*:･ﾟ✧ i’ll save the fancy details for later down below, but heyo--- robin’s detailed summary of a pokemon trainer verse (and some extras). figured just getting straight to the point would be easier.

stemming from the region of kalos, robin is a strong opponent in battle, being one of few able to complete the gym challenge and obtain all eight badges from his home region. choosing to not attempt challenging the elite four and champion however, robin instead chooses to explore outside of his home region to discover what else the other known regions have to offer.

he is naturally a very strategic person and thus this translates into his battle style, meaning that he plays very similarly to the competitive format meant for serious single battles. despite this, he loves and respects all pokemon and their strength, no matter how much weaker they may be in comparison to others.

his main team after completing the kalos gym challenge was:

meowstic (male), togekiss, murkrow, luxray, noivern, mega lopunny battle-related info

though of course he has many more at his disposal, especially after he’s traveled through the other regions, consisting of:

braixen, pyroar (female), aegislash, talonflame, goomy

staraptor, rotom, roserade

liepard, zorua, reuniclus, mienshao

kommo-o, raichu (alolan), sandslash (alolan), primarina

when visiting the galar region however, as per the regions ruling with pokemon entering*, some of his team members could not join him, leaving him to rebuild his team. in doing so his new main team becomes:

togekiss, noivern, corviknight, sandaconda, indeedee (male), type: null battle-related info

*this can be ignored if u choose, idrc

as the galar region’s gym challenge is very different compared to kalos’, it has his attention, and his goal is to complete it--- potentially even try for the spot of defeating the undefeatable champion.

OTHER NOTES

his togekiss was hatched from an egg as a togepi, and is incredibly attached to robin, almost never leaving his side and becoming his most recognizable team member.

because of togekiss’ dex entry for sword and shield, she is an incredibly rare sight, often making her a popular figure in galar.

robin’s togekiss is a very affection pokemon, often seen smothering robin or any of his friends in physical affection.

robin’s strongest member will always be his noivern.

said noivern was saved from pokemon poachers/hunters thanks to robin, and joined his team as a sign of respect as well as to protect himself from having it happen again

robin’s noivern is aggressive and anti-social. he will lash out at those he does not trust or those who try to touch him.

the type: null robin receives is the third that escaped from lusamine after alola’s events.

if robin were to be a pokemon mystery dungeon style, he would be a meowstic (male)

if robin were to have a legendary pokemon (caught, associated with, etc) it would be thundurus (therian)
