it had taken so much for rhea to just admit to herself to admit what she had been feeling in that moment. thierry was her long time friend but he was also the man that she had loved for so long. yet when he had told her, she didn't say anything. not a single word. she had also ended up friend zoning him because she was scared of her feelings. feelings that rhea ripley wasn't supposed to have. the only thing that was supposed to matter to her was the womens championship belt, something that she had worked her entire life to hold. now there was the fact that liv not only ended up getting under dom's skin but there was also a history of her hooking up with thierry. as mad as rhea was, she had to keep her calm. otherwise she was really about to explode. ❝ are you sure, t? i don't want to mess up any of your plans. i know you weren't expecting me to just show up like this. ❞ he was asking her the billion dollar question. a question that she wanted to answer for him but didn't know where to start. ❝ liv and dom have been hooking up behind my back. the women who injured me and stole my title, he betrayed me. he's one of the only people in my life that i actually trusted. looks like liv is taking every man in my life away from me. but you know something? dom isn't the person i thought he was. he's not who i want to be with. he never was. the person that i've always wanted to be with has been there this whole time and i've been too blindsided to see it. ❞

one    leg    was     pulled     up    to    his    chest        ,      as    he     kept     his     eyes    fixated    on     her.          most    would    be    intimidated     to    even    make     eye     contact    with     her      ,       but    that    wasn’t     the    case.        if    anything       ,       thierry     was    so    comfortable    with    her     that     offense    could    be    taken    if    he     didn’t     look    at    her.           he     could    tell    she     was     hurt      ;      betrayed     even.         granted       ,       thierry     had    a    past    history     with     liv    herself     ( if you considered physical a past  history )       ,        but    with    his     apologies    and    true     feelings    rhea     had    against     liv       ,       he     broke     all    ties.     ❝    you’re    not     going     to     a     hotel      ....         -      you     know    you    can     stay     as     long    as     you    want.      ❞            and    he     meant     it.          thierry    took    the    opportunity    to     spend     time     with     rhea    without    their    busy     schedules     being    in    the    way.       

     ❝     you    know     i    won’t     bring    it    up    again        ,       but     i’m    here     if     you     want     to    talk     about    it    rhea.           in     the    meantime       ,        are    you     up    for    sight-seeing     tomorrow       ?     i    just    have     a     quick    morning    practice     for    the     olympics       ,       but     i’ll    be     free    after     that.      ❞
