Life as a form-changing Master of the Mystic Arts

[Synopsis]: Just an Eldritch Master and their gender identities.

[(A/N)]: 🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month, everyone!!!🏳️‍🌈 Sorry I didn’t post this sooner. I was trying to create something for this month’s important celebration.

[(A/N #2)]: I hope I didn’t offend others who are part of the LGBT+ Community for this post as my TWST MC OC is both Omnisexual and Gender-fluid. The actual reason why I created this OC is the Disney: Twisted Wonderland game has no specific gender of the MC as it’s not a Otome Game, it’s an adventure type game and it can be played by anyone (Male, Female, Nonbinary, etc). So I thought it would be cool to have an MC/Yuu on this blog who would be someone that represents everybody in the both the TWST community and LGBTQA+ community. No matter who the players are as long as they’re having fun and interacting with their favorite characters without any harm in the way. Miyeon: Oh, thanks. I got these pins since it represents of who I am and my sexuality. There’s actually a month celebrating the LGBT+ community back in my world. I appreciate you guys for respecting my well-being as I’m not quite sure there’s a month that is celebrated in Twisted Wonderland.

Azul: Actually there is a month for the celebration here.

[(A/N): Let’s just say Pride Month also exists in Twisted Wonderland. Unless someone tells me otherwise.]

Miyeon: Really? Wait a minute. Are there big corporations that also take advantages of the celebration by promoting their brands as “LGBT+ friendly” for capitalism purposes? It happens back in my world every time.

Azul: Is that so? That’s quite unfortunate.

Miyeon: Azul, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking, it’s like an insult for everyone who actually cares.

Azul: Oh no. I would never commence such disadvantage for only a month. Who do you think I am?

Miyeon: Not a Pride-phobic octo-businessman.

Azul: Exactly. However, I will be promoting a limited special menus dedicated to Pride Month.

Miyeon: Of course.

Deuce: I see you changed your form again. What are your pronouns this time?

Minjun: He/Him or They/Them. I’m fine with both sets.

Deuce: Oh okay.

Mi-rae: They/Them now.

Deuce: Oh, got it.

Random Savanaclaw Student: Why does Leona hang with that professor? She’s nothing but trouble whenever we rough-house.

Jack: *Interrupts the student* They’re going by Mi-rae now and their pronouns are They/Them.

Random Savanaclaw Student: Oh, sorry. I mean they’re nothing but trouble whenever we rough-house.

Miyeon: My male form is based on an idol of my favorite boy group and my androgynous form was an idea from a Norse god who almost destroyed New York back in my world. I’m not proud of what they did at the time but he taught me some tricks to be able to hold up the illusions, fooling bad people. You could say I appreciate their lessons and even taught me to love myself and my identities.

Lilia: That’s lovely, dear. Though are you not sparring with Sebek?

Miyeon: I casted an illusion that he’s a baby crocodile being hunted by a Croc-killer. That should keep his adrenaline going.

Lilia: Oh. Such imagination.

Miyeon: He almost busted my eardrums boasting about how great Malleus is.

[In the background is Sebek screaming and running away from Silver for his life.]

Lilia: Should you lift up the illusion by now?

Miyeon: Five more minutes.

[NRC Campus]

[The Eldritch Master and anyone staying by them were fighting against another Overblot.]

Epel: MI-RAE! WATCH OUT!!!

Minjun: *Thrown off and crashes into the campus fountain* It’s Minjun!

Miyeon: So any plans for the weekend?

Crewel: The same as usual. What about your plans?

Miyeon: Attending the Pride Festival some of my students mentioned during class. Every year a family member of mine would come with me to show support and love during that time. Too bad things would be different as I’m stuck here until I find a way back home. *Sighs* I miss them…

Crewel: *Felt a “little” sorry* I’m coming with you.

Miyeon: What?

Crewel: You heard me. I’ll accompany you to the festival since you said a family member always come to show support. Since you view me as an older sibling figure, I count as one.

