I'm coming here to hammer my sign firmly into the ground again:

These characters are French and they're supposed to have French names. ココ is supposed to be Coco, not Koko, and シェリー•ベルモンド (Sherii Berumondo) is supposed to be Chérie Belmondo, not Sherry Belmont. I was about to concede on "Belmont", because Belmond and Bellemonde aren't actual French names (they use the wrong gender in the first word; the phrase would be "beau monde"). But you know who I just found on a whim?

Famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. His father was born in France to Italian parents. I think that's where Raiku must have gotten the name. This ancient Lycos site came to the same conclusion, back when there were no translations and the owner was also guessing things like "Vincent Bali":

Also this guy, "Kikuropu":

His name looks like it comes from the Japanese for Cyclops: . キュクロープス => キクロプス => キクロプ (Kyukoroopusu => Kikuropusu => Kikuropu). So that would be Cyclop. I guess that means there's a single eye hiding under his mask?
