        A     s  e  e  m  i  n  g   l  y    cool,   soft beauty who excels at everything she decides to do. The school often sees her as an idol having alienated her after realizing she uncomfortably can do just about anything. Though she under goes very little bullying her classmates do not speak to her in fear they are not good enough. Or that she is too good for them, Merlyn does not mind this despite the fact that she is often helping anyone and everyone around her without a second thought. It makes the typical classmen uncertain around her and since she is always giving to other people, often making them feel estrange. Wanting nothing in return for the gifts she gives. The school cannot find them self hating her, considering Merlyn always finds herself giving her fellow students gift. Often times in moments when they most need them; it is because of this she ends up being well liked. Despite the distance created by everyone around her.         Her voice is soft, and because she has this image on her tries hard not to talk. She is found spacing out and when spoken to finds herself stuttering or talking too much because shes so excited to finally talk to someone.           Merlyn is easily scared as well, her home life is quite. She never gets to see her very busy mother and often times spends her time alone when she leaves School. Overall she is emotionally overwhelmed by the pressures of her future. If you ask her about what she wants to be or what she wants to do, she will break down crying. She has no idea what her future holds nor any idea what she wants to do--because she wants to do nothing and hasn’t fond her future yet. For someone who can do anything, Merlyn is horrified and scared of who or what she can become as an adult.The pressures from her teaches doesn’t help as they all want to drag her and coax her into their own bias of studies. She lives to please people and is easily swept up by other peoples emotions.           Unfortunately and perhaps at times, not so unfortunate. Merlyn has a strange attraction about her that seems to suck in people. It can be the reason why she is placed on a pedestal, although there is an unspoken reason for it ( perhaps only used if the verse has supernatural stuff to it ), isn’t always addressed or cared for. Often this causes the wrong characters to take advantage of her and since shes all giving. Merlyn finds herself getting overwhelmed by others rather frequently; she has gotten taken advantage of by men several times. In often heart breaking ways. Her self preservation is to stay away from older men, and gets scared at boys who raise their voice ( looks at gil ) or are aggressive ( looks at Gawain ) .             Ultimately she is a comely girl, a complete opposite from her older adult counterpart.

Why does Merlyn not have her own Children A SHORT STORY BY SHEEP:                      Because she’s by all intents and purposes still a /demon/ her body is a /succubus/ if she had a child with /her body/ they would surely be a /demon/. She doesnt want her child to come out living a struggle she knows she cannot save them from.

O   O    C       ;     In her FATE VERSE she stabs herself with Excalibur to put herself in the Grail. She has a scar where Excalibur stabbed her as a servant. However she heavily covers up such a scar with her own magic. I do not mention it because i dont need people meta gaming that she has a scar! Because theres generally no reason for it to be seen unless you specifically have a skill that can see a curse. Or she omits that she has it, and or she fucked up with her own magic. Or is weakened--like all of these things havent happened so theres really no need to mention IT BUT YOu ASKED SO HERE WE GO!! have a neat piece of info. Actually it might slightly appear if she is killed in Chaldea and is fading away but i imagine shed hide such a thing very well.                             As a SORCRESS she can literally undo any physical scars on her. In order to scar a Mage of her caliber you need to do so with a Divine weapon, Demonic Weapon, or a curse of sorts. Merlyn has had no such thing happen to her so far in her original verse! Though I like to think that Nimue maybe marked her with a curse she cannot take off herself.

                                       A place with no name.           

        A place literally empowered by Merlyn’s entire being. As someone so Eternal one can only imagine how finite such a magical place can be. Night and day is decided by the  crystal above the tower and if you would stretch your eyes upon the horizon you may find yourself sick. The line although endless, encircles where you begin. Such a place is best to not think about where you are and nor should you bother with whens. It merely is.  Places of importance: Alatnis. El Dorado. Vinland. ( Other places I only know well of these 3 )

Other Gods are below the one God, and are genuine miracles in an age of magic. There is the creator and then there are Gods, who were created by humans. 

