betrayal.     that is the only thing blair could associate with serena.     liar.     fake friend.     she slept with the only guy blair has ever known.     blair      &     nate were child hood swearts.     they grew up together.     but she always knew there was something between them.     she just always thought that it had been the three of them against the world.     how wrong had she been.     serena’s words didn’t hurt.     especially because blair didn’t consider her a friend anymore.     not after the night nate had told her the truth.     when serena came to see her,     blair expected it.     she knew it was coming.     the question was     did she care?     not anymore.      ❛❛     friends don’t sleep with other friends’ boyfriends either.     but if you think that is anything compared to what you did for me,     you are more stupid than i thought.     because nothing i do,     nothing i say,     will ever be as bad as what you did.       ❜❜

things weren’t right for blair     &     nate for a long time now.     it didn’t even have to do with him sleeping with her best friend.     blair just realized that nate didn’t love her.     he was only staying with her because of their parents.     &     that wasn’t a relationship that blair intended on keeping.     she wanted to be with someone that loved her unconditionally     &     that wanted to always be with her.     &     when they weren’t,     that they would miss her.     but now,     nate had offered to be there for her as her friend.     at least that’s what it sounded like.      ❛❛     you have no idea how long i have been wanting to hear that, nate.     but i don’t want you to feel pressured like you have to.     even though it is kind of nice to hear.     ❜❜