Miyeon: Aww Crewel…

Trein: You know he would only come to judge everyone’s fashion choices.

Miyeon: I know, but it’s still sweet for my brother figure/colleague.

OOC: Hi! This is Miyeon’s creator.

So how did Miyeon grew into the said Magic? Her mother was formally a student in the arts back in Kamar-Taj before meeting her father. It was the time before The Ancient One passed away.

Choi found out when she rummaged through old stuff hidden away in their parent’s closet. Old attire and photographs of many students learning The Mystic Arts. (There’s even old written notes about some spells to conjure up with.) During when she was about 11 years old, her mother gifted Miyeon her Sling Ring. She was instructed to open a portal while thinking which place to travel to. Then a portal opens up to the New York Sanctum, meeting Doctor Strange and Wong the first time.

Strange took Choi in as his first student and ever since then, they soon became their own master.

Miyeon’s parents are not Asgardian. Her mother became an English literature professor at a prestigious Korean university and her father runs a popular restaurant which has discounts for college/high school students. They also have an older sibling who I’m not going to mention since I’m trying to continue my story with Miyeon Choi and her adventures in Twisted Wonderland.

With how they learned about some knowledge of Asgardian Magic is when Miyeon was learning from Strange back in New York, she stumbled upon The God of Mischief hidden in plain sight when he’s not causing any mischief yet. The God himself taught young Choi a few tricks that would benefit their future studies. For New Asgard, Choi found out when she and her family went to Norway for a Christmas vacation and found themselves into New Asgard. (They felt empathy for Thor.)

Miyeon Choi is not like the Scarlet Witch. Sure, they experienced the worst during the aftermath of Infinity War. Except they actually got treatment for their mental trauma after losing most of their Avenger colleagues, her mentor, and worse, somebody she knew who was close to her.

As for where they jumped off in the Marvel Universe (MCU), they originally started their actions when after Doctor Strange was captured by “Squidward” during the Infinity War and they want to join in to help everyone. (Side note: She was 13 at that time since ENDGAME happened after five years from Thanos successfully executing his plans.) Choi also fell into Twisted Wonderland before Far From Home and No Way Home.

About the relationships with the boys and the Staff. Well…

[Heartslabyul]

Miyeon Choi -> Riddle Rosehearts

After the Overblot incident with Riddle, the two started getting along when Rosehearts needs some management on his anger given by the young Eldritch Master.

Choi shares some history of their home country to the Heartslabyul Dorm Leader. Like the Joseon Era and how the kingdom functioned back then.

Also Choi calls him 동생 [Doseong] after classes which means Little Sibling in Korean. (No pun intended- Sorry, Riddle.)

Miyeon Choi -> Ace Trappola

That one annoyed friend.

Almost banished him from day one because he acted like a little shit to both Grim and his future professor/friend.

He gained some respect (and little fear) after witnessing Choi brutally taking down the Overblot monster back in the mines from the Prologue episode.

Miyeon Choi -> Deuce Spade

A supportive friend and Deuce was amazed by Miyeon’s magic. She told him it’s all about practice, trials and errors to be powerful enough.

Choi helps Deuce study on harder lessons and cheers him on for everything.

Choi would also help Deuce prevent causing trouble if his “Delinquent Side” get the best of him.

Miyeon Choi -> Trey Clover

A helpful friend if things get hectic in the Heartslabyul kitchen for upcoming Un-Birthday parties.

Trey would be grateful for Choi’s help cleaning up messes left behind.

The two are basically like parental figures except they’re only friends.

Miyeon Choi -> Cater Diamond

The kind of friend who shows trends back from their world and Cater wants to start them on MagiCam.

Warns Cater to not borrow the Sling Ring for destination selfies or he’ll probably end up in another dangerous dimension.

She introduced Cater to music from her world and shows some choreography behind the songs.

Miyeon Choi -> Leona Kingscholar

They earned some respect from Leona after almost beating him to death during his Overblot.

