A good influence? Part 1

🧪 You were a well known hero, going around saving the city from dangerous threats.

🧪 One of your enemies was a supervillain known as “Fatalité” who worked with the scientist “Dr. Seraph”. 

🧪 Even if you got to put a stop to their evil plans time and time again, they always seemed to get back on their feet and challenge you once more. 

🧪 Between the two, Dr. Seraph did seem a bit less evil. Once he even got slapped by Fatalité, because he hesitated to attack you while you were saving a child. So you always had a bit more of empathy for him, not hesitating to be less harsh during fights. 

🧪 He was not a good person by any means, but you always find it a bit ironic how he was pushed around by his boss or the other henchmans. He would get so easily startled and lose his composure.  

🧪 One day, you accidently fell into one of his traps, while on a mission with your teammates. 

🧪 You woke up in his lab, tied up to a metal board. Before he had noticed you were awake, the scientist was working on a giant computer, while excitedly muttering to himself.

🧪 You looked to your side to see a little table covered with torture devices. That’s when the short man noticed your conscious state. 

🧪 “Fatalié will be so proud of me! You’re done, hero.” He tried to give a confident smile, but you could still feel his nervousness seeping through it. 

🧪 Despite the deadly situation you were in, you couldn’t help but make joke to turn this situation into ridicule.

🧪 “Really ? Does that mean I won’t get to see your cute face anymore?” You made a fake pout. 

🧪 Wait…Was it just you or did he blushed? His sudden stuttering and his eyes darting away from yours, was a clear indicator that your comment had affected him. Just not in the way you had expected.

🧪 You needed to take advantage of this, since there was no way you could escape alone in this room filled with deadly weapons. You had to buy enough time for your colleague to come and find you. 

🧪 You decided to continue with the praise. Saying how smart he was and that his boss couldn’t do his evil deed without him. 

🧪 “R-Really? No one ever recognizes my genius and dedication!” 

🧪 This guy was the definition of being starved for attention, since he totally didn’t catch on that you were manipulating him. His face was getting more and more flustered as he forgot what his initials intentions were. You had to admit, it was kinda cute. 

🧪 “You’re actually… quite likable compared to the nuisances you call teammates. At least now I know that one hero appreciate the complexity of my inventions.”

🧪 Seeing that your tactic was working wonders, you added how unfair it was for him to be treated like trash by Fatalité. The scientist stopped at your words, which made you dread that you had gone too far. 

🧪 He was about to respond when an explosion shook the room. You smile to yourself, knowing who was responsible for that detonation. Dr. Seraph tried frantically to find your friends on the surveillance camera. He called for reinforcements in a panic, before taking a weapon and leaving the room.

🧪 You just had to wait 5 minutes for one of your friends to find you and get the restraint off. You decided to leave a message on a notepad saying “Been fun, see you next time Doc.” with a little winky face. 

🧪 If only you knew the effect that it had on him when he found it later, tired and bruised up. 

🧪 That night, Dr. Seraph, or should I say Vincent, found himself thinking of you while he was laying on his bed. He couldn’t stop his mind spiraling as he held the little note close to his lips. It’s like the interaction you had today had completely changed his opinions of you. 

🧪 This scientist had been without attention for so long, that the tiniest bit of compliments and “special treatment” from you was enough to make his heart skip a beat.  

🧪 It went all downhill from there. It’s like he was finally noticing little things about you that he never did before.

🧪 How he loves it when you defend him from the wrath of his boss and try to convince him to go to the good side. You’re so considerate! 

🧪 Please treat him like he did nothing wrong and he is just being forced by Fatalité (which he isn’t totally). He just wants to hear your gentle words of praise again. 

🧪 He may be more remorseful of his criminal activities then others villains, but he is totally not above manipulation.

🧪 He tries to appear more injured at times so you would take him in your arms, like you do with civilians, to take him away from collapsing infrastructure. 

🧪 “P-please help me…Fatalité will punish me when he sees that I failed him again…” He gives you the biggest puppy eyes, hoping it would be enough to spark your heroic instincts. 

🧪 All to say that he is not really subtle with his new found love for you. The goons easily noticed his change of behavior around you. 

🧪 So they start teasing him about it, making him stutter, trying to deny it. They don’t truly believe he does like you, they just like messing with him. 

🧪 He tries to convince his boss to attack parts of the city where you do your patrol more often, in the hope of seeing you intervene. 

🧪 To say that he is disappointed every time another superhero tries to stop him instead of you would be an understatement. Like why are they ruining his little date ?! Don’t they have cats to save from trees or something?

🧪 He doesn't think of himself as a masochist, but he doesn’t totally dislike when you give him a few slaps or punches.

🧪 He especially likes it when you apologize when you feel like you didn’t hold back enough of your super strength. 

