Young Adventurers
The sound of splashing echoed through the tunnels of Sonata Station as Sora and Luna stepped out from the stairwell and out towards another platform. Sora glanced to his friend and gave her a bit of a smile before stepping towards the abandoned platform and towards the gap in the floor which held the steel rails for the train.
The silence was deafening. That was until the occasional drip of water was heard. The light that snuck its way through the cracks in the floor lit up the station enough to distinguish certain shapes and objects on the platform, but wasn't enough to see down the tunnels the train would travel through, causing Sora enough unease to summon his Keyblade with a mighty sheen and sparkle of light.
"Be careful... We don't know what's here... I hope that girl is safe, but this place doesn't seem friendly..."

Sora stood up and held out his hand for Badou to help him up. He watched how Badou held onto the wayfinder delicately. Reminded him of Riku to be honest. A soft and caring person under a bitter and rough around the edges exterior.
"Don't be afraid to call on me if you need help! I may be a kid, but I can help in my own ways!" Sora explains. He meant every single word.
Sora's optimism is almost blinding. Badou nudges him back, crooked grin still plastered on his face despite himself.
"Alright, I will. I'll take anything at this rate, to change my luck. Rabbit's foot, salt, a shell or two-- I need all the help I can get."
Seriously, he isn't joking.

Stakeout
A few days have gone by since Sora had seen Badou. He was walking around the main town and took shortcuts through alleyways and on top of buildings. Sora had no idea where he was going or what he was going to do today, so he just wandered.
That is until he found a man with long orange hair and terrible taste in clothes crouching in one of the alleyways.
Sora would drop down from the rooftop. He used the fire escape ladders to make his way down to his friend and crouched down when he hit the concrete. He then snuck up and tapped Badou on the shoulder.
"What are we doing?...."

Wayfinder
Summer was the best time of the year in Sora's eyes. Back at Destiny Islands, Summertime meant that all the kids would be going to the hangout island to play, but that was over a year ago at this point. Even though Sora missed it, he was glad to spend summer with new friends that he had made, and one of said friends was Fawn!
He wanted to surprise Fawn! Donald had helped him make a few treats to bring over so that way he could give her a gift while he was at it.
Good thing there wasn't a long walk to Fawn's and Luna's. They were only a few houses down, so about a five or so minute walk and Sora didn't mind! He loved where he resided even if it were temporary.
On the front steps, Sora knocked a cute little knock to the tempo of a popular RPG game unbeknownst to him. He waited for a moment. Two moments. And then decided to knock again.
"Fawn? Are you home?! Luna?! Are you home too? Is Fawn there?!" He called out, hoping for some sort of answer at least.

New Words
"BADOU!!!" Sora calls out, his oversized shoes clapping against the sidewalk as he searches for his older, less energetic friend.
Sure he could be on a job, sure Sora might blow his cover for a teeny bit, but this was important!
Badou's name rings in the air, left and right until he spots the would be nobody. "HEY! are you busy? This is important! Have you ever heard of the work skibbidi?"

Deep blue eyes scanned over the professor's body. Sora tried to notice any shift or movement. Anything that would cause her to... emote. She taught students. Kids like him. He didn't realize until now but... For someone who shows little to no facial emotion, she's able to win over the hearts of many.
"Three territories? Sounds like a lot to handle..." Sora muttered. Sora shifted his eyes to the foliage. Sunlight beamed through gaps in the leaves, forming pillars around them. The spot was quiet with only the faintest rustle of sticks, twigs, and leaves.
"Do you usually defend the neutral territory? You're skilled with a sword and- other weapons. Do you go out and save people? Save the people of different lands too?"
Sora fell quiet afterwards. Only the soft whistle from his nostrils could be heard from a moment before he piped up afterwards. "You don't have to answer that if you don't want to."
⚔️ // HERCULES and riku . it seemed that sora had a great many allies that he had POSITIVE RELATIONS with . pondering that further , byleth found that fact in itself to be wholly unsurprising . he was a good child . a bright one . allies likely flocked to him in the same manner that the blue lions flocked around dimitri , when things had been SIMPLER . and dimitri had been . . . kinder .
byleth would have to ask sora more about his allies . perhaps as a way of distraction when next they mounted their steed .
"fodlan ." she answered simply at first . "it is a land split between three territories . the holy kingdom of faerghus to the north , the leicster alliance to the north - west , and . . . the adrestrian empire , located in the south . there is also a neutral territory in the center of fodlan . that is where i used to live , and teach ."

