seojun felt a bit lost. sure he knew he could have done better but there was always that nagging feeling like he had let everyone down and he hated feeling that way. at least he knew this would push him to do better plus the perfectionist in him would make sure it happened.

that's why he's seeking the comfort of his best friend, wanting to be near him. plus he knew haneul could always make him feel better even while the two of them were practicing. he kept close to the other before he decided he should be practicing instead. he didn't wanna be rusty at all if he could help it.

"hannie, do you know if there's something i can do better to make myself not fade away into the background?" he couldn't help but ask the other, wanting to know if his best friend knew something. "it's fine if you don't know. it's just been on my mind."

he lets himself stretch a bit before he finds himself beside the other, nuzzling against him a bit. he was feeling extra affectionate at the moment and knew his indifference would take over later at some point.

seojun knows that he can only give what he's feeling with all this and he's just grateful that yuji was the one who he got to talk to. not that his other friends wouldn't help but he wouldn't know how to go about it or if he'd even be able to ask for advice. he should just confess already instead of holding onto it all but that's easier said than done.

he feels it will only be positive though which is a good thing. he just needs to say that he likes his best friend instead of acting like there has to be a perfect moment. if he wants this, he has to say how he feels plus he senses that haneul would actually consider his feelings. though a part of him thinks that the other likes him the same way.

he takes a bite of more of his food, trying to do something else than overthink. "that's true plus it would stop the overthinking as well."

thinking over yuji's words carefully, seojun can already picture the best way he'd confess to his best friend. "well, it would be on our day off. i want it to be at our apartment and i'd make his favorite meals which we'd get to enjoy alongside each other. want it to be comfortable and not be something so over the top."

yuji tilts her head to the side, eyes lifting back to him the moment he speaks. she only observes as much as he speaks, giving a little hum when he's finished. she bites at the side of her lip, gathering her thoughts carefully.

if what seojun says is true, then surely making some sort of move would only make for a positive outcome, right? if not-- what other factors are there? are there misunderstandings? a miscommunication somewhere in between? is seojun's proposed crush leading him on?

yuji taps a nail on the side of her tray. "at the very least, it'd give you some peace on the what are we front." she drops her gaze back down to take another bite.

"let me wrack your brain a bit," yuji says after a moment. "if you had to do like a, picture perfect confession scene to your person, what do you have in mind?"

there's still a rush hitting seojun after they performed on stage. he always felt that way when he did something in front of an audience so he needed to do something to focus his energy into something else. he's in his kiki costume and a part of him is already feeling embarrassed. why did he want to be true to the movie? he didn't know why but he's not going to go against his decision. he makes a beeline to haneul though, finding the other in the cat costume too cute. he latches onto his best friend, feeling a bit more affectionate at moment. plus he knows the other is his safe space when it comes to anything and he hopes that haneul feels the same way with him.

"hannie, should we go get more autographs at all?" he knows he tried to get some earlier but performing clouded his mind soon after. right now, all he wanted to do was spend time with his best friend who he also still had to confess to. sure the pinning was there but parts of him wanted to do more and that side was growing every day. he didn't pull away from haneul, letting out a sigh of content at being this close. though he couldn't help but mess with the ears of the other's costume.

maybe he was just whipped but he wasn't going to delve into that.

"unless you wanna do something else? we can show off our costumes or mingle a bit." he smiles as he looks at the other. anything they did together, he'd be happy about. they could just eat snacks and he'd be content.

seojun feels a bit lost. he doesn't like feeling this way but he can't help it. he wants to get out of the danger zone and show that he deserves to be here beside the others. it's one thing he is excited about and he's getting used to living with the others. maybe he can prove himself with their performance they have to do. he wants people to have their eyes on him and show that he has the stage presence to do so. he did the same thing when he was in next gen and that turned out well for him so he's keeping that mindset from that.

that's how he ended up beside noel to practice dancing as well as singing. the other male was doing a good job at being a leader and since they were friends, he knew he could trust him with anything. stretching a bit, he looks over at noel with a small smile. "so... you nervous about performing in front of everyone?" he knows it's a lot but he can't wait to see what the others will think about their performance. he even has the mask he is gonna wear so no one knows it's him.

seojun wasn't one that was a people person per say. he could be an awkward mess if there was someone new he was meeting. he relied on his roommate a ton to make sure that he didn't get that way but he couldn't do that now. at this moment he had to just deal but at least with learning more about eunwol, he didn't feel quite as much as an awkward mess like he could be. he found they had similar interests which helped a ton in his eyes.

right now he was sitting with the other at a local café since he though it was the perfect place for them to talk. he wanted to know about eunwol's dreams and maybe just maybe he could be a little cheerleader for him if he needed cheering up. he'd find out surely since he prided himself on being a good listener no matter who he was with. "so what's something you've always wanted to do? wanna hear about your dreams. i can share mine as well."

