seojun could feel the nerves hitting him as he waited backstage. he dreamed of this happening and he still couldn't believe he was getting to do this. he watched idols perform on music shows many times before and he was getting to do the same. he wondered if his family would watch this whenever it was broadcasted. he knew he'd want to hear what they'd think.

he glances at the other members, gauging how they are feeling. at least he has them to lean on and doesn't have to do this alone. he makes his way over to noel as he tries to calm his nerves. they got this and it will go over well. that's what he keeps repeating to himself to keep pushing the anxious feelings down. "look at us. getting to perform our song on a music show. i feel the nerves are high right now." he admits as he keeps his gaze on his friend.

seojun can't help the small smile that spreads across his lips. it at least stops him from laughing which he doesn't want to do in this moment. "don't feel like going?" he asks innocently, a bit curious himself. he's usually focused on his own schedule and sees other trainees whenever on breaks unless they take the same classes together.

he nods his head at hear words. "the way you carry yourself. most trainees who have been here longer, you don't see unless passing by them on the way to different classes." he says even if she doesn't say anything back to it. he'd just feel bad if he didn't speak back.

"it's fine you haven't. it was the best way for me to say how i got here." he has too many memories with the first season of next gen but he also loved getting to appear on the second season too. he didn't need to mention that though since he was only a mentor there.

"i'm both but i love dancing a ton." he admits, knowing dance was always his favorite skill to work on no matter what.

sua frowns, studying the other for a moment before she utters a quiet, "i have a lesson soon." she points out, but she doesn't move. it's just down the hallway, and sua really likes laying on the ground. she's made some improvement over the week, and sure-- she could be an overachiever and use every opportune minute, but today was long. her being late already upset her, and she'd rather start her next lesson with somewhat of a clearer mind. sua can't ever focus if she's still stewing in irritation-- it's a recipe for disaster.

"seojun," she repeats mildly, nodding to herself as she files that away. though she snorts at his words, raising her brows. "you sensed it? what gave me away?" sua inquires, but she doesn't care to hear the answer. probably her vibe, her attitude; most of the trainees have been, not exactly strict perse-- but hyper focused. probably because they've been here much longer than her.

her brows pinch and furrow. "oh. next gen." sua states, pausing. "i never watched it. but uh. i bet you were good? since you got...signed and all that..." wasn't that the same one joomi was on? sua can't remember. they had a new season too, so maybe she's mixing up the years.

sua lingers in the silence for a moment, thoughtful. "are you...a dancer?" she asks, tilting her head to the side curiously. "or...singer? both?"

seojun knows that things chance but he can't help but be a little sad he isn't rooming with haneul anymore. sure he'd get used to it but the other male had always been his comfort and now he'd have to just get used to waking up and seeing one of their other members instead. he doesn't let that ruin things for him with their debut preparations though. if anything he'd more pumped up then ever, ignoring the way his nerves were hitting him. so much was happening and his emotions were just all over the place.

right now, he's preparing to take the photos for their debut teasers and can't help but watch haneul doing his. a smile spreads across his lips as he watches, taking in the other's features as he poses in the right ways he's asked. he's so down bad that it hurts and he hasn't even confessed his feelings to his best friend yet. "you did so well, hannie. looked very handsome." he complimented once he saw the other male step away from the cameras. he couldn't help himself and wanted to slip in a compliment for his best friend.

"have you been finding everything you need for gifts?" seojun can't help but ask as he looks over at tae. he had eagerly agreed to meet up with his friend to explore around and see all the different christmas related activities they could get up to. "i'm still trying to find the perfect gift for haneul but i've been too picky it seems."

"how are things going with you and your crush?" he can't help but ask since he loves getting an update and wonders if tae decided to confess his feelings at all. he knows he hasn't done that himself but he's working up to doing so. he's just been so busy that he can't think of much outside of practicing for whatever his company wants him to do.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴇʀꜰᴇᴄᴛ ɢɪꜰᴛ

seojun had been wandering around the area a bit, checking out the different handmade items and other things people were selling. he was on the look out for gifts to send to his family who he hasn't gotten to see face to face for a bit. he still gets photos and videos of gom constantly who he misses a ton lately. he's gonna get him a little gift as well and get one for his aunt too since she's been taking good care of him.

he notices others shopping around as well but one person catches his eye. it's seonghan and it seems to seojun that the other looks conflicted. sure he hasn't gotten to talk to or spend time with the other due to how busy he's been with training and project green though he's changing that now. he makes his way over and gives a soft smile. "hey, struggling with getting a gift?" he asks, waiting patiently for an answer as he finds his eyes wandering to a booth nearby them.

this was different than just his usual performing for busking events that he did in the past. he hasn't even see the other he got to busk with since he started training much more. now he'd see them even less with everything happening with debuting. it was bittersweet but he'd just make sure to keep in contact with them down the line. right now his mind was focused on what more they'd get to do. he was looking forward to traveling and filming more music videos. it would be a ton of fun especially getting to be along side the other members. he's glad that he got to be beside noel for this. it wouldn't feel right getting to experience all of this without the other male.

