The dreamlessness of everything was like peace. It was solitude - empty and free of choice. But as that peace drifts away, its replaced with the buzz, the electronic hum, of equipment and lights. It struck him, somehow, as oddly calming itself. It was nothing like the roar of blood and adrenaline, like the rush of wind past the ears during a fight. It was... off.

Where had he been last? Why did it feel like his throat had been sapped of all moisture like a desert in the summer? The thoughts swirled as he became more away of his body, of how stiff it felt to even attempt to shift a finger.

It's a familiar voice that snapped Suguru out of part of the spiral he was going down, and he had to force his eyes open - only to see that blaze of white hair.

" Satoru. " He croaked, and then coughed, bringing a hand up to his throat. What had happened to him?? He wanted to ask but his throat made it hard to speak.
