily way without making a scene.

Even at his mercy, if the opposing party makes a scene in front of his crew, he'll beat them just as hard in front of the whole crowd in his own arena. The arena he stuck his neck out in the pit, making somebody else rich.

I often reminisce about how much of a toxic environment Sett willingly exposes and surrounds himself in. The literal shit he endured as a child and the loss of a father figure has made him moot to everyday beating. Whether it's him or witnessing someone else. He outwardly despises hurting people, but as long as he's making money and making something of his life and his Momma's... he's satisfied.

Sett, everyday feels guilt and paranoia, knowing he's lying to the only person that has treated him with care and never shunned him for being half human and vastayan. His own mother. Every night he comes home to deliver his momma food and money, and she'll always ask where he's obtained an injury from or where did this money come from?

He'll feel his tongue itch and easily comes up with a half-baked lie such as "It's goin' to the orphanage, Ma'. I'll make you proud-"

He'll kill a man if it means keeping his position as Boss and wealth, going to show he's not a "softy". As much as he dislikes the very notion of it, given his mother's praises and being led on a lie that "he's building" and making “good things” come from the wealth he has accrued.
