Unexpected RnB groove in this new single from Vast & Hazy! (Released in late May)

Sounds great, and I really thought that guitar solo at the end was gonna extend, cos the arrangement got a bit heavier... but nope, the song was over too soon! I hope when they play this live, they stretch out that last section and go wild, LOL. =D

整理整頓清潔中 (Apple) begins with a slightly subdued arrangement, but the song has all of their customary urgency. I really love this!

Finally, 原子邦妮 Astro Bunny and the song 我注定不是和你相愛的人 Not Meant To Be from their latest album, Should Have Let Go (明明早點放棄就沒事了). The album came out on late December of 2023.

This is an acoustic arrangement, pretty much only Yi-Chi Lin 林易祺’s guitars and 顏靜萱 Ka Ka Yen’s vocal.  It is still fairly intense, tho, in keeping with the urgent VH style.  

I wonder if there will be an full electric rock arrangement at some point?  That would be killer, stretch it out with wild gtr solos, etc.   =D

As far as I know, this is the first time we have featured them, the members are: 芒果 Mango-Vocal, 祐霖 Yo0-Guitar, 冠宏-Bass, 蕭蕭-Drums  

My first impression of the band is a resemblance to the drama and vocal power of *Vast & Hazy, and that’s a good thing!

New MV from 眠腦 Sleeping Brain    This is the 2nd excellent song we’ve posted recently, and I’m really psyched to hear more from them!

I suggest checking out the full credits at YT, but let’s at least mention producer/co-arranger 韓立康 HLK (guitarist Likang Han from 椰子!! Coconuts & Waa Wei and Lovely Baby).  顏靜萱 Ka Ka Yen (fr. Vast & Hazy) was vocal producer/co-chorus arranger.

To follow up on the GoodBand/No Party For Cao Dong post from earlier today, I wanted to mention that this song (山海 Wayfarer) has been covered a LOT.  Here we have TW indies together in 2016. (I think this was an anniversary event of a high school guitar club, and the clip was posted to KAKA’s personal YT channel)

Left to right: 郭子恆 Jemmy Kou (from the band EastWave), 顏靜萱 Ka Ka Yen (from Vast & Hazy), 舒國銘 Shu Shu (舒舒) (舒舒與ㄅㄒ), and 蔡欣 Tsai Chen Hsin. Tsai Chen used to be in a duo called Star Radio 小城星電台, but they split up a few years ago.