"really? i'll be sure to avoid doing so then. i'll let you use a water gun on me." another laugh left his lips, not minding the joking between them. sure there wasn't any tension between them but he was sure it eased things a bit for tae. "good. we'll see how this goes." he take his hand, giving it a shake to seal the deal. "oh if you win, promise i won't get sick of it." seojun liked the confidence his friend had and it just made him wanna do the best he could himself.

he kept his gaze on him, noticing that the other was already lost in thought. he got that this was hard. sure his own situation was different but it still made him uncertain as well. "it can be but i feel that pushing past that fear is best." he knew pushing to express your feelings could be scary but he wanted the best for tae and didn't want him to throw it all away. taking a risk was hard but life was about risks especially ones that would make you happy.

thinking carefully, seojun made sure to say things right. "that can happen but what if they feel the same. you'll never know unless you try and i'm sure the other party involved deserves to know what's going on." he knew tae was talking about himself and if anything he felt whoever this friend was that he was crushing on needed to hear what was going on. "that would be too easy though. the heart wants what it wants at the end of the day so taking a leap to get that might be what needs to happen."

"true you should avoid especially, because they're not me. it wouldn't be as good." it was easy with seojun, he got his jokes and that helped bring down the stress he was allowing himself to feel. he had been worried about bringing it up but seojun was a friend and friends can help. "you have a deal." he held out his hand to shake on it. "just don't sick of buying me coffee after the third day." tae was in it to win it.

his eyes settled on the line that was moving forward, "sounds like a plan..." muttered, clearly lost in his own thoughts. seojin advice was sound and tae asked, knowing he already had his answer. it wasn't the same as seojun's but he had to ask. "maybe i fear the unknown too much." he didn't want to know. he'd rather be the one to call it off and lose a friend that way. not because of how he felt. what if it was too much pressure? what if things weren't the same. he hated the what ifs.

still, he found himself asking, turning to seojun. "but what if they don't feel the same way and i...my friend...ends up loosing out on both. the line moved again and tae let out a sigh. "if only...my friend could shove it down and forget about it all."

a lot was on seojun's mind at the moment. sure he had to deal with being a trainee as well as keeping up with university but that wasn't on his mind at all. all his thoughts were on his best friend especially the feelings he had for him. he had told himself that he needed to somehow let the other know his feelings and with them being at the same company as well as roommates, their were plenty of chances waiting.

he had taken the time to do something for his best friend, wanting to impress the other even if he didn't have to. usually haneul was the one who cooked but he wanted to try and made the other's favorite meal as well as make an environment that let them relax together.

they both deserved some time to relax and maybe he could stop pinning and finally confess but he'd see what happened.

he finally got everything set up and was waiting patiently for haneul. even gom was waiting, his eyes glued to a certain spot as if the other would magically appear there. it was cute and he loved how much gom adored his best friend. he had made sure to send a text to the other, ready for him to get here.

hello! just throwing this out here! i’d love to get more threads going for everyone i play here! still gonna be keeping the threads i have unless it is discussed to end them. gonna make little blurbs about my three to maybe spark ideas if i can. please like or lmk if you'd like a thread. even just sending a random emoji for a random starter is fine by me <3

seojun needs more non-trainee threads going for him since i feel he needs to get out there more instead of seeming to hole himself up with training. this is a things he'd do though lol. he needs a little fun in his life but is up for anything pretty much. maybe he can get out of his awkwardness this way too.

hyejin is more extroverted than seojun so i feel she'd be all for being dragged around. maybe she can be at a club to dance or even just do something involving kpop in general since she's a fan. if she has someone to ramble with about different groups, she'd be happy.

since he's more free than the other two, jae can do whatever honestly. he usually goes out on weekends and tends to be flirty when the chance arises. he can be dragged anywhere and be just fine and content no matter what. it's just his personality it seems.

seojun is still reeling from learning that they could possibly debut. it was always a dream of his but it all felt like it was within his grasp now. he wanted nothing more than to keep pushing himself to achieve that. he went from being someone who was just busking whenever possible to getting signed to lime entertainment after being on next gen. it's still a lot to wrap his head around. he wants to debut with everyone that is in project green right now. it just feels right and he hopes no one else has to leave.

seojun isn't one to brag especially when it comes to his dancing but it's one thing he's proud of. besides anyone to compliments him on it, he ends up becoming a flustered mess before letting out a soft thank you. though he knew how to watch things carefully when it came to dancing so he's glad that he get to analyze this with noel. "we most likely have to and will need to adjust a bit to get the formation correct so it look great on video." maybe the part of his mind so focused on choreo was on overdrive so he made sure to look over ever single part critically even with himself.

