Howdy! I'm a little late with this week's update, but I promise the wait is worth it.

FEEL THE RUSH will be "soft-launching" our Discord server from August 2nd through August 30th with the server opening to everyone shortly after.

↳ There will be a maximum of TEN MUNS allowed in the server during this period. ↳ Mun reservations will be open following next week's update. ↳ There will be ONE mini-activity check during this period.

I'm back with another update . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁

This has been an incredibly eventful week for our team! We are thrilled to welcome a new moderator, Mod Mars (he/they), who blends seamlessly with Admin Echo and myself. Mod Mars has a deep passion for graphic design and lore, making them an invaluable addition to our team.

On a personal note, I spent some time exploring the tags and spreading positivity to other groups that I find particularly inspiring and hope will continue to grow.

However, during my browsing, I came across a post highlighting issues with toxic and xenophobic behavior within the community. It's important to address these concerns directly, especially as we're just getting started.

FEEL THE RUSH stands firmly against any form of xenophobia, cultural fetishization, or racism. Here are some measures we're implementing to ensure our RP environment remains inclusive and respectful:

Ensuring that all characters are depicted with authenticity and respect towards their culture and race.

Providing resources for players to learn about the cultures and customs of the characters they portray and the setting they're in.

Maintaining an open-door policy that encourages members to provide constructive feedback and share diverse perspectives.

WE'RE BACK!!!! It's been a relatively quiet week in terms of development because the staff team has been quite busy. However, one of the key topics we've been discussing is our "brand identity."

As a visual girly, our identity is very important to me. With so many amazing groups in the community that have incredible graphics, our goal is to stand out and look different. Here's something I've been working on:

Rules Excerpt

Players are limited to using a maximum of two (2) face claims from the same real-life group.

Muses must be within 5 years, either younger or older, of their face claim's age.

Players can only use face claims that are 19 years old or older, internationally.

Players can have up to 4 muses for the first 90 days. After this period, additional muses can be added, with a maximum of 8 muses total.

After the response to our last update, I've decided to make another one! This week, Admin Echo and I focused on finalizing our group names, company names, and sound claims! It was challenging but also incredibly rewarding, and we're excited about the creative ideas we've developed. I won't reveal too much without consulting Admin Echo, but I can share a sneak peek of the lore for one of our companies.

In recent years, ▇▇▇▇ has been embroiled in controversy following the abrupt departure of top executive Dul Mirae. Allegedly, the company was dissatisfied with the lack of progress in Dul’s trainee projects, as her trainees failed to debut according to the company's timeline. Dul has since moved to ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, where she now leads their subsidiary label, "▇▇."

Sharing my progress is one of my favorite parts of working on a project. I believe that world lore is essential to an RP; it's what sets us apart from other groups and makes our concept come to life.

For our RP, this includes our groups, companies, and discography. Over the past two days, I’ve been diving into the discography of one of our girl groups, Secret Garden. I’ve assigned them the sound claim of Cherry Bullet, Loona, and Weki Meki. I've now finished adding all their releases until 2024, but here’s a sneak peek at their debut.

I'm always open to suggestions on what we could add, sound claim combinations we could try, or even ones we should avoid. Share your thoughts! Your input is important!

Update Two

Mod Mars was kind enough to make some logos for our three companies. I'm personally obsessed with them <3

As a bonus, I wanted to share one of my plot calls. Even though we're primarily an entertainment RP, I want to make room for plots that don't entirely center around idols, as this makes the world feel more developed.

The Himura family is a prominent, multi-generational dynasty in the entertainment world, wielding substantial influence as the owners and controllers of one of the nation’s largest media conglomerates. On the surface, they epitomize success and glamour, their public image carefully curated to reflect wealth, power, and unity. However, beneath this polished exterior lies a labyrinth of conflict that threatens to unravel their empire. At the heart of the turmoil is the patriarch ▉▉▉▉, a formidable and visionary leader who has dedicated his life to expanding the family’s media empire. As ▉▉▉▉ approaches retirement, the question of who will inherit his legacy ignites fierce competition among his children, each of whom has a distinct vision for the company’s future.
