밴드에는 민주주의가 있을 수 없다더니. 까칠하기로 유명한 이석원 님은 몇 분짜리 영상 안에서조차 까칠함을 마구 내뿜어서 사포로 긁히는 느낌(장난이 아니라 진심으로 그런 느낌을 받았다). 까칠 왕이자 뻥카 왕인 석원 옹. '내가 너 들으라고 한 소리냐'고 당당하게 따지시는데 이상하게 너무 말이 되는 것 같아 당황했다(;;;)

오랜만에 우리나라 인디 밴드 음악 듣는데 예전에 보고 빵 터졌던 영상 하나 가져왔다. 나는 '10CM', '데이브레이크' 세대지만 인디 계의 뿌리 깊은 덕후 분들은 여전히 '언니네 이발관', '3호선 버터플라이', '델리 스파이스' 같은 아티스트들이 최고였다고 추억하시지.

예전에 읽었던 책 '홍대앞으로 와'도 떠오르네. 여전히 내 감수성은 10대 시절부터 홍대 문화에 깊게 뿌리 내려져 있다. 맛집, 음악, 쉴 공간, 친구들이랑 항상 만나면 가자고 하는 곳, 카페. 친구랑 자주 갔던 카페가 사라져서 아쉬워하기도 하고. 진짜 진짜 좋아했던 곳이 한두 군데가 아닌데. '키라키라 히카루', '버닝 하트', '제너럴 닥터' 등.

그 책에서도 이렇게 말했지. '홍대'는 뭐냐고. 홍익 대학교냐고, 아님 그냥 놀이 공간이냐고. 둘 다지, 뭐.

              ‘  enjoying the show ??  ‘      he’s referring to his semi - nudity that’d been brought upon by both his arrogance & the overbearing heat that’d been consuming their state for the past few days . he blames global warming for that , but he’s always one to use an excuse to strip off to his advantage . 

              large hands rest against the side of the pool before he uses his upper body strength to push himself out , pacing towards the other as slender fingers brush dark locks out from his even darker eyes , sitting himself atop of the lounge chair next to theirs , damp hands reaching for the towel below his chair to dry off his upper body .     ‘  did they ditch you again ?? ah , you’d think they’d know better than to leave you alone with me by now . unless they’re completely oblivious to the way you look at me .  ‘     he’s thrown his bait . now it’s just time to see whether or not they bite .

퇴사 다음날인 오늘 아침 8시에 눈이 떠졌고 출근해야하는 줄 알았다. 여느 토요일과는 다른 감정으로 휩싸인 아침이었다. 끝내 다시 잠은 안 오고 뒤적뒤적 12월을 돌아본다. 1/ 2차 정밀초음파에서 확인한 시온이는 감사하게도 모든 게 정상이었고 옆모습은 나를 닮은 것만 같았... 2/ 초음파 하고 연희동사진관으로 사진 찍으러 갔다. 빵집 앞에서 애처럼 포즈를 취한 떠구. 요즘 귀여움에 물이 오름. 3/ 어느 주일의 커피빈. 떠구의 뉴 아이폰으로 찍었다. 역시나 귀엽... 4/ 12월 사무실 최대 이슈. 히터와 개인전열기구를 동시에 돌리면 시도때도 없이 전기가 셧다운이 되었다. 자신은 전기에 대해 아무 것도 모른다며 공사비를 우리에게 ��라는 막무가내 꼰대 건물 쥔장과 결국 나도 말싸움을 하고야 말았다. 5/ 나른한 평일 오후에 흰색 인형들(흰둥이들)을 빨고 있다며 나에게 카톡을 보낸 떠구 6/ 새로운 요리들을 시도해보고 있다. 아보카도 비빔밤, 나시고랭 등등 (둘 다 내가 하지는 않았음) 7/ 오랜만에 만난 강중침 피플. 8/ 작년 크리스마스 이브 우리집 초청에 이어 올해는 석원-지혜 부부의 집에 초청을 받았다. 둘의 모습이 잘 묻어나 있는 안락하고 예쁜 공간에서 까르보나라, 연어 스테이크가 차려진 만찬을 먹고 러브레터를 배경으로 질문카드 시간을 가졌다. 진솔하고 의미 있었던 시간. 9/ 크리스마스. 갑자기 신당동 떡볶이가 너무 먹고 싶어서 떡볶이를 먹고 여의도에 가서 <신과 함께>를 봤다. 10/ 12월 29일 약 3년 8개월의 근무를 마치고 퇴사했다. 한나가 그 전 날 기분이 어떠냐고 물어서 홀가분하다고 했다. 할 만큼 했고 미련이 남지 않는 후회가 없는 퇴사라는 생각에서였다. 하나님의 타이밍과 인도하심을 신뢰한다. 하지만 남겨진 아이들을 생각하면 쓸쓸해지는 마음은 어쩔 수 없구나...

               he’s done his fair share of clothing pictorials , but none had been at this sort of level . & none had been with models , or a designer for that matter , so pretty . it was awfully distracting considering he’d gone into the job with a clear mind & a few basic rules laid out for him to follow , one of which was not to sleep with the models . but it wasn’t the models that had captured his attention this time round .                 & so he approaches the pretty blonde , a large hand gripping at the large camera he’d finished working with for the day , his signature smirk lighting up his features like the lights on a christmas tree .     ‘  why is it that the prettiest girls are always the ones behind the camera putting in all the hard work , huh ?? it’s such a shame . i’m sure you’d photograph real good .  ‘