seojun can't help but feel giddy about the news of project green being a means for a new group to debut. it's what he has wanted since he first saw idols on tv. he just has to keep proving himself and he'll get the chance to debut alongside the rest of his fellow project green members. he's gonna push to give the best performance possible and keep showing that this is what he wants. he's out of the danger zone but he knows he can't get comfortable. he just has to keep working hard and improve no matter what happens. seojun is beside noel and makes sure to focus all his attention on the performance video them filmed. they had to make sure it was amazing so getting to do so many different times was helpful. "it does, we could work on the formation a bit here to make it look natural." he answers back, knowing that his mind was reeling with the dance and movements for the choreography. he nods his head before he answers. "yeah, gotta get them to be even with the spacing from one another when it comes to this. one little difference can throw it all off."

noel can’t quite stop thinking about the possibility of debut. two years ago his interest for dance hadn’t even started, and now look how far he’d come? from joining next gen with barely any skill under his wing, to getting a contract with lime. and now he’d worked hard, had become a skilled dancer, and he was in project green, the possibility of debut, he’d never been this close to possibly debuting. and noel wanted it, he really really wanted to debut, and he wanted his fellow project green members to debut as well.

noel might not want to say it out loud, but he thinks him and seojun are the most skilled dancers at the moment in project green, so though haneul and luciel are the leaders at the moment, he figures it might make sense for noel and seojun to help out as well. he nods “when we dances it looked fine, but the formation doesn’t look as good on video, so we’ll probably have to re-take the video, a slight adjustment will make a big difference”.

seojun likes this. he hasn't seen joomi in a bit and at least he can enjoy himself instead of cowering somewhere. he's done that too many times before in the past and hopes he doesn't do so again. he's preparing to hopefully debut one day so he wants to be able to feel at ease no matter what occurs.

"it really is. gives us a little break which i'm all for." he smiles, his own eyes glancing around before focusing back on his punch which he decides to try a bit. everyone is enjoying themselves and dressed in so many unique costumes. makes him wanna get even more creative for next year. though he knows it will be something alongside his best friend since it's become their thing to dress up as a pair.

hearing that, seojun knows he can't really reveal much of anything. they even had to wear masks when performing in front of everyone. all he can do is just let out a sigh and pretend he didn't know as joomi said. he can't help but give a playful smile upon hearing that. "yeah? some are just eager to share things which isn't too bad." though the thought of being like one of the seniors one day just makes him smile.

seojun is a good sport about joomi's questionable joke, so he grins, both relieved and a little amused. "that's good," he says with a nod. when he thinks about it, seojun has been pretty busy in the past year since that fateful halloween. he was a coach on next gen, and joomi can only assume he's part of the same project jinyoung is as a lime trainee.

"it's nice that they just let us have fun for halloween," he comments, turning to look around at the rest of the trainees (and senior artists) mingling at the party, or collecting candy and signatures. everyone works so hard. they deserve to have some fun every now and then, and he's glad the entertainment companies seem to agree. it's also cool that they let the trainees take part in this massive tradition, even if it isn't a public event for them like it is for their seniors.

"you might be one of our seniors soon, huh?" he decides to make conversation. "you can pretend you don't know what i'm talking about if you're legally obligated to keep it a secret," he adds lightheartedly. "i just know someone in lime. well, a few people in lime," he laughs, because that much is obvious, isn't it? "i mean, i know someone that has blabbed to me a little about the project group."

honestly, seojun didn't expect to be a coach. he almost felt out of his element in a way since he never taught others how to do anything. he just learned what he had to and went from there. so getting the chance to be apart of season two of next gen as a coach was an honor for him. he would do his best and help any contestant who needed it. He felt he was good at dancing and singing so he could coach with either of those. his rapping was getting there but he wasn't going to teach someone that if he didn't have to.

his eyes scan the room full of others practicing the song that had to perform before he caught sight of hyunki. he could tell the other was hung up on something and if he had to guess, it was what the judges said. it reminded him of himself during the first episode of the first season of next gen. he felt at a loss but ended up pushing himself to show his best which turned out to work in the end. maybe he could encourage hyunki in some way.

walking over to the other, he does his best not to spook him and offers a smile. "hey, noticed you seemed a bit down. you can tell me how you are feeling if you'd like while i help you with getting the steps and vocals down for the song. you don't have to tell me a thing if you don't want to though." he let him know since he didn't want to force the boy if he didn't feel like sharing.
