How do u see Sylas and sett relationship? Do you have any headcanons with them? Au they could share.

i’m  gonna  preface  that  i’m  mostly  led  on  with  their  classic  variants  being  issued  as  it  was  something  i  was  more  invested  /  experienced  in  when  i  had  role-played  with  a  sylas  .  i  could  also  see  spirit  blossom  sett  /  lunar  wraith  sylas  be  a  thing  as  well  ,  but  it  all  boils  down  to  how  this  interaction  can  ever  possibly  be  made,  right  ?  in  terms  of  head  -  canons  ,  myself  &  my  former  partner  …

had  mutually  agreed  sylas  was  the  type  to  travel  as  a  hardened  former  revolutionary  fighter  ,  seeking  purpose  after  the  events  of  the  whole  mageseeker  arc  .  some  of  his  followers  even  joined  him  on  his  adventures  beyond  the  barriers  of  demacian  control  &  influence  across  valoran  .  ionia  is  a  lone  archipelago  -  a  continent  -  ,  with  no  concept  of  a  government  .  it  is  usually  dictated  by  elderly  council  leaders  depending  on  the  village  ,  clan  ,  tribe  ,  or  what  have  you  .  granted  ,  a  community  can  also  be  ruled  a  chieftain  .  but  ultimately  ,  ionia  has  no  designated  ruler  &  i  would  like  to  think  sylas  sought  refuge  beyond  the  control  of  oppressive  civilizations  .  he  had  lived  years  oppressed  for  his  abilities  ,  dreading  days  behind  bars  &  magic  oppressive  walls  &  chains  .  you  cannot  blame  him  if  he  wants  to  entirely  leave  the  main  region  of  valoran  to  find  his  purpose  again  .  

since  there  is  a  canon  boat  route  &  docking  point  in  ionia’s  placidium  ,  it  wouldn’t  be  out  of  the  possibility  he  would  happen  to  venture  into  navori  ,  right?  &  guess  what  else  is  in  navori  ?  sett’s  pit  ,  right  there  in  the  city  of  qayanvi  .  with  a  boating  port  just  below  it  .  it  wouldn’t  be  beyond  the  possibility  either  to  see  what  all  the  fuss  is  over  this  specific  arena  ;  given  people  all  across  runeterra  come  to  see  shows  or  participate  in  it  .  it’s  among  the  main  sources  of  entertainment  in  navori  .

noxian  inspired  /  invented  &  ionian  cultivated  .  sylas  having  fuel  for  fighting  himself  ,  i  would  imagine  he’d  enjoy  the  concept  of  fighting  in  the  pit  .  even  for  just  a  bit  .  sett  ,  naturally  gaining  interest  in  this  demacian  fighter  ,  since  it’s  mostly  noxians  that  come  into  ionia  .  

(  also  just  the  fact  sett  has  noxian  blood  in  his  system  ,  you  can  just  spot  the  fact  he  is  born  from  a  former  soldier  because  of  purely  his  dark  pigmented  eyes  &  strong  jawline  )  .  

as  for  my  views  on  their  relationship  in  regards  to  their  characters  ,  i  don’t  mind  them  being  rivaled  acquaintances  or  whatnot  .  but  with  good  plotting  &  interaction  ,  romance  is  not  out  of  the  realm  of  possibilities  for  me  .  as  i’ve  stated  in  the  past  ,  i  had  once  role-played  with  a  sylas  writer  &  we  delved  deep  into  their  relations  to  the  point  they  became  lovers  within  classic  constraints  .
