"eh?-" comical expression was quick to overtake the redhead's face, standing there frozen for a few moments as the other's words took a while to completely register. well now, that certainly wasn't what he was expecting to hear, no way, no how! thank goodness reki wasn't in the midst of showing off yet another trick, or else he'd have promptly bailed and likely face planted horrendously.

"y-you can't just ask that out of nowhere, langa!" he finally composes himself enough to respond, flushed face immediately twisting to face the other. silence for another few seconds, not a look of doubt behind the other's blue gaze ... he was being serious.

shaking his head frantically, reeling back on his words with a sheepish laugh.
