Does anyone else feel shitty constantly seeing so many people talk about how Astarion's story resonated with them when it made you feel.....little to nothing?

It's not from downplaying or dismissing what he went through, you're fully aware of the severity, it just didn't really have much emotional impact on you?

Idk I just feel like it's this universal BG3 fandom experience to have an intense reaction to Astarion's trauma, when that could not be further from my own. I haven't seen any shame directed at people for not responding emotionally to his story, but I also haven't seen anyone say how neutrally it affected them.

Am I alone in this?

CWP Devlog

As the @campwillowpeak coder I figured why not give an update! (With Ziggy's blessing✨)

Completed majority of Harper's route for the Demo (Should be complete tomorrow)

Completed player customization screen (includes custom pronouns)

Completed sprite coding

Completed main menu screen coding

Set up the romance and friendship system

Set up the framework for an inventory system and notes system

Set up the framework for cabin-mate and room choice

Then there's a bunch of little things I've done to make the process easier for the game.

Currently just waiting on assets and script from Ziggy 🫡

I'm getting frameworks set up so that once I do get the assets it's just plugging them in and tweaking it all to fit!
