The original line up singers was supposed to be Izuru, Rikka, Astel, Rio, Hakka and Octavio. However, Rikka was on break because of this throat and Astel was on a vacation. Rikka elected Temma to replace him and Astel chose Uyu as his substitute.

Hakka and Octavio doesn't have 3D yet so they were cardboards on standing on the karaoke stage with their own microphones. Its pretty cute that Izuru would tippy tap run in front of Hakka and Octavio when it was their turn to sing. Then the others follow kneeling in front of them cheering them on with lightsticks on hand.

This anime song karaoke stream happened during hololive expo 2024 day 1.

ok full confession, there are exactly four (4) anime i've watched more than like 2-3 episodes of in my entire life (Fruits Basket, InuYasha, Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen) so i'm sorry if my picks are incredibly basic jhskjhkjghs. also i had to go back and listen to a lot of openings & endings for Fruits Basket & InuYasha bc i couldn't put songs to titles whoops

1.) 紅蓮華 (Gurenge) by LiSA. this is easily the most basic thing on this list and i don't give a FUCK it goes so hard. it was number 7 in my spotify top 100 this year for a reason

2.) 明け星 (Akeboshi) by LiSA. this is also basic, but it was 14 in my spotify top 100.

3.) 青のすみか (Ao no sumika) by Tatsuya Kitani. number 61 on my spotify top 100 this year. edits of hidden inventory-era satosugu is what got me to watch jjk in the first place so this is not a surprise.

4.) VIVID VICE by Who-ya Extended. SO fucking good, makes my brain purr like a cat. somehow did not end up in my top 100 for the year.

5.) Lucky Ending by Vicke Blanka (from early in the Fruits Basket reboot, i think it's like,,, the first ending? i could be wrong tho don't hold me to that hkjhskjgh)

Listen… That’s the phrase, no seriously, just listen to it. The wild guitars and her voice is just- how is this song not more popular.

I was about to write “my guilty pleasure” but no. I don’t feel guilty about things I enjoy.

The original version of this song is the most beautiful flowy piece of music. And somehow, BENEE blended in perfectly.

Couple of months ago, I listened to a podcast with Joe on it where he said they’d only release songs they truly love from now on. This is definitely one I love as well.
