{jadesofgusu} (for Nie Sect timeline) "Ah, I was hoping I would find you here." Lan XiChen was quite familiar with the Qinghe Nie sect's library by now, and he was gladdened to see an equally familiar face sitting immersed in books.

Since he had been now within the ranks of the Qinghe Nie sect, JinYu had came to a conclusion- in order to be able to deal with the situation with those wielding sabres, he had to study about everything- after all, there was a chance he’d find a trail somewhere, no? So he had basically spent most of his days in the library, taking notes on a scroll with one hand while the other was holding onto a book as he read.

It was quite the scene to see- seeing these piles of books neatly organized on one side and on the other, a few brushes, scrolls and ink containers. Hell, there was even a small box just next to the table, holding even more paper. 

However, at the moment, it seemed that the man was stuck, the wooden end of his brush being tapped against his chin, a frown upon his face-- that is, until the familiar voice rang out in his ears. Eyes widening, hand lowering, it didn’t take a minute for JinYu to soon look over, quite surprised to see Lan XiChen.

He had almost forgotten about what Sect leader Nie told him about!

“..Having known that you would be visiting, I would have gotten some tea ready!” JinYu softly exclaimed, shaking his head and putting his brush down, looking back up with a gentle smile. And I would have taken care of not looking like a mess, too! He mentally cursed at himself. Hopefully, the other wouldn’t mind that too much.

“But.. Ah.. What brings you to this part of Qinghe Nie, ZeWu-Jun?”