Meryln in Original verses generally outside of Fate will treat any god outside of the Creator as miracles and will simply just agree with any characters interpretation of their Gods. Because yes they existed and reigned as a true deity she is not here to contort that.Also the MORE you believe they are true, the more likely they are to exist again. Merlyn insists on you believing harder.

Possible Original Verse Plot: Wanting to collect Gods to establish a “ Ley Line “ in a world that is current to our own Modern Time Line. As things in current there is no magic nor the age of gods and she merely wishes to breathe the power of Gods once more into her world. Her Earth before it dies. As Earth had always been slowly dying since the Age of Gods ceased to be.

Interesting thought: If Merlyn is the daughter of an Incubus and if demons are inherently fallen Angels. Angels having a interest in Humans and or loathing them. Merlyn being more or less a daughter of a fallen angel, could inherently be a part of the reason why she likes Humans from an outside perspective? :thinking emoji:

Tangent: The Earth is dying and human kind although always in turmoil with one another have reached a point where it has become catastrophic. Merlyn wishes to bring back an age of Gods merely to breathe life into the world as it had been in a Modern era.... Modern Era Magical Word is an aesthetic thing I need in my life. so lol.

She will wear lengths and often likes silk because so long as her body is covered. Her body will not inherently seduce anyone forcibly. Merlyn rather likes her curves and often wears silk because of it. She will cover her arms with gloves or long sleeved jackets. Or even a shawl. 

best physical feature: Her eyes, you can easily get lost in their vibrance.

LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE.

fears: Merlyn has no fears? Rather her fear would particularly be fully abandonment. As in the idea that the world could truly live without her existence. It kinda can? In most AU’s that fact kinda bothers her, she was born so... The way she was for her to have no importance breeds fear in her heart. However such a thing is hard to make her feel aware over. Especially when she also feels she wants to die and pass over; the anxiety is if I die what if the world needs me one day? As well so she is trapped. guilty pleasure(s): Sex--she actually likes Sex despite saying otherwise. Her other guilty pleasure is playing with other peoples hair. She adores touching peoples hair. biggest pet peeve: Individuals who act recklessly! However its weird because people who act and feel that whatever they do will surely be the right thing is a whole nother thing. Rather people who do whatever they want without care for consequence bother her a lot. ambitions for the future: For it to be thriving and living.

That is to say she can easily be swayed if a person has emotional value over her.

single or group dates: Merlyn would prefer Single dates, I dont think she is really a group person not that shes opposed to the nature? Shes a very intimate person entirely, and being that intimate in front of others can make her feel a bit weird. Again, not against doing group stuff. to be loved or respected: To be Loved. beauty or brains: Brains is really?? Intelligence yes? Emotional intelligence is what makes Merlyn’s gears pop happily in place. You could be the smartest person in the world and not know what to do with it. Merlyn would roll her eyes at you. dogs or cats: Both!

some merlyn thoughts Ive had:

Personality quips are hard especially struggling to establish the relevance of being a female character who is genuine, nice, but I dont want them to have that royal air--like. .... I feel like women characters who are Meant to be powerful and omnipotent have some sort of pressure on them that they cant be personality wise a certain way. They always have to be elegant and keep a face. I want merlyn to break that standard that shes all powerful but has a really normal and human like personality? Shes not hindered by too much going on that she is SO MUCH just free feeling.

shes not so depressed that everything she says will be painted in darkness or that she will be negative and act out in a depressive state. So what if she is guilty or upset that she regrets not being there for Arthur that she messed up and fell in love. That she was trapped and didnt care that she was going to be trapped--she regrets yes but this doesnt define her. No. She regrets and she accepts her feelings as they are and will allow herself the freedom to feel as much and at times the consenquence is bad but she will go along with it.          Again after all she let herself fall in love despite the fact she knew Nimue was going to trap her. 

