biography .

early life .

dylan robert hagan was born january 1 , 1997 in camden , maine . he grew up as a small town kid , garnering an interest in music from a young age and beginning a lifelong journey to become a famous singer songwriter . throughout his late teens dylan began to gain some traction , playing huge venues by the time he turned twenty two . it is also at age twenty two that his life changed forever .

summer hawthorne's death .

it was ruled an overdose , the death of the love of his life . she'd been experimenting unbeknownst to the musician , slipping back into old habits of which he'd never been aware . dylan was the one who found her , hearing the thud and rushing upstairs to find pill bottles splayed around her lifeless body like a beautiful , tragic painting . for all intents and purposes , it did look like a suicide . but there were aspects of the scene that made no sense ; a sulphuric odor , for one . it was nearly overwhelming when he stepped into the bedroom . for another , the smoke . he couldn't be sure in that moment , but dylan could swear he'd seen a plume of black smoke disappearing through the window as he'd entered . both of these things ate at him , prompting a deep internet dive once the scene and her body had been taken care of .

the aftermath .

in his search he came across a site for an amateur ghost hunting crew . while a lot of their videos were egregiously underwhelming and dramatized , it was a solid jumping off point from which to begin learning about the world of the paranormal . and that he did , using the grieving period taken from performing to research the anomalies of his girlfriend's death and determine what exactly had happened to her . by the time dylan went back on tour , he was armed and ready to take on cases along the way - and annihilate as many demons as he could .

now .

dylan is twenty seven years old , still a big time musician - but also a big time hunter . his double life leaves him worn out and exhausted a lot of the time , but knowing what happened to summer propels him forward with a quiet , melancholy determination to keep this tragedy from befalling as many people as he can . he hunts all kinds of monsters now , hunting between writing and performing and knocking elbows with some big names in both of his worlds . as hunting is a hush hush profession as it is , there have been incredibly few instances of him risking being exposed . he has hundreds of cases under his belt over the course of the last five years , still going strong today .