"i'm sure we will for activities in the future." he smiles. "that's more than me. i've never traveled outside of south korea so this is the first time i've done so. i wanna travel more too." with being an idol, it was one of the many things he was excited for alongside getting to entertain the fans they'd get to have down the line. "i hope we get to do that too. it would be fun exploring the world even a little bit so crossing my fingers for us."

seojun never filmed a music video but he's filmed dance covers before. this was different but that's one of the many times he's been filmed before. a music video was a whole different thing though and seojun is so excited that they get to be doing this. all he had to do was be how he usually was in front of a camera and perform like he was used to. at least they were in good hands though when it came to all this and they could make sure everything was how it should be for the music video. "i'm sure we'll film more in the future," he beams instantly, sure this was going to go well. it already seemed that way from what he's seen with the other members. "hmm, i'm sure we'll get to travel more in the future." he says as he looks back at noel. he finds himself laughing at the other's words instantly. "wouldn't that be something? sure we'll be filming more of them back home and travel to film music videos once in awhile."

though this was something unfamiliar, noel was enjoying it, he got to dance, be with his members and be in front of the camera, there was obviously nervousness in him, but he also already looked forward to filming more music videos in the future. noel hadn’t known for that long he wanted to be an idol, but the closer he got to debut, the more he was interested in the idol life. he enjoyed it, dancing, practicing, interacting with fans, performing, being in front of the camera, noel was lucky he’d seen seojun dance that one time, grown an interest in dance afterwards.

“i can’t help but hope we’ll get to travel more together” he nods “i’ve only ever been to korea and canada, and now belgium, and being here in belgium makes me want to travel more”. “i know it might be far out in the future and there’s the possibility it won’t happen, but i already now hope we’ll get to do a world tour some day, not sure how much time we’d have to see the different cities and countries on a world tour, but it still sounds good in my mind”.

seojun felt a bit lost. sure he knew he could have done better but there was always that nagging feeling like he had let everyone down and he hated feeling that way. at least he knew this would push him to do better plus the perfectionist in him would make sure it happened.

that's why he's seeking the comfort of his best friend, wanting to be near him. plus he knew haneul could always make him feel better even while the two of them were practicing. he kept close to the other before he decided he should be practicing instead. he didn't wanna be rusty at all if he could help it.

"hannie, do you know if there's something i can do better to make myself not fade away into the background?" he couldn't help but ask the other, wanting to know if his best friend knew something. "it's fine if you don't know. it's just been on my mind."

he lets himself stretch a bit before he finds himself beside the other, nuzzling against him a bit. he was feeling extra affectionate at the moment and knew his indifference would take over later at some point.

there's still a rush hitting seojun after they performed on stage. he always felt that way when he did something in front of an audience so he needed to do something to focus his energy into something else. he's in his kiki costume and a part of him is already feeling embarrassed. why did he want to be true to the movie? he didn't know why but he's not going to go against his decision. he makes a beeline to haneul though, finding the other in the cat costume too cute. he latches onto his best friend, feeling a bit more affectionate at moment. plus he knows the other is his safe space when it comes to anything and he hopes that haneul feels the same way with him.

"hannie, should we go get more autographs at all?" he knows he tried to get some earlier but performing clouded his mind soon after. right now, all he wanted to do was spend time with his best friend who he also still had to confess to. sure the pinning was there but parts of him wanted to do more and that side was growing every day. he didn't pull away from haneul, letting out a sigh of content at being this close. though he couldn't help but mess with the ears of the other's costume.

maybe he was just whipped but he wasn't going to delve into that.

"unless you wanna do something else? we can show off our costumes or mingle a bit." he smiles as he looks at the other. anything they did together, he'd be happy about. they could just eat snacks and he'd be content.

seojun feels a bit lost. he doesn't like feeling this way but he can't help it. he wants to get out of the danger zone and show that he deserves to be here beside the others. it's one thing he is excited about and he's getting used to living with the others. maybe he can prove himself with their performance they have to do. he wants people to have their eyes on him and show that he has the stage presence to do so. he did the same thing when he was in next gen and that turned out well for him so he's keeping that mindset from that.

that's how he ended up beside noel to practice dancing as well as singing. the other male was doing a good job at being a leader and since they were friends, he knew he could trust him with anything. stretching a bit, he looks over at noel with a small smile. "so... you nervous about performing in front of everyone?" he knows it's a lot but he can't wait to see what the others will think about their performance. he even has the mask he is gonna wear so no one knows it's him.

seojun knows that he can only give what he's feeling with all this and he's just grateful that yuji was the one who he got to talk to. not that his other friends wouldn't help but he wouldn't know how to go about it or if he'd even be able to ask for advice. he should just confess already instead of holding onto it all but that's easier said than done.

he feels it will only be positive though which is a good thing. he just needs to say that he likes his best friend instead of acting like there has to be a perfect moment. if he wants this, he has to say how he feels plus he senses that haneul would actually consider his feelings. though a part of him thinks that the other likes him the same way.

he takes a bite of more of his food, trying to do something else than overthink. "that's true plus it would stop the overthinking as well."