The two only got to a level of close acquaintances to sibling-like friends as he sneaks into the Sanctum as a napping place to avoid Ruggie or any responsible duties.

Choi and Leona sometimes fight like every sibling for stupid reasons.

Miyeon Choi -> Ruggie Bucchi

Obviously an acquaintance at first to Ruggie and become friends on better terms.

Later, Choi shared some Kimchi recipes with him after noticing his knowledge to plants used as survival essentials.

The two sometimes pull harmless pranks together at each other with Ruggie using his Unique Magic while Choi uses her Asgardian level illusions.

Miyeon Choi -> Jack Howl

She earned major respect from him after demonstrating that they’re a hero from her world.

They told him stories of their adventures, The Infinity War, and taking down a rogue Titan.

They would be workout buddies.

Miyeon Choi -> Azul Ashengrotto

Arch nemesis as he provoked someone powerful enough who could literally tear him apart.

Azul is sometimes scared of Choi since his Overblot and witnessing how insane they act if her friends/students are in major trouble.

Whenever they’re not on strict terms, Choi would offer something on the Monstro Lounge menu like inspiration from her father’s restaurant.

Miyeon Choi -> Jade Leech

Acquaintances at best as the two aren’t that close.

The only times they’re together are if Jade wanted to find other species of mushrooms so Choi obliged to open a portal to a random location where mushrooms grow.

Choi would surprise Jade with mushroom associated presents whenever she shops for supplies. (Mushroom pins, mushroom clip-ons, etc.)

Miyeon Choi -> Floyd Leech

Definitely enemies/fighting buddies as Choi isn’t afraid of this Leech brother, but irritated by his “squeezing” technique.

One time she punched him straight to his guts and he yelps in pain because he squeezed the Eldritch Master too hard.

Floyd nicknamed them “Mantis Shrimp” because of the Kamar-Taj attire/the bright-colored Durumagi Choi wears and she fights hard. Really hard.

[Scarabia]

Miyeon Choi -> Kalim al Asim

Definitely became friends when after Jamil’s Overblot.

They made sure to try helping him academically with tutoring as well as simple everyday tasks like laundry.

They tell stories of her life back home and Kalim would be mesmerized by everything Choi went through.

Miyeon Choi -> Jamil Viper

Somewhat acquaintances as even though Choi was displeased for Jamil’s actions of his Overblot, they’ll give him benefit of the doubt after learning his backstory.

Secretly, Jamil would be calling Choi whenever he spots a bug and this happened one time when visiting the Scarabia Dormitory.

Jamil would secretly be grateful for Choi to help him unload other responsibilities he needed to perform.

Miyeon Choi -> Vil Schöenheit

True frenemies as the two both disagree on how to train everyone during the VDC event (Chapter 5).

Though they give each other pointers for improving their best.

Vil helps organize Choi’s fashion sense as the young master doesn’t have much to wear except what she been wearing since the Ceremony Night. Also sometimes does their makeup.

Miyeon Choi -> Rook Hunt

To Choi, enemies.

To Rook, friends who play prey and predator.

She sensed the hunter when he is hiding for his “observation” on everyone and opens a portal to catch Rook.

Miyeon Choi -> Epel Felmier

Two peas in a pod.

Epel wants to do physical training like Choi and they accepted him to be his training buddy.

Choi would help Epel escape from his Etiquette classes to do other activities.

Miyeon Choi -> Idia Shroud

From the beginning after Choi arrived to TWST, the two never meet from the beginning. Though she only heard of the Shroud Heir through Ortho during auditions for VDC. There’s something else between the two: Idia already knows who they are.

How?

You’ll find out when I’ll write further into my story. All I can say is the fight during Idia’s Overblot is gonna be epic.

Miyeon Choi -> Ortho Shroud

Sees him as a little brother they never had.

Ortho already knows who Choi is, but he kept it a secret.

They would play together if they have the free time.

Miyeon Choi -> Malleus Draconia

At first, Choi was suspicious of Malleus because they sense powerful magic emitting from the Future King.