Anger does not move her enough to act out on it because she merely finds it tactless and pointless. Rather if she is angry then something clearly is wrong--though short frustrations she has with characters like Zerker Cu or even Gawain are things she actually adores afterwards? She will laugh about it to herself that she could be so frustrated in this way over something small and simple? In a way of how in the world did i get so frustrated? However as a dragon she can easily get angered.     Further being ANGRY is not for someone who knows ultimately that people say things they do not mean. That people hold value in words that they do not understand. That to her people live in short time spans that they act so volatile and she cannot be angry at them.

fear... I dont think she can feel fear other then the fact she may fear messing up? No.. fear is a hard thing to paint for her i dont think she can feel fear when she knows what will happen. rather any fear would turn into a deep sadness. if she fears it would be that she fears -- i wrote it down to that she fears if she dies what will the world be like with out her? She fears only that her existence means nothing but at the same time she does not think of it.

Merlyn geniunely is free feeling and really caring of a character. her interest is to just be nice and live in the moment but inspire a future and give life to the idea that the future will always be full and anew.

she again acts always giving, if there is a time she can give she will! often do just that. she will not hold herself back from doing something she know she can help to do WHICH IS BETTER to paint on tumblr cause i can ask mun to mun ‘ ok can merlyn do this’ vs group stuff that happens randomly ndjkfgsd

       I should clarify Merlyn as a servant isnt actual existing Merlyn but. Merlyn as a servant is wholly aware of anything her real counterpart does and was originally gunna be different but since both ultimately feel and are of the same root. There is little variation between the two except maybe Servant Merlyn is more emotional? Possibly, Merlyn as a Servant was created for the sheer purpose of participating in the grail war. While Merlyn herself did as she ultimately pleased but the price to do that is very ultimatum in Fate world. I am not sure what the bottom line for it will be yet.         I digress, Caster Merlyn is a whole other entity except she is ultimately aware as if there is a life line between her and Actual Merlyn where things are shared and she might not understand why she loves Ushii until she as a servant meets him. Because as a seeress indeed she is all seeing and all knowing ( WHOA I WANT HER TO MEET YUEL FROM FF14 SUDDENLY ANYWAY ) it doesnt omit relevance of her thoughts in current toward her feelings. Forces her servant self to be aware of things she will never have lol. As she is trapped truly as a Servant of the Grail.       Im really all about thoughts =/= ( Doesnt equate ) to relevant feelings. As if to say you can know the future but that doesnt change the present. Im ALL ABOUT PAST VS PRESENT VS FUTURE. As if all 3 elements are things that interact with one another and can predominately change the course of everything that occurs under one tandem. Which was an important factor in Ushii and Merlyns relationship as we rp them together I see how often Merlyn thinks past them, and Ushii brings her back. Wow theyre so cute wtf.        So in one rp ( in a discord group ) Ushii is a master actually at Chaldea claps hands together, Merlyn already told him that shes not her because she didnt want to deal with that lie between them. And thusly Ushii is just kinda like ‘ oh wtf. ‘ That being said, Merlyn already is in love with him especially the moment she met him as a servant but she also realizes you know. Her counterpart is in love with him and she? Where does she fit in the picture as a servant? No where frankly. But loves him she does.        Though if Ushii became a servant * clutches chest* which PROLLY WONT HAPPEN CAUSE, which makes this all the more beautifully sad-- BECAUSE SECRETS. Caster Merlyn would be the happiest thing in the world esp as a Servant he should also be aware of /her/ and be aware of his importance as a servant. How generally everything works and the ethics behind it. And then know that merlyn as a servant would be aware of him so itd be a strange change but also the two just.