🧪 Can’t you just take him in your arms and kiss it better already?

🧪 Soon he starts thinking of you outside of your hero persona. Meeting you for fights is not enough for him anymore. 

🧪 What are you like when you take off your suit? What do you do when you have free time? 

🧪 He wanted more. He needed more of you.

After months of rewriting and perfecting this story in my draft I’m finally posting it. Anxiety be damned! (I am totally not stressing right now about it) But in all seriousness this is the first real post I make on this account, I hope you guys will like it!

strawberry: before getting together, how did your F/O realize they had a crush on you? How did they act around you once they realized they were head over heels?

It wasn’t an exact moment, but rather a slow realization. It took him…a very long time to realize. My s/i fell first, but even despite their little hints he wrote it off as friendliness, probably because he couldn’t comprehend the idea of someone being interested in him in that way. Eventually though, he realized it after taking some time to sit and really think about his friendship with my s/i, and how something seemed different. How he felt something, something more for my s/i that he couldn’t quite describe. As for how he acted after this revelation, very in denial. Until he was 100% sure that my s/i’s feelings for him weren’t in his head, he would get extremely nervous whenever she got close to him or smiled at him, hoping she wouldn’t be able to sense it.

cherry vanilla: how does your F/O show their affection for you?

In public, he is very professional and often no nonsense. At most, he’ll offer a hand squeeze or a arm wrapped around my shoulders for a picture. He’ll also smirk at me when no one is looking, or whisper in my ear. He’s much more affectionate when we’re with friends or alone. He also likes to get me presents when he sees something I’d like at the store. He also sometimes cooks for me, which he doesn’t normally do since he’s so busy.

Usually a nice hug makes me feel a lot better. He doesn’t always know exactly what to do to make me feel better, but he listens, which means so much. He usually asks if there’s anything I’d like him to do, and usually the answer is spending time with him. If I want to get my mind off things, he’ll talk about research, and I usually get so engrossed in listening it makes me feel better.

💭THOUGHT BALLON -- is there something or someone you find yourself thinking about more often than other things? if so, why do you think you do this?

Vicente's biggest wonder -- or should I say doubt -- is if he's really doing the right thing in life. That is not to say he doesn't believe in the hunter's life and morals and what their mission is for, because he does. Very enthusiastically so. Vicente was indoctrinated since birth to trust in their ways. He understands Supernaturals to be dangerous and unpredictable, and hazardous to humans since the dawn of time. He understands that if there aren't people like him out there, then there's nobody to stand in the way of humans ceasing to exist. The man has, and will continue, to do what needs to be done, even in the most ugly and extreme of ways, all for the good of mankind.

However... Has there been doubts in this? Has there been times Vicente wasn't sure if they weren't all bad? Has the man experienced regret and guilt and trauma from his actions and beliefs? Absolutely. There isn't anyone alive that could claim to be completely unwavering in their dedication and assurance-- anyone who does, is just selling something. Now Vicente isn't likely to admit this, but nobody ever said he wasn't a gigantic hypocrite, too.

Deep, deep, deep down... His faith and loyalty to the cause has been tested. And, to be completely honest, he's made a couple of slips along the way-- whether it be from allowing a supernatural to 'get away' or taking events out on himself. He has seen too much, done too much. At this point, the lines between good and evil have blurred and sometimes...

Vicente wonders if it isn't himself that's the true monster.

🧪 TEST TUBE — if you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what is one thing you absolutely have to resolve and/or do before then?

In what few minutes he had left, Vicente would take himself to church. He hasn't prayed in a very long time, and truthfully, isn't sure he even knows how to do it properly. But, he would speak to God -- or, whatever power there could be, or just to anything at all -- and confess the incredibly long list of transgressions. He would speak of his regrets. He would apologize to those affected and whose lives were forever altered by the choice of his actions. He would talk of what he missed out on, and the anger harbored at the root over that. He would speak on the people he cares about, and the wishes for their continued safety and rich, full lives.

But he wouldn't ask for mercy, because he knows he fully deserves what is coming to him. At least Juniper would be with him again.

🧪 It is a surprise to no one that he would be horrified, his worst nightmare literally becoming reality in front of his own eyes.

🧪 Dr. Seraph would automatically build a bunker in response and spend all of his time creating weapons to keep zombies far away from him. He would also use his robots to go get supplies and food, but you would need to be the one controlling them because even simply seeing a zombie on the screen makes him dizzy.

🧪 And to answer your question, Dr. Seraph will one hundred percent save you from zombies if you find yourself unable to fight them off or escape. For all his patheticness and shyness, Vincent isn’t a criminal for no reasons. There’s a part of him that can be ruthless if needed, and seeing his darling in danger is the type of moment where something clicks in his brain. He might still close his eyes while he shoots them though… So in short, yes he will protect his one and only darling from his worst fear.