After realizing he isn’t much of a possible enemy, they started a friendship together.

The two would do the Nightly Walks together, talking about anything.

Miyeon Choi -> Lilia Vanrouge

She already knows he’s way older than he deceives, but still treats him like he’s a friend.

Both of them would share music/plays games together.

Obviously not a fan of Lilia’s cooking. (They will discreetly open a portal and dump the “food” out. She’s not the only one who uses the portals as Malleus, Silver and Sebek used them too.)

Miyeon Choi -> Silver

Met him through Lilia.

They’re are acquaintances to each other.

Choi would lend her durumagi as a blanket for Silver when he’s sleeping or drags his unconscious body back to Lilia.

Miyeon Choi -> Sebek Zigvolt

Almost strangled him to death- (Don’t worry, the First Year gang held Choi back before homicide was charged.)

Clearly enemies with each other as Sebek was in disbelief a “human” would be strong enough to become a master in the arts.

Choi isn’t a fan of Sebek as he almost busted her ears from his yelling. Though they still tolerate each other’s presences.

[Ramshackle]

Miyeon Choi -> Grim

Obviously friends, but Grim denies the fact as he refers himself “The Great Grim” and Choi as his “henchperson”.

He’s unofficially Choi’s mentee so he’ll probably try opening portals with their Sling Ring. (It didn’t end well.)

He’s secretly gratefully that he’s with Choi as he’ll attend NRC and has plenty to feed for himself.

Good colleagues to each other.

Choi views Trein as a strict grandparent who knows what would be best for his grandchildren/child and vice versa, he views the temporary professor as like a student, but with more knowledge.

Miyeon Choi -> Coach Vargas

Vargas is glad there’s someone who is physically capable while Choi is not that fond of the coach.

Miyeon Choi -> Mister Sam

Great shop owner/customer relationship.

OOC: Hello! I hope this isn’t too much to fill in since you asked anyone about their OCs. I have an OC who sounds interesting and they’re sort of a TWST MC OC.

Their name is Miyeon Choi [최미연] and they technically fill in the MC role when first arriving to Twisted Wonderland after an incident happened back in her world.

She’s 18 years old and not magicless like from the original storyline. They’re a powerful magic user trained in the Mystic Arts (Eldritch Magic) and mastered some Asgardian Magic while minor in other variations. Miyeon is like on the same level as their mentor Dr. Stephen Strange. They can also change their physical form thanks to some Asgardian magic so the versions of this OC are:

Miyeon Choi - Female Form

Minjun Choi - Male Form

Mi-rae Choi - Androgynous Form

Earlier to why I mentioned Doctor Strange is because she’s from the Marvel Universe (MCU).

Before they traveled to TWST, back in her world she experienced both The Infinity War and ENDGAME which she suffered mentally, but also something else in her past that isn’t revealed yet.

She didn’t become an NRC student, but instead became a temporary professor because of her knowledge in unfamiliar magic (that would also be useful if it gets to fulfill Crowley’s pettiness beating RSA.) Grim would still attend the college as an unintentional mentee of Choi.

As for the relationships with the main TWST characters. From the beginning, Miyeon originally can’t build bonds as they need to return home because their universe is filled with hidden enemies and other species of aliens. Except that plan backfired because the young Eldritch Master learned these boys are mentally screwed up. This left Miyeon saddened so many times after discovering why everyone became who we know now.

Everyone who is connected with Miyeon Choi is a mix of friends and acquaintances. Some are like sibling figures to each other. (There’s also one guy who would have a special relationship with her.)

I also have so many questions. Like, how did they grow into their magic so fast? Are they Asguardian or did they just learn from loki? Are they aware of new Asgard? How did strange come to have them under his wing? They seem to have similar powers to the scarlet witch, are they their universes version of that? Where did they jump off the MCU timeline and into this one?

Out of curiosity, what are their relationships like with the twst boys? Which characters are they closest to? Do they dislike any of them? Do they have an arch nemesis or a frenemy?