         So then the last tangent in this is Waver which kills me because this poor man cant cut a break. Apparently. Well, since Merlyn will prolly never meet ushii in comes this dude who generaly acts similar to him, most predominately looking like him. Seeing as Merlyn technically doesnt know who Ushii is perse. From an outside perspective she does, and retains this estrange feeling towards him. Waver just reminds her and makes her face these facts so Merlyn in herself becomes contorted. Merely just a reminder of something Merlyn as a Caster cant get to have, and it has nothing to do with Waver so thusly the selfishness derives in her discomfort in that as well. Especially when Merlyn acts kindly towards Waver and realizes the absolute folly in this! I like to think in the end of it all, Merlyn simply does as she does and just acts in kindness despite the sadness she retains because for her at least there is something? Rather then nothing? Who is she to incite otherwise?

        Im also curious how waver feels though dfgsdfg ash is a blessing for letting us have fun with this though!! Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE REALLY GOODNESS!!!

   I am a slow learner esp with fate stuff but it comes to my Attention Avalon is very sequential toward fate’s MERLIN interpretation. I almost think/assume/infer that Merlin literally stole Avalon and made it his own. Since Avalon was really not associated with Merlin outside of it being a place he often went to in Lore. Fate makes how Merlin get there confusing a bit; but I assume it merely was that Lovers Quarrel >> Merlin decides to seal HIMSELF in Avalon.    My Merlyn was SEALED up by Nimue in a place with NO NAME. Perhaps I will pull some values and make it that the Stone Hedge was the resting place of Merlyn seeing as its mentioned a few times that during the tower Vortigen wished to built.. The stone hedge may have been placed together around this time. And I know that Nimue in text trapped her “ Under “ a stone. A lovers stone actually but, well we may just infer that.    For Original stuff I can easy make this the case, and have it a done deal but Im threading along as the more information I come by with how slow a learner and researcher I am between Arthurian Legend and Fate stuff as well.      It is why tbh im thinking why Arthur tries to go to Avalon too cause he can go to avalon... Proto!Merlin didnt take it or seal it or anything. Which would be a bit sad if you think Merlin cant go to Avalon. Which will stay the same in my interpretation, Merlyn can’t go to Avalon either. Though in her world/universe and canon it does exist although hidden. Her soul is bound in this place and no matter how many times she will try to leave. She must always come back. Thanks Nimue.     Ive said before that!! Merlyn’s pocket dimension if you will, she lets things come in and collects a number of things especially magical entities/beasts/etc as the modern era rounds forward and magic becomes a less and less important hold on the world. Rather then let everyone go extinct or die off, she takes them into her dimension and thusly has created her own small world.      This may be where that Coven Verse can start, the importance of it and relevance to give to others is still something mulling within my heads as I plan to make sure what is offered in the verse can be fun and conclusive toward everyone interested.

My constant back track toward Merlyns actions always derive of

A person being like; ‘ I dont know what I should do. ‘ And whatever choice it is Merlyn either says ‘ MAKE THE CHOICE ‘ but if they are so burdened by it, merlyn would chose it for them.

That the words that would leave her mouth would more or less merely be, ‘ You dont have to waste moments thinking on what it is that you wish to do, merely let it be done. Live with it. And learn from it. There is so little time to not act on the things you want done. ‘

Ie if you want it done, do it. Merlyn will make sure the thing you want done is done with little consequence. Rather, whatever consequence occurs she will be there for you through it she will not leave you alone. But she wants you to know you cant sit there and wait. That consequence should be valued but not so much that it stops you from acting and living your life as a BARELY 100  year old individual.

The idea for her longevity as a immortal who wants to help the world grow is merely that.

                                        ‘ Dont wait, act. ‘

She lives on this and if you ever see her uncertain of things. Or unaware of what it is she should do, then you know its really something mind boggling. Or rather that the consequence directly effects her and the comfort of a tideful future. Making things complicated in the long run that involves her. Ultimately though, Merlyn will often be the first to act she isnt afraid of acting and is rather assertive in this regard.

If she show cases herself being shy, its often rare? There is no need for her to be shy. If it is her being shy it probably will be on her likes and discomfort in knowing the inevitable confrontation that will come of it like.  ie. if she omits that she likes having sex and the conversation need be shared, she will be shy to say it if the person hearing it will look poorly on her and she knows as much. 

