This is my first go at posting lyrics translations. Let me know if you have any organization suggestions or questions about the translation. I am still learning, so if there is anything I have translated wrong, do let me know.

오랜만에 소나기 내리는 걸 봤다. 동네 분식점에 들어가 김밥을 시켜 먹는데 갑자기 천둥 번개가 치더니 하늘에서 폭포처럼 물이 쏟아져내렸다. 금방 끝날 비가 아니어서 아예 튀김을 좀 더 시켜 앉아 소나기를 구경하기로 했다.

초등학교 1학년 쯤이었던 것 같다. 그날 나는 할아버지의 복덕방 사무실 문을 열고 바닥에 쪼그려 앉아 갑자기 내리기 시작한 소나기를 구경했다. 아스팔트로 포장된 땅을 부술 듯이 쏟아져내리는 강력한 빗줄기에 압도되었고, 곧 비가 그치자 언제 그랬냐는 듯 표정을 바꾼 하늘이 재미있었다.
