I always wondered if people noticed that Atem’s name is written in Japanese using the hieroglyphs. 🤔

I remember reading it back in the day when the season aired (because I can read hieroglyphs) and thought “eh? Why is it written in Japanese but hiding behind hieroglyphs?” If the dude is an Egyptian pharaoh, why is his name written like this? I know it’s stupid but it’s just a tiny observation that always bothered me over the years.

His name should be 𓄿𓏏𓇋𓅓

not 𓄿𓏏𓇋𓅓𓅪

I am super grateful to my gf @destinscelle for making these for me.

I requested these because I play two different versions of Atem and wanted something more “obvious” to make them distinguishable. So I thought this would be perfect. I will be putting these on top of my replies / starters depending on which version of Atem people are interacting with or which one I choose to use for a starter.

I am super excited to start using them! 😊

As an Atem rper one would expect to get more interactions…. but I barely ever get noticed on here.

I dunno if it’s because I just suck so bad or my writing is terrible…or both? Probably both..

I dunno….I feel my self esteem and confidence are taking a deep nosedive…

It has been a very agonising past month for me and this month is not any better. I lost someone very precious to me….she said she would come say hi once in a while, but I honestly start to believe that she has chosen to cut all ties with me…..and I don’t know why..

I honestly believe I will never hear from her again…

if only I could get just once sign that she is still reading my posts….it would comfort me….just one….*sighs*

There is one overused word that reeeaaallly annoys me, simply for the fact that my stupid Egyptian brain doesn’t know what that word even means 😅

I watch Karina Kaboom among other YouTubers and they often use the word “gaslighting” the fuq does that even meaaaan??? I keep imagining a literal gas light….as in a gas lamp type thing 😅😅😅😅 I swear I have no clue wtf that word means and I am so annoyed hearing it everywhere.

I currently have no ships for him. I don’t really focus on ships specifically. If there is chemistry between him and a character, then there could be a build up to a potential ship. But other than that, I just wanna tell stories through rp. I hope that makes sense.

I received the sweetest reply to a comment I made on one of OhLordyItsJordy’s videos.

I have been feeling extremely defeated since last night, and seeing this comment made me smile for the first time. It always brings me immense joy to hear a tourist express their experience they had while visiting Egypt and with the Egyptian people. It makes me feel so proud. 😊

It’s not the first time that people come here and immediately feel like it’s their second home. It’s actually something I hear pretty often. It also comes from the fact that we are extremely welcoming and do everything in our power to make you feel at home here.

I wish this girl all the best and thank her for putting a big smile in my face. May she visit us soon again so that she doesn’t have to miss it for too long. 💛
