that... is pretty genius. hearing repeat stories can be quite a headache. some people just like to talk, which i don't really blame. or even mind. and especially when i care about the person, i wanna listen. but also. sometimes it's just nonsense spewing from their mouth and it's best to just tune out.

Sometimes I get in the moments where I’m talking with a friend and they’re just rambling on about mostly nothing or things I’d already know and I get very annoyed so I pretend I’m not listening. And when they yell at me I play dumb as if I don’t know what I was doing it’s a very clever tactic.
