okay i had a thought about bonten.

imagine you’re close friends with takemichi and mikey, however you lost touch with both of them after high school ended for an unknown reason to takemichi. and amidst his search for mikey, he sees on the news a picture of you with the caption “missing person last seen in the back alley of a club surrounded by what looks to be members of the infamous gang known as ‘bonten’ that’s been terrorizing tokyo”. so now not only does his need to find mikey stem from wanting to save him, but also to find out what happened to you.

skip ahead a few weeks and he finally finds mikey and sanzu and he demands to know what happened. mikey tells him to stay out of his business, but especially to stop digging around for information about you because “you’re his now” and that’s none of takemichis concern. but takemichi being takemichi, refuses. this angers mikey, causing him to go on this big long rant about how annoying it is the people keep meddling in affairs involving you, and that he’s going to eliminate anyone that tries to take you from him again, which confuses takemichi. but before he could question him further, sanzu knocks him out and when he comes to again he’s all alone with a mere note left behind telling him to fuck off because mikey really doesn’t want to kill him, but he will if he keeps getting into his business.

we all know takemichi isn’t gonna give up though.

i can see darling being a lot like takemichi in the sense where he knows he's not all that, but he still gets himself into a shit ton of trouble because he's got a lack of self-preservation and common sense (and really, anyone who challenges baji must be a little bit stupid 'cause boy is on a whole other level of unpredictable, you're asking to get your ass beat atp)

darling sealed his fate when he decided to double back and try again after getting beat the first time. baji can a appreciate a pretty boy, especially a pretty boy who's stubborn, but he's not gonna sit back and let darling try over and over again and fail every single time, so he decides to take a much different route with forcing darling into submission.

baji likes the humiliated look on his darling's face when it sets in for darling that he not only got his ass beat by baji, but he was also forced underneath and fucked by baji too. it's another kind of superiority check for baji, and it's a little bit exhilarating too, which is probably what keeps him interested in darling. and it only spirals from there, i'm sure 💀

i love yanderes that have this deep insatiable desire to just consume all of you till you’re the only thing they know, you know, the possessive, demanding ones. but gosh am i a sucker for yanderes that slowly fall head over heels for their darling. where the tension builds up slowly and unknowingly until one day he just looks at you and shit- you’re his whole world. his hearts racing, he can’t take his eyes off of you, and it feels like his heart is bursting whenever you’re in proximity of him, and then it slowly develops more into this need to have all of you for himself because you’re just so god damn perfect and nobody but him deserves you.

i can definitely see this kind of yandere to be toman mikey because his dark impulse’s aren’t as prevalent and he’s so much more carefree. he’s just a dopey idiot that sees you one day like he does takemichi and he decides you’re friends, but he has this strange attachment to you from the beginning. he always wants to be around you, close to you, hanging off of you like he was the clothes you wore. draken had to begrudgingly call you at all hours of the day and night just to sate mikeys neediness. but as you grow older it just gets worse, and mikey doesn’t even realize he wants you until one day he just looks at you talking animatedly with another person, smiling and laughing so brightly, and he realizes that he wants all of you to himself.

and mikey has never been the kind of guy to deny himself of things he wants for long.

i’m a pretty clumsy person and after almost falling down the stairs just now (😭) it got me thinking about baji with a clumsy darling.

like i can see him getting all pissed off and worked up cause you have bruises and cuts all over you, and he demands to know who did this to you so he can fuck ‘em up, but you actually just fell out of bed last night and tripped on the side walk earlier.

when he realized how clumsy you are i imagine he literally baby proofs you and everything you come into contact with to keep you safe. stairs? there’s a gate blocking them. sharp edge? he has it rounded or puts some foam on it. he insists on cutting vegetables for you ‘cause he’s not risking you accidentally cutting yourself. his apartment has carpet so you don’t slip, and if you do at least the pain is nulled on carpet compared to hard flooring. he always has an arm on your waist or he’s close by all the time so that if you trip he can catch you, or just so he can make sure you’re balanced. he always helps you to get on and off his bike by holding your hand or he’ll just straight up pick you up. like, anything that can possibly hurt you he’s thought about and come up with a solution to eliminate or minimize your injuries.

and if his darling has a lack of self-preservation then he’ll just straight up bubble wrap you at that point, because no way is he letting you out into the world when you carelessly get lost in thought or don’t pay attention to your surroundings and you end up getting hurt.
