where: the kiskadden lot plot drop: it’s a lock down who: @camkiskadden & eun yeong trigger warnings: probably death, blood & murder mentions
the night was young. a beautiful night for a little bit of a car right. normally, eun didn’t really bother with his car. could just run their faster if he wished to. but he had a package to deliver and had no intention of potentially harming it in his haste. so, it sat in the seat next to him. buckled liked a passenger as he drove outside of the city and into the desert. the top down on his car, little care in the world.
something about the moment was a little surreal. it wasn’t the action or the way he was doing it. it was the ease he had in his bones. every other time he had ever headed out to the specific property that was his destination, it was in secret. to watch the hunters that annoyed him so. the urge to kill strong but for once, he was a good little boy. the inconvenience it would be for the person he cared for so closely. but that was ages ago and the person was gone.
but there was someone new to care for. someone young and impressionable. more importantly, someone that was clearly lost. things she did not know. it was entire reason he was speeding through the desert. to talk to young clementine. the little dhampir that had been feeding from animal blood. the very thought made his lip curl. no one should survive on such a thing. not a vampire and not a half breed. still, it didn’t matter to him in the long run. their choices were their own. it didn’t stop him from smiling when they died.
his speed made short work of the distance. nothing in him willing to care about limits as he began to slow and pull up towards the lot. there would be a point where he would need to be let in. this he could remember. so, eun parked quickly. grabbing the box in the seat next to him and making his way up to the buzzer as instructed by cam. a spark of excitement rolled up his spine due to the it being the first time he was freely walking onto the hunter land. oh, the ghosts of the family would surely be upset. how wonderful.
ringing the buzzer, he waited until he was prompted to announce what he wanted. “it’s eun. i’ve come with my gift. “
there was nothing more to say, so, all he could was wait for when he was let in…

where: out and about event: all hallows’ eve who: @camkiskadden& eun yeong trigger warnings: blood, gore and death references
there had been a scent. a scent twisting in the air only a day ago. the scent had gotten their attention. it circle their mind for hours into the night. echoes of something like a memory slipping through their fingers with each passing through. it tasted like something like exhaustion. like the deep grounded dirt. hints of mortality dancing across their tongue from a mere whiff of the scent. all of it was enough to catch their attention and keep it.
the scent had something most important. made eun curious.. and a curious eun, is a hunting eun. for the briefest of time, they had worried that their new found need would end in blood. just just any blood. but the type they ended covered in simply because they weren’t a polite eater. a limb from limb sort of hunger. yes, he could like that. but it was against the rules. not civil behavior. eun had been on good behavior for years.. except for once.
luck hadn’t been on eun’s side then. a strange phenomenon. something akin to.. bad luck. the one where their covered in blood and their teeth ache. a body in shreds and that.. mortal...
eun quietly moved through the crowd of swirling scents. still, they were able to focus. there was nothing overwhelming them. with a spark of luck, their attention was drawn and they caught the scent again. so close, they could practically taste the warmth of a body. with little effort, the target was in sight and.. eun was, surprised.
there was age on the mortal but the scent didn’t lie. eun snickered to themself while looking on from a small distance. not a ghost. no, simply, a man back from disappearing. reappearing when that annoying family was still, large but dying. the mortal to win orator. yes, eun remembered completely now. cameron. cameron kiskadden. his campaign had been solidarity. morality. fairness. only for the human to disappear. poof. without a trace. gone. but there was no mistaking who was moving like a sad shadow at the edges of the crowd. of course, eun didn’t know his actual state mind but there was something about the shoulders.
working on closing the gap between them, eun moved at a speed that certainly wasn’t human to put their body in front of the night’s quarry. dark eyes taking a moment to trail over the man’s body. time had certainly taken a toll. but the beard.. there was something about the beard. could it be.. soft?
“if i hadn’t known better i would have said i was seeing a ghost.. and yet..” there was something like soft curiosity on eun’s face when they greeted the elder hunter in front of them. well, hold than he had been anyway. humans were still, less. “but i would know that scent anywhere.”
“i’m certain if the midnight world had known it would only take killing that hag you called a mother to get you to come back.. they most definitely would have done it.” the gentle curiosity slowly shifted into something more mischievous as they spoke..
