AD MORTEM: ODDITIES SHOP

uri, xander’s best friend, co-owns the shop for when xander is away. uri is hard to pin down, he’s a bit cynical like xander but knows the beauty of the small moments. he’s good for xander because he’s not afraid to get straight to the point. when timothy’s body was recovered, he was the one to come over with a shovel and some gloves. he’s smart, so he knows what can and cannot be sold to certain people, and will always find his customers the perfect match, even if it wasn’t what they came in for. there is only one official employee at the shop, a younger man named william everett mason ( also known as the puppy ). he’s outgoing, excited, energetic and completely naive to the shit show that xander has seen and IS in general. william doesn’t know when to stop talking, but that is half of his charm. he is perfect for the job, because the vibes he radiates helps reverse the negative energy in the shop. he mostly works as the cashier, but also as a consultant with the things that AREN’T haunted. that’s primarily xander’s job. sometimes mara ( a close friend and uri’s on and off again partner ) comes to help out on the busy days, but she travels a lot as well and only does so when xander really needs her. she is bubbly, cunning, wicked, and a handful. she isn’t afraid to snap back at grumpy customers, which is why she is normally kept out of the store.