💿 Atlas would enter protection mode in a blink of an eye, so no going out for you under any circumstances. He would totally use the “my human” card a lot to manipulate you into staying at your hideout.

💿 This situation would 100% make Atlas stresseeeed.

💿 He might look like his usual deadpan self, but inside he’d feel like his wires are going to pop. Because of it, Atlas would give you medical check ups, two times a day, every day of every week as long as the virus would be around.

💿 At least, being an android gives him an advantage since it’s impossible for him to get infected, making it easier for him to venture out to get food and supplies, but he’d still need to be wary of getting attacked by survivors.

💿 “You can't come with me! You could get hurt and… I don’t want to see my human in pain.”

💿 He would be amazed if you were immune, due to his system making him very curious and eager to learn more, especially if it’s about you.

💿 To the surprise of no one, Atlas would kill anyone that would try to kidnap you for a cure. And he wouldn’t be merciful about it, hurting them just enough so they die a long and painful death.

🪓 A zombie apocalypse wouldn’t even surprise him at this point, especially after everything he had seen.

🪓 Since the human population had decreased after everything that happened in his world and considering that Flowermore was a small town in the countryside, the undead wouldn’t be too much of a bother.

🪓 At the very least they would only need to build a barricade around the town just to be sure.

🪓 If the virus would end up affecting the townsfolk, you would still be relatively safe since no need to remind you that Martin is a bounty hunter.

🪓 For him, killing a living person or a walking dead body doesn’t make a difference, except for the fact that they would be even easier targets.

🪓 On top of that, his home, being outside town and into the forest, is surrendered by different types of traps. Needless to say you would be in good hands.

🪓 “Don’t worry darlin’, I’ll blow up their brains before they even get the chance to notice you.”

🪓 Martin would be happy and horrified if you are immune, because it means that you have a better chance at survival but you would also become sought after at the same time.

🪓 I don’t know if it was clear from my drawings in part 1, but Martin is in fact trans! I didn’t mention it explicitly because I didn't find a way to write it in organically. In future works his transness will be mentioned and have more of an importance, but don’t worry guys he won’t be defined by it only!

🪓 When the apocalypse started, he stayed by his mothers side to protect and care for her, just like she did to him when he was small. He really loved his mother dearly. One of his earrings is actually from her!

💿 Currently in his timeline, Atlas is the most advanced android on earth and not only because of the coding Hydrotech gave him. When he was saved by the reader, his program changed, making him more independent and capable of human feelings

💿 There’s a childproof setting on Atlas, meaning that his private parts can be retracted inside of him. In his main story, it is still active, since the reader didn’t canonically do anything with him yet so they don’t know about it.

📈 He has ✨ daddy issues ✨, but more seriously he really has a bad relationship with him. When Esteban was younger he wanted to prove to his father his worth, but in adulthood he realized that he would never be proud of his accomplishments. There’s still a part of him that yearns for it, but he doesn’t expect it anymore.

📈 I hinted at it in my previous posts, but Esteban really enjoys cooking and he is skilled at it too! He especially loves to be able to make food for his partner! To him, the effort that goes into a meal is the best way to show the extent of his feelings!

OH MY GOD, I used to have severe eczema when I was in High school! So thank you anon for giving me a chance to heal my inner teenage self 😌

📈 If your eczema is on your arms or somewhere else that could be accidentally rubbed against while cuddling, Esteban will make it a point to wear clothes that won’t irritate your skin.

💿 Having been created to serve humans, he would instantly know how to treat your eczema and will make it his duty. So he’s going to give you all the tips possible to make it less severe. 

💿 He’ll still ask you to go see a professional though, if you didn’t already, and even go as far to book an appointment for you. 

💿 If you use corticosteroid ointment or a moisturizing cream, don’t even think about skipping these treatments. Atlas will literally set up internal alarms to notify when it's time for you to put some on and if you complain he'll just do it for you. 

💿 You’re going to feel like you have your own personal doctor, except that doctor lives with you 24/7 and is secretly obsessed with you.

🪓 Martin doesn’t know a lot about that skin condition, but if you want to, he is going to try to help you as best as he can.

🪓 First thing first, he’ll ask the elders if they have any recipe for homemade moisturizing cream or something similar and he’ll ask the town's doctor if he can be of any help.

🪓 Living in a post-apocalypse world makes access to certain treatments more difficult, but don’t worry he’ll go wherever and do whatever it takes to secure it for you. He needs to make a trip that will take him two weeks by foot? Consider it done.

🪓 He already observes you all the time, so he would make it a habit to gently take your hand in his when you scratch your skin or maybe just rub your back to signal to you that you are doing it.