Showstopper
It was near the end of the evening. The sun was descending and Sora was making his way home from the city. He was exhausted with all that he did today. Running errands sucked sometimes but he needed to find a way to help Donald even though Donald could do it himself, he wanted to help any way he could.
As Sora walked up the street to 201, he saw a tall, black figure in the distance trying to..
Are they trying to break in?
Sora placed the groceries he was carrying to the side where no one would take them or run over them and he started to run up to the figure. He summoned his blade and ran with it resting on his shoulder.
"Hey!! Stop that! What're you doing? Someone lives there!"
As he got closer, he saw some of the more spindly features of the creature. Red details caught his eye too as he approached.
"What?! Heartless! You don't belong here!"

About half an hour after Sora's arrival he learns of his district. "The two in the first number is for Seaside Province..." He mutters to himself. "And the last number is the.... House? Villa... I think..." With a bit more confidence in his step he pulls out the new phone he was given. He squints and wraps both hands around it to figure out how the darned thing works.
He spends the next few moments fiddling with the rectangular box, tapping at the screen, clicking the buttons on the side, and rotating it every-which-way getting a bit impatient trying to unlock it's secrets. Sora's confusion and curiosity get the better of him though causing him to not pay as much attention to the path. His hair isn't making it easier for him either, blocking out a bit of his upper peripheral vision. A few seconds later he walks his whole body into this tall, red haired man forcing the phone he's messing with into his crown pendant with a light crack. Before checking on said device, Sora looks up with a bit of an awkward smile. "Hey! Sorry about that! I was... trying to figure this thing out..." He muttered as he looked down at the phone, a large crack running diagonally from the top left of the screen to the bottom left. "Name's Sora! It's nice to meet you!"

The Plan!
The wind blew through Sora's window, forcing the curtains to flow and whip against the wall. The Few trees that lined Seaside Province rustled audibly outside as Sora and his friend Cucumber cleared the desk in the corner of Sora's bedroom. Pencils, pens, and markers fell and clattered to the ground as Sora rolled out a large roll of coffee stained paper.
Sora had spent the previous night watching a thirty minute video on ScreenMe with Donald on how to make treasure map paper, and although it smelled exactly like coffee and had obvious scissor cuts for weathering, it looked pretty dang good for a fifteen year old.
"So... I told Byleth and Luna that I would have a map while they go and get their costumes! Usually Donald- well, my Donald from my world would have taken care of map stuff, I don't see why we won't be able to take care of this on our own! Are... You familiar with maps, Cucumber?"
Sora grabbed a chunk of charcoal and dirtied up his hands. He then started smearing the dust over his cheeks and across the bridge of his nose to give him a dirtied up look. He was already halfway in his costume and it wasn't even the day yet! He did look good in his Tricorne!
@magiccuco So it begins!

When overcome by darkness, Sora felt peace. The pain had disappeared and his fear slowly shifted towards a tranquil state. He felt satisfied with what had happened. He knew that even if Kai-
No, it was Zelda
If Zelda had a chance to flee. To help herself. Then he would be satisfied, and he was.
When overcome by darkness, Sora felt familiarity. The feeling he had when he slipped into darkness when he lost his world. Lost, hopeless, and small.
That was until he was saved by his friend Kairi. her heart sent him to Traverse Town. A world where lost souls go when their world is lost, But although this darkness felt like his very first experience with darkness, it was too different to call the two the same.
Sora floated for what seemed like forever. He closed his eyes to rest and enjoy the peace of nothing. No burden and no heartless.
Then a light shined upon Sora. His eyelids slowly opened as the light became unbearable to keep them closed. As they opened, he felt solid ground beneath his feet and the glittering of stained glass caught his eyes. A quick scan proved to Sora of the friend he had rescued from their terrible fate.
Zelda...
He thought to himself as he walked over to her portrait.
She's not from my world, but- she's a bearer of light?...
Another scan of the glass would show Sora the portraits near Zelda's face, with the closest one being Link.
Maybe their world isn't so different from mine...
Sora felt himself fall into a deep sleep. The bluish white light faded into the darkness as he watched the stained glass portrait disappear into the dark, only for Sora to find himself resting on the floor of a never-ending hallway.
−−− ꧁ zelda grit her teeth , grounding down to the eyes that speak to her : a flicker of blue that she could almost see herself in , if only they weren't overshadowed by seething pain . she's already lost so much to false promises . people who would motivate her to rise under the pretense that it would work out . that faith was enough. ( it was never enough . )
blood falls thicker than tears .
hands swipe and prey onto the shadow , a singular ray of crimson swiping across the silhouette of her savior as if they found something special ; as if they craved his bravery . his . instinct compels zelda to lurch forward , after her protector :
that is , until it becomes nothing but a wisp she chases . nothing but smoke and chaos that sucks her in and blows it all back in her face . her hand stiffeningly vacant . . . had it . . . ever even been held ??
here . . . and gone . as if it -- he -- they -- were never even here to begin with . a heart shattering loneliness sets in as her hand closes onto itself , heart thumping in her throat as the panic to finally run sets in .
somebody had told her to run . . . hadn't they ??

Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust
Blue light filled Sora's eyes and slowly dissipated in front of him. A stained glass portrait faded into the black as Sora felt himself jerk and awaken inside of a stretched hallway. A sigh escaped him as he stood.
"Did- I just die?..."
Sora brought his hands up to his vision. He stretched his fingers and cracked his knuckles and then looked down at his feet. Still had on his large shoes too, so that's a plus. He tapped the toe of his shoe on the ground a few times before investigating his surroundings.
"Where- am I? Traverse Town?..."
In front of Sora was an endless hotel-esque hallway with doors littering both sides. He looked behind him and saw the same. "well... Only one way out and that's forward I guess." Sora started walking. First instinct, ignore the doors and find an end to this hallway, but after what seemed like hours he grabbed hold of a door knob, twisted it, and opened the door.
Inside he saw his island. Like the door he was exiting was from the mysterious door he had entered at the beginning of his lengthy journey. Sora stepped onto the sandy path and made his way to the dock. The salty breeze stung his eyes, but it didn't bother him too much as something more important stood in front of him at the end of the dock.
Sora saw reddish-brown hair, bright blue eyes, and the softest most welcoming smile. He returned the smile and started to sprint towards the figure.
Tears formed in his eyes. This journey that he's been on for over a year now feels so close to the end. He was right there with his best friend. She was here, his world was safe and his friend was safe too!
Sora held out his arms as he approached to give his friend the biggest hug he could muster. He wrapped swung his arms around the figure and they phased right through. Sora gasped. The sprint forced him forward and with no physical body to catch him, he fell forward off the dock, landing in the ocean below him.
He sunk like a rock. The ocean water stinging his eyes as he tried to swim up but to no avail. He reached up as a last second effort to grab onto something but couldn't find anything. His eyes closed as he sank deep into this darkness.

Magical Mystery
It had been almost a week since Sora and Fawn escaped from Sonare. So much has happened to Sora, but he wanted to be able to relax and collect his thoughts for a few days before he approached the friends he was with at the mysterious island.
He was on the pier, shoes off, feet kicking the water around as his thoughts swirled in his head. After a few moments, he groaned and grabbed at his head. His feet kicked the water with a heavy splash, soaking his pants.
He let out a sigh and pushed himself up to at least walk the beach. Maybe finding more thalassa shells would be a good idea?
maybe
Sora would wander for about an hour. He'd see some familiar faces smiling and waving at him, causing him to smile and wave back as well as participating in small talk. Everything kinda just flowed until he saw a man in.... a relatively non-beachy attire. A cloak? Or is that a cape?
Reminds him of Byleth
Sora jogged up to this person, seeing as he was another other-worldly traveler. He didn't look like the normal citizens of Arcanus, so he wasn't afraid to start conversation. This was Sora though, when would he ever be afraid to start a conversation?
"Yaknow, if you're looking for the library, you missed it by a long shot! It's about a thirty minute walk that way!" Sora pointed back towards the main land, not even remotely close to where the library actually is. "I can take you there if you'd like? I need something to do anyways!"