It is hard to portray this actually          But shes very shounene esque.

For Merlyn there is no reason to wait especially for a mortal being. To her you must always act and go. Be forward, and dont hold yourself back from things that you feel you cannot over come. She want sto be that column to make it so whatever it is you face you can over come. Thats what she is.

  ᵒᵒᶜ                       I really hate roleplaying OMNIPOTENT or OVERPOWERED individuals and am always finding WAYS to make them weaker or hold them back be cause it bothers me that a character can be so existing. And so better with no real correlation for it. I like typemoon because no matter how many people will write essays about their fave being so powerful. The truth is Nasu writes things with equal reason. Much of Fate’s shit has a reason for it happening regardless of whether you like it or not and also has a draw back toward it most times  (  looks at sieg because sometimes he just kinda ... over looks that ). He writes things almost mathematically and I commend him for that.                   Regardless I was thinking a lot on Merlyn’s memories and how important she is and how clairvoyant she was. I thought it would be interesting to see the more she sees of the future the less she remembers of the past. She can see the future and know as much as she wants, but what has happened and what can be important to her can equally be lost.                       This is a wonderful trade off and also is a fact that the human brain can only remember so much before it automatically begins over lapping things or releasing memories. Or mindfully letting loose details etc. To make room for new information as well, and although i believe merlyn uses all of her brain power. That is to use magic etc. This doesnt over look her mass collection of memories over thousands of years.                       So yes, she is all knowing? But the price she need pay for it means one day forgetting completely the things she may hold most important to her.

       O O C                     Merlyn shape shifted her body to look less monstrous. Tbh when she was         born I mentioned she looked like a monster; she indeed merely altered her         being to look otherwise: Human.         Angels have often been written/discussed as having a horrendous look          as well as demons. Merlyn is the by product of a demon. HER BODY is         a demon. She is one step below an angel or demon. And ultimately has         God’s love and grace as they blessed her with their benevolence.          Merlyn has a third eye, that is how she can fore tell the future. The Third         eye is sealed by the gem upon her fore head. The only one who will ever         see it. Or canonly be aware of it is Nimue.          Dragons were often iterated in literature, legend, biblical reference as a         demon like entity. It is the main reason Merlyn has the capability of transforming         into one. As it is a beast type, it should be impossible. But Merlyn herself is          for lack or a better word. Still associated with being a beast; making it easy for         her to transform into one. For my own preference because i love dragons, id         even say its her preference of being sometimes.         In her FATE verse Merlyn stole excalibur from Nimue and killed herself with it         in the middle of being sealed away. This permanently caused her existence to         cease from existing on the universal plane that most fate canons are at. Allowing         her to exist in the grail. Her wish and intent is to wish for her freedom/life back in         a grail war. ( Actually lets put this on hold regardless she killed herself )

             ᵒᵒᶜ      Merlyn has Excalibur as well as its sheathe, its a bit of a wonder how she has both. But often times you will see her disrespect it a bit as she similarly uses it the way Gil uses his weapons. But she never holds it and instead flings it around rather rudely... In her eyes the weapon always belonged to the Lady of the Lake. As such, she treats it as any heart broken ex would treat their Ex lovers items... Ok maybe thats wrong to say do not learn by Merlyn’s example but yes... She throws it the fuck around because ‘ fuck ‘ the Lady of the Lake.                         Alternatively her NP being a king maker and bestowing a sort of ‘ Excalibur ‘ unto you, she is again. Taking Excalibur and changing it around to her hearts content. Arthur might see this as disrespectful perhaps but Excalibur was his tool. And he had many weapons. Due to its gift coming from the Lady of the lake it holds more importance to Merlyn then Arthur actually.                          Her NP is more about giving you the power to change fate vs excalibur as a whole. Excalibur is more of a by product of this.
