coin’s name in jpn is オウメ(oume; plum blossom) they appear in late winter. one of its flower languages is [fidelity] if this doesn’t refer to saturn’s loyalty to cyrus then i don’t know anything anymore... 🥲

An interesting detail is that even though these wanted posters are mostly illegible, they do clearly reuse the same text, except for the for right most line of each. I wasn't really going for accurate reconstructions of the characters, just highlighting the basic shapes.

I would assume the unique text to be either some cipher of their names (Omatsu[オマツ/御松], Oume[オウメ/御梅], and Otake[オタケ/御竹]) but those all start with the same character, be it kanji, kana, or romaji, which clearly isn't the case here.

So, my only other guess is it might specify the places they defected from? (Ginga-dan[ギンガ団/銀河団], Shinju-dan[シンジュ団/真珠団], and Kongou-dan[コンゴウ団/金剛団], respectively) But those don't really match the apparent character count either...
