when  asked  for  a  bit  of  her  time,  desirae  hart,  twenty  three  year  old  socialite  and  heiress,  (   grand  daughter  of  american  millionaire  and  armani  co  -  founder,  celeste  hart  )  welcomed  us  with  more  than  open  arms  and  greeted  us  like  an  old  friend  when  she  sat  down  with  us  over  a  few  cups  of  tea  in  her  luxurious  paris  vacation  home,  to  discuss  the  good,  the  bad,  and  the  ugly  of  being  accepted  into  northridge  university’s  very  own  professor  griswold’s  exclusive  law  class.

so  you’ve  been  accepted  into  one  of  the  most  prestige  law  programs  in  the  world.  what  are  your  genuine  thoughts?   put  them  into  words  as  best  you  can.

desirae:   “amazed, [...]  like  utterly  amazed.    don’t  get  me  wrong,    i  know  i’ve  been  doing  all  i  can,  and  then  some.    i  mean,  this  is  my  future  we’re  talking  about,  so  of  course  i’ve  been  taking  it  seriously,    but  to  have  the  letter  in  my  hand  and  to  know  that  all  my  hard  work  got  me  here  still  feels  unreal  and  i’m  nothing  but  thankful.    especially  because  i’m  able  to  share  this  with  my  family.  to  have  a  dream  is  great,    but  to  have  a  dream  that  your  whole  family’s  invested  in  is  this  whole  ‘other  thing,  and  it’s  just  a  great  feeling.    they’re  all  real  proud  of  me,    which  makes  me  proud  of  myself  too.”  the  socialite  is  grinning  ear  to  ear  the  whole  time,    her  smile  is  so  radiant  and  energetic  that  we  can’t  help  but  smile  along  with  her.    it’s  clear  that  her  family  means  a  great  deal  to  her.    [   in  video  format,    there  is  a  picture  that’s  in  black  and  white  of  desirae  and celeste  embracing.    desirae  is  wearing  a  leotard  and  a  tutu,    accompanied  by  ballet  shoes.    it’s  apparent  that  she’s  just  gotten  out  of  ballet  practice.   ]  

you  have  an  awfully  close  bond  with  your  grand  mother,    celeste.    how  often  do  the  two  of  you  keep  touch?

desirae:    “oh,  we’re  as  thick  as  thieves.    i’ve  got  her  number  right  here  on  speed  dial,”    she  proceeds  to  grab  her  phone,  turning  it  around  to  show  her  grand  mother’s  contact  photo.    “oh!   i  have  her  last  message  right  here,    it  says  ‘love  you  very  much,    don’t  have  great  reception,    but  i’ll  call  you  as  soon  as  i  can,    super  proud  of  you  !!!!’    and  i’ve  even  got  her  sending  emojis,  they’re  the  wrong  ones  half  the  time,    but  i  always  send  her  some  back  to  encourage  her.    she’s  like  my  best  friend,    after  y’know  my  mom,”    a  short  breath  as  she  settles  her  phone  back  on  her  lap.    “and  céline,  of  course,”

of  course,    how  could  we  forget  one  of  the  cutest  friendships  of  our generation?    princess céline,    how  are  you  guys?    how  do  you  feel  about  her  epic  romance  with  charming  son  of  prime  minister,  theodore  duponts?

desirae:    “me  and  cél  are  great,    we  just  have  one  of  those  friendships  where  we  can  go  months  without  talking  and  then  hang  out  and  it’s  like  we’ve  never  left  each  others’  side,    you  know?    she  was  my  very  first  friend,    so  i’m  always  going  to  hold  her  near  and  dear  to  my  heart-”    “months?”    “oh,  no,  it’s  just  an  expression.    it  hasn’t  necessarily  been  months,    we  catch  up  frequently  with  each  other,    we  just  have  busy  schedules,    and  y’know  her  and  theo  are  like  madly  in  love,    so  i  try  not  to  steal  her  away  her  so  much,”  a  giggle  as  she  points  to  the  camera  and  shoots   a  wink.    “but  you  know,  now  that  we’re  going  to  be  walking  the  halls  together,    he  might  just  have  to  manage.    but  no,    they’re  really  great  for  each  other,    i’m  one  hundred  percent  a  shipper,    like  i  definitely  have  a  stan  account  floating  around  out  there  for  them.”    this  time  there’s  a  chuckle.    “seriously  guys,  get  #desiasmaidofhonor’  trending,    i’m  counting  on  you.”

so  is  there  anyone  special  you’ve  got  your  eye  on?  or  are  you  just  keeping  things  simple  and  light  for  now?

desirae:    “me  and  dating  just  having  been  seeing  eye  to  eye  right  now.   i  mean,    i  personally  just  don’t  see  the  need  to  rush  into  it.    we’re  young,    we’ve  got  out  our  whole  lives  to  find  that  person  we’re  going  to  be  with,  you  know?    i’m  at  the  base  of  my  career,    i  think  keeping  a  leveled  head  and  having  my  eye  on  the  prize  should  be  my  direct  focus,”     she  takes  a  sip  of  her  tea,    before  placing  the  cup  back  onto  the  plate,  hovering  atop  her  chanel  dress,    long  black satin  gloves  hold  onto  the  cup  with  elegance,    pinky  is  held  out  forward.    “i  just  know  what  i  can  manage,    and  mixing  business  with  pleasure  isn’t  my  forte,  but  major  props  to  those  who  can.    i  just  prefer  a  clear  mind,”
