the door opening makes you flinch slightly, not that anyone’s really around to see it. the man who now stands confused in the doorway isn’t someone you’ve met, but from the pictures and description you’ve heard it must be lewis. you’re sat on his couch, with a goose, in the early hours of the morning. he’s clearly still half asleep, clearly very confused. “you’re lewis, then?” phrased as a question even when you know the answer, attention turned back to the goose, a quiet “i know” spoken as you gently pat it’s head. “cam went to sleep, ‘cause... you know.” a gesture to the open curtains, sunlight pouring through. you don’t know about the vampire thing, just assume he usually works nights. “i’m goose.” a pause, you look to the goose. “i know.” spoken quietly. “you’re also goose.”