A searing pain pushed into his heart as he felt his chest tighten and jaw tremble lightly. He stared at Luna for a few seconds before turning his head and wiping his eyes with his sleeve.
HUFF
It takes a few seconds. The words Luna had told him stung like a dagger, but he analyzed what she said and looked back up to her. He wiped his eyes once more before pushing his hands into his pockets. Almost like the tears stopped, he looked Luna up and down and shook his head once more.
SNIFFLE
"You're cold..." He mutters, just loud enough for the other person to hear. "I haven't been friends with Luna for long, maybe a few months, but she would never say I'm not here for her." Sora quickly pulled his hands out of his pockets and extended his arm. A shimmer of light appeared and out of it formed the Keyblade. He gripped onto it in a defensive stance, steady and low. Quick to dodge and strike back.
"She would say not to find her. She would tell me not to worry. She would even try telling me I can't help her, which may be true... I don't know who YOU are, but Luna is my friend and she knows it! Where is the REAL Luna, imposter!?"
"No," she starts off. It's quiet, too quiet to even be considered a whisper. Perhaps that's why Sora continued on and even reached out his tainted hands. Fucking HERO type disgusted her.
People who were all about helping people and making sure that THEY saw the Lii~IIGHT pissed her off. Made her sick to her stomach. He, in hopes, that she'd reach her own hand out and say 'YEAH, let's go!!!!' pissed her off even more. It's almost laughable that he's trying so hard AND doesn't even know who she is. He claims that Luna is his friend and yet...
Look at that dumb smile. This flea has no idea. Kukukukukuukku.
And he still yaps on.
"Sora, I said No. I can't and I won't." And as disgusting as she felt about Sora, she holds in that jealousy, the rage, the hatred...FOR this moment...Oh, she'll savor it. She knows exactly how, too.
"You're not my friend, Sora. You never were. You keep saying you want to help me, but you can't. Nobody can. Friends are supposed to be there for each other, right? I can't be there for you and you...," She chews on her cheek if only to add to the emotion she wants to portray. She shakes her head, eyebrows knit together and head hung low as she sighs out, defeated, "You're not strong enough to be there for me.
You're too weak, Sora. So....So no. We're not friends. You're not here for me. Nobody is. I just need you to relay my message to everyone else and you can't even do that."

A New Challenger!
It was a beautiful day out as most days were in Aevum. More often than not, Sora would spend these days at the beach, collecting more shells or just swimming the day away but today was different. He wanted to take what his friend Byleth had taught him and put them to the test!
Sora was on his way to the training grounds when he heard metal cracking against the wood and bamboo dummies. A smirk came over him and he jogged up to find a man in blue and wearing an... interesting hat, claiming the training grounds for himself. He watched the figure closely as he was interested in the fighting style of the individual.
The movements looked graceful yet steady. elegant yet strong. Immediately Sora was drawn into the form wanting to learn more.
He waited for a minute to hopefully gain his attention in a pause in his training.
And then he found his moment.
"Hey! Don't mind me, but I was watching you a bit! I'm Sora! But what are you doing? Well, what fighting style is that? I've never seen anything like it!"

Rooftop Wreckers
This time of night was Sora's favorite to explore the rooftops of the city. The city wasn't exactly large, but it was fun to explore either way!
There weren't kids around copying him. There weren't adults like Thor, Byleth, and Donald telling him to get down so he Doesn't break his neck. So the evenings were perfect... It was quiet and calm...
Sora was on top of the building of a restaurant. He loved watching how life was in the city. Eating food, shopping, going on dates...
"Kairi would love it here..." He muttered to himself. He let out a gentle sigh and hopped over to another building.
Again. The evening was lovely. Crickets chirped, leaves rustled, and people talked. It was quiet and-
SMACK
Sora felt all his momentum suddenly stop as he collided into a- pole? No! It was a person!
But before he could figure out who it was, he felt himself falling!
CRASH
Sora pushed himself out of what appears to be a dumpster. He climbed out of it with a few grunts, groaning at his stressed muscles and now bruised skin. He fell out with a thud before looking at this blonde haired man. Despite his frustrations and pain, he wasn't angry and that reflected in his first words.
"Hey... are you okay?..."

Any sunny day at the beach puts a bright smile on Sora's face even if he's smiling ninety percent of the time. The beach makes him extra smiley for it reminds him of home. When he learns of the boardwalks of Aevum, Sora has been there almost every day enjoying the sun, splashing in the water, and collecting seashells. Today however he was going to enjoy a long swim at the end of the longest boardwalk he could find.
With nothing but a pair of swimming trunks, Sora runs barefoot from his home in the Seaside Province to the boardwalks on the beach. When he scouts the perfect diving point, Sora charges quickly and aggressively. his feet thumping along the sea sanded wood and his breath heaving, tasting the salty mist at every inhale. He nears the end of the walkway and he's showing no signs of slowing.
Sora braces to dive headfirst into the sea but catches a glimpse of a large, bulky figure sitting at the edge. He didn't pay any more attention to him though as he hops off one foot, plants both feet firmly onto the edge of the dock and lunges forward into the waters a few feet below him. His body piercing the sea and sending mist into the air around the edge of the dock,
A few moments later, Sora surfaces and immediately inhales for air. A light cough expels sea water from his lungs as he glances up at the man and waves. "Sorry mister!" He shouts before starting his swim back to shore to repeat the process.