thinking over yuji's words carefully, seojun can already picture the best way he'd confess to his best friend. "well, it would be on our day off. i want it to be at our apartment and i'd make his favorite meals which we'd get to enjoy alongside each other. want it to be comfortable and not be something so over the top."

yuji tilts her head to the side, eyes lifting back to him the moment he speaks. she only observes as much as he speaks, giving a little hum when he's finished. she bites at the side of her lip, gathering her thoughts carefully.

if what seojun says is true, then surely making some sort of move would only make for a positive outcome, right? if not-- what other factors are there? are there misunderstandings? a miscommunication somewhere in between? is seojun's proposed crush leading him on?

yuji taps a nail on the side of her tray. "at the very least, it'd give you some peace on the what are we front." she drops her gaze back down to take another bite.

"let me wrack your brain a bit," yuji says after a moment. "if you had to do like a, picture perfect confession scene to your person, what do you have in mind?"

seojun wasn't one that was a people person per say. he could be an awkward mess if there was someone new he was meeting. he relied on his roommate a ton to make sure that he didn't get that way but he couldn't do that now. at this moment he had to just deal but at least with learning more about eunwol, he didn't feel quite as much as an awkward mess like he could be. he found they had similar interests which helped a ton in his eyes.

right now he was sitting with the other at a local café since he though it was the perfect place for them to talk. he wanted to know about eunwol's dreams and maybe just maybe he could be a little cheerleader for him if he needed cheering up. he'd find out surely since he prided himself on being a good listener no matter who he was with. "so what's something you've always wanted to do? wanna hear about your dreams. i can share mine as well."

a lot was on seojun's mind at the moment. sure he had to deal with being a trainee as well as keeping up with university but that wasn't on his mind at all. all his thoughts were on his best friend especially the feelings he had for him. he had told himself that he needed to somehow let the other know his feelings and with them being at the same company as well as roommates, their were plenty of chances waiting.

he had taken the time to do something for his best friend, wanting to impress the other even if he didn't have to. usually haneul was the one who cooked but he wanted to try and made the other's favorite meal as well as make an environment that let them relax together.

they both deserved some time to relax and maybe he could stop pinning and finally confess but he'd see what happened.

he finally got everything set up and was waiting patiently for haneul. even gom was waiting, his eyes glued to a certain spot as if the other would magically appear there. it was cute and he loved how much gom adored his best friend. he had made sure to send a text to the other, ready for him to get here.

"you're just trying to fuel my sweet tooth and i'm all for it." it made him appreciate tae a ton that he wanted to do nice things for him. he made sure to do so in return. he let out a sigh of his own. "i know! i am much more busy now so it's a bit harder to have a love life. haven't even had time to think about confessing."

"i'll do so. it's something very romantic and it's harder to do where i'm staying now." he looked at the stall and then watched what tae picked before finding himself smiling. he was ready to eat something. he could feel his stomach talking him and he wanted to settle that.

"really?" he answered, taking the items that his friend handed him. "i mean i get that. it's a huge thing to confess to someone but i feel it will go over well for you." he mused, letting the other pull him away and lock arms. "well my one idea for a first day involves cooking a nice meal of the foods he likes. make it like a candle light dinner as we just enjoy one another's company. it's perfect for a first date or even just a way to confess."

"yes, well, more like i'll buy you something sweet." he sadly hadn't arrived with anything sweet but whatever he could do for seojun, he'd do it. a small pout formed on his face at the others words. followed buy an overly dramatic sigh. "i can't believe having a full life is getting in the way of our love life." ours, as he was living through seojun.

"well then tell me about the ideas." he raised a brow at seojun as his eyes scanned all of the goods at the stall. he saw a few things he liked, pointing to each quickly. "and i'll get two of each for me and my friend here." tae jabbed a finger in seojun's direction while his other hand went into his pocket to fish out his wallet.

"I've come close to confessing a few times but…" he shrugged, handing over the cash. "keep the change." he only had eyes for the food and passed seojun his items. "but i back out in the end. for someone who has courage…i'm lacking a lot of it." tae gently pulled seojun away from the line, locking their arms were he could. "maybe your ideas will give me some."

hello! just throwing this out here! i’d love to get more threads going for everyone i play here! still gonna be keeping the threads i have unless it is discussed to end them. gonna make little blurbs about my three to maybe spark ideas if i can. please like or lmk if you'd like a thread. even just sending a random emoji for a random starter is fine by me <3

seojun needs more non-trainee threads going for him since i feel he needs to get out there more instead of seeming to hole himself up with training. this is a things he'd do though lol. he needs a little fun in his life but is up for anything pretty much. maybe he can get out of his awkwardness this way too.

hyejin is more extroverted than seojun so i feel she'd be all for being dragged around. maybe she can be at a club to dance or even just do something involving kpop in general since she's a fan. if she has someone to ramble with about different groups, she'd be happy.

since he's more free than the other two, jae can do whatever honestly. he usually goes out on weekends and tends to be flirty when the chance arises. he can be dragged anywhere and be just fine and content no matter what. it's just his personality it seems.
