THIS WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.

They froze as the company’s namesake walked into view.  It was like a mirror had been set up beside Quentin, reflecting a nigh perfect view of him.

No one was supposed to know about this, least of all Tony Stark himself.  It threw one of Quentin’s greatest tricks straight out the window. Not to mention the blatant disregard of company policy--

“Oh, fuck,” Martin whispered to himself, never one to have any finesse or skill in manipulating a situation.  

Quentin had to resist the urge to hit him then and there.
