he’s trapped.   now she’s trapped more than him.   the weight of shame grows like a poisonous vine,   each time he avoids her presence or gaze only adding to the burden keeping him at a distance.

ultimately,   Jim has a   GOOD   heart that perpetually aches despite his self-destructive tendencies.   it keeps his feet planted on the verdant soil when he sees her in the far corner of a garden,   merely shrouded by a big bush.   he’d recognize those golden locks anywhere.

he could choose to leave.   this is not his problem                         damn it.   slowly,   he addresses her,   only for her to apologize.           ❝    NO    !   no…   you don’t have to leave.    ❞         he says with an alarmed tone.

ABOUT. in which, rayne kisses his lady just like the tarantulas that bite. romance and spiders. wc of 500+

NOTES. first piece of D!ED, D3AD, G0NE. how we feeling?!?! keeping it short and simple for the first week before i progressively get into spookiness.

tarantulas were never something rayne ames could quite grasp of your affection. he could never understand why you cherished the insect with eight legs so much. it would be a sinful letter written to the angels in heaven if he said he knew your obsession with them.

honey hues watched as you hung your hands in the air, allowing the insect of the first levels of the fear hell to crawl all over your pretty fingers. your gaze buried deep at the hellish creature on your hands as it walks all over your arms.

until now the man felt utterly disturbed by your love for such morbid creatures of the night. he could feel as if there were hundreds of those tarantulas that you held— all slowly and slowly crawling down the back of his spine the more he watched. it gave him such an unexplainable chill.

but he finds it thrilling. finds it interesting how you never falter in your movements or even feel a speck of fear creeping onto the surface of your skin as you look after a more noble spider in the hierarchy.

“keep the spider,” ordered rayne softly as you unlocked your gaze from the spider and glanced up at your boyfriend. “why?”

“because i want to kiss you."

“and bite my lip like tarantulas?”

“and bite your lip like tarantulas,” he repeats your words, his eyes telling you to set the spider back to its little enclosure as he kept gazing from the container and back to you.

you obeyed his words without resistance, putting your hairy, eight-legged son back into his little cage as you gently set the enclosure back to where it originally was.

“come here, tarantula girl,” rayne's hands found their way slithering around your waist like a snake as he pulled you close with the webs of a spider— not wanting to let you out of his grasp.

soon enough, his soft lips are gently pressed against yours in such a soft manner that it makes you weak in your knees. such a sweet kiss, a contrast between both your personas lies in the way he kisses you like you were a precious porcelain doll.

one of his hands moved to cup your cheek and you felt his thumbs softly caressing your cheek and drawing whatever he could think of onto your skin as he continued to kiss you until your soul begs for another chance to breathe.

rayne's lips dragged down from your lips to the corner, before they were trailing kisses all along your jawline. making sure he keeps his kisses just like the little feet touches of a spider's legs, he performs each peck with precision and perfection.

it drives you utterly insane with the way his lips press against your jawline before it drags down even further to touch your neck. they're all so similar to the touches of a tarantula crawling on you. except rayne's touch is so much better than a mere tarantula's.

rayne's kisses were enough to make you forget about the morbid creature who crawls at the grounds of a hellish nature.

either way, that was rayne's motive from the start— to plant enchanting kisses onto your skin and consume your obsession for tarantulas.
