SOOOOOOOOO ^_^ the mmo i am currently talking about is Palia by Singularity 6! i play it through having downloaded on steam but i think you might be able to just. go to their website and download it? pc needed but i have also heard of someone playing it on a nintendo switch so perhaps there's more than just pc available :O and yeahh!

i don't think a palia account is necessary but since i am hoping to get suuuper into this i don't wanna lose any progress so i made one :3 but again i don't think it's mandatory

menhera (mental health -> mentaru herusu -> menheru -> menhera) is slang for someone suffering from mental health disorders, typically women, but it's become a community centered around expressing pain through art and fashion (typically), finding community and bettering yourself/coping with mental health problems. It started very tied to BPD, but lots of people with different disorders are in the community and from what I've seen it's not super gatekeep-y?

It's very tied to fashion, moreso than jirai imo, because there's a very strong association with yamikawaii and sick-cute stuff that's intertwined with the whole "expressing your pain but wanting to get better, so it's cute!" thing

There's also a lot of representation and spreading awareness for chronic illness, with the hospital themes and the fashion being quite casual and comfortable compared to frillier jfashion.

I'm half asleep but really it's. yeah it's a community for awareness, but it's notably more pro-recovery than communities like jirai. unpleasant things are made to be cutesy as a coping mechanism, but never encouraged or similar. there's probably better ways to explain all of this but hopefully I got the main bits across? Communities and stuff like this can be a bit hard to explain, because everyone's experiences being in them can be so different, y'know? @ _ @
