🍑: Peach Daifuku 🍓: Ichigo Daifuku — Yeah, so we were debating whether to eat lunch first or get a snack first... In the end, we chose snack first because it was so hot out and these looked refreshing. I haven’t had fruit daifuku in a while and this place looked so cute, so we had to check it out! They had a lot of different fruit filled daifuku but we went with a peach and a strawberry one. As you can see here, if you’re eating there, they’ll cut it in half for you so it’s easier to eat~ Also, you don’t have to worry about your trash because they have a sign (only in Korean) saying to just leave it there.👍 @3dayperspective really loved the strawberry one which is their most popular flavor. The peach one was very soft and refreshing too~ I’m a bit picky with fruit daifuku because it’s hard to get the ratio of azuki to fruit just right! However, this was perfect! The mochi had a nice firm elastic texture and was thin. 🥝: Honey Grapefruit, Mango, Green Grape, & Golden Kiwi Daifuku ☕️: Violet Roasted Sweet Potato Latte — After lunch, we actually went back to @mochistory to get more daifuku. They have an option for a set of any 4 flavors (different flavors are at different prices so that’s why they have this option) so we ended up doing just that. The second pic is their display for the daifuku btw~ We then walked over to a nearby @starbuckskorea so I could try their purple sweet potato latte. I almost cried a little on the inside as I spent a little over $6 on a tall size but at least it was on a drink I can’t get in the US.😅 Plus I’m pretty sure I was paying for the ambience of the shop cuz it was super nice inside. I got the iced version of the drink cuz it was hot outside~ The latte really did taste like purple sweet potato, including the whipped cream which was also sweet potato flavored.😋 Not too sweet but creamy, earthy, and refreshing, this drink was definitely worth trying out.
